Why does Sync not always load, or for that matter, the personal addons page?

For all of the betas, including Minefield, every so often Firefox features do not seem to load. The Add-ons Manager will stay "blank", despite the columns loading, just nothing inside. And thus I am said when this happens. Any ideas?

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never Remember History).

Verizon wi fi for hot spots does not work with Windows 8. For verification go to FAQs about Verizon Wi-Fi for FiOS Internet,
http://www.verizon.com/Support/Residential/Internet/fiosinternet/networking/setup/wi-fi/124650.htm , and click on How do I know if my laptop or netbook is compatible with Verizon Wi-Fi? . Verizon wireless home network does work well with Windows 8.
Since you can't even download the wi fi for hot spots software if you have Windows 8, I don't know how to use compatability mode to get around the problem,

The iTunes Store does allow purchases via PayPal, but only in the US. If you're in another country, PayPal is not available as a payment method.

It is something that should be in the options tab , and I want to know why it isn't. I am totally frustrated with firefox and getting ready to switch.

You can use the SearchReset extension to reset some preferences to the default values.

Note that the SearchReset extension only runs once and then uninstalls automatically, so it won't show on the "Firefox > Add-ons" page (about:addons).

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

Why does iphone not always pick up signal in new city?

I just flew to Vegas, Phoenix and Atlanta. Each time, iphone did not acquire signal on landing for minutes (at least), but immediately picked it up when I powered down and powered back on. What is the technical reason for this, and why does turning the phone off and on help to re-establish connection? I realize this issue is not unique to iphones, but I've never understood why it happens.

Whether or not GSM signals from any cellular phone will cause a plan to crash is not the point. The point is the FAA requires devices that have not been certified by the FAA not radiate in any radio frequency. Airplane mode was designed to comply with those rules and regulations. I don't have confirmation, but comparing my battery life on a trip this last week to my mothers to back in late July the iPhone seemed to have better battery life in a No Service area. I personally suspect that after being in a No Service area for a while the iPhone will stop searching as frequently. When you power off the iPhone or put it in Airplane mode for a few minutes and then come out of Airplane mode the iPhone will search for signal.
There is a limited waiver in place for WiFi for some airlines that are experimenting with offering WiFi, but that does not extend to the GSM frequencies.

I use 'Nightly' the "unofficial" official 64 bit version of firefox and the iCloud bookmarks plugin is not compatible. Why is this unsupported?

Follow these steps to fix the issue...
Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/icloud-bookmarks/
Right-click on "+ Add to Firefox" and select "Save Link As..."
Save the file to your desktop
Rename the file to add the .zip extension (eg icloud_bookmarks-1.4.14-fx-windows.xpi.zip)
Open the zip file
Extract the install.rdf file and open it with notepad
Remove the whole following line to allow it to work in a 64bit browser
<em:targetPlatform>WINNT_x86-msvc</em:targetPlatform>
Change the following line from...
<em:maxVersion>31.*</em:maxVersion>
to something like...
<em:maxVersion>99.*</em:maxVersion>
Save the file, and update the zip file with the one we just fixed
Delete the META-INF folder, otherwise during installation it will detect install.rdf has been modified
Rename the file back to .xpi (eg icloud_bookmarks-1.4.14-fx-windows.xpi)
Open this file with Firefox, it should install the addon fine now
Open the iCloud Control Panel settings, and enable Firefox bookmark syncing.

Why does Spaces not always show apps in the designated space?

I have 2 spaces defined. Space 1 is for xcode. Space 2 is for Interface Builder. When in space 1 and using xcode I open a xib file. It opens in space 2 with Interface Builder, just like it should. However when I open another xib file from space 1 it displays in space 1 and not in space 2.
Before a clean instal of SL it always opened in the correct space.
Is this a bug or is there a magic setting somewhere?
Also how do you manually move views to other spaces?

What happens if you open the xib from IB via space 2 thereafter? Does that xib behave the same each time it is re-opened?
Have you emptied Xcode's caches specifically during your tests?

Wireles sync not found in options for any of the "syncable" modules

When syncing, I get a message that my Outlook calendar can't be synced because Wireless is turned on. Help tells me "
On your BlackBerry® device, in the Calendar application, Contacts application, Tasks application, or MemoPad, press the Menu key > Options.
If necessary, click a calendar or contact list.
Change the Wireless Synchronization field to No or clear the Wireless Synchronization check box.
Press the Menu key > Save.
the problem is that when I go to Options there is no "Wireless Synchronization" field. All I find is Calendar Display, Confernce Calling, and Date & Time. The two accounts, my gmail one & the blackberry.net acount are also displayed.
What I'm doing wrong or am I barking up the wrong tree?

It seems this negates one of the primary benefits of Apple Pay, which is to make purchases without turning over your credit card information to the merchant, in this case Apple. Why does firefox not shutdown or have so many problems finding google start page

An error notice states (firefox is still running and not responding) on shutdown. Sometimes when I go home I get a message stating
