Why is that same photo always mysteriously appear in the edited folder whenever a photo is added to camera roll????? If I happen to take a picture on my iPad, then if I go to iPhoto, there is this one stubborn picture that mysteriously appears in the edited folder. When I try to revert it to original so I can get it out from the edit folder, it's not highlighted. So what I do is actually edit it then revert it to original, then it disappears. However if I go back to the iPad camera and take a picture or just save a picture from safari that same stubborn photo reappears in iPhoto edit folder when I launch the app. If that's not a bug, then what is????

Try a restore. If it is still there, you most likely have a hardware issue on logic board. Contact Apple and they will replace.

Why do "No Name" contacts keep appearing under the #

At the end of the alphabet on the righthand side of the contacts menu, is a #. Over a period of time, a number of "No Name" contacts appear. Does anyone know why?
There is no problem deleting them, but it is annoying that they keep reappearing.
I have noticed, that sometimes when I open Contacts, the selected contact is in edit mode. Could this have something to do with it?

I have no idea how that could happen exactly except leaving your phone unlocked and finding you accidentally edit contacts in your pocket. I had this happened one time I created a new contact without me knowing until I checked my phone. Always lock your screen before putting it in your pocket.
If it still shows up, you can go to Settings>iCloud>Toggle off and on for Contacts

Why does lightroom 2.7 keep making me import a folder?

Every time I sync my Nikon Transfer folder to import my new pictures that I just loaded from my camera, a folder that I have already imported is included in the import. This folder and its contents are already in there. And lightroom agrees by telling me that it didn't import that folder because it already exsists. Why does lightroom try to import that folder in the first place?

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I thought the folders viewed in Explorer and in Lightroom were one and the same. I think I see what you are getting at though. Perhaps if you were to change the name via Lightroom, the metadata gets changed in a way that causes Lightroom to think it needs to re-import. I don't change the names from the auto-generated sub folder that Nikon Transfer creates - which is the date and time using all numerals.
I think I am just going to copy this sub folder to somewhere else, delete the original, re-import it and see what happens. I will might lose all my raw edits in the process, but I have already delivered the finished jpegs to my client.

Why does my macbook pro keep disconnecting from the internet?

For whatever reason my Macbook pro 15in keeps disconnecting from the internet everytime it goes to sleep. And sometimes when I wake it up, I have to turn wifi on and off a couple times to get it to detect the right signal. This does not happen with my playstation or my phone so it has to be a problem with the Macbook itself. Can anyone give me any information on how to fix this problem? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Why does my airport express keep dissconnecting from the wifi it's extending?

Ok, so I have a airport express (latest gen) that is extending wifi from a time capsule. The problem is that at least once a day the airport disconnects from the wifi it's extending and I have to unplug it and plug it back in like 5 times before it starts working again. The error messages I keep getting from airport utility when it disconnects is "no dns server", "internet connection" and " wireless network" all with yellow circles next to them. Please help if you can. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Also, when it disconnects the light on the front flashes amber (yellow).

It's almost a miracle that it was working at all.
Each wall will absorb on average, about 15-20% of the signal so after 4 walls...and a ceiling....which is typically 2-3 time thicker than a wall....there isn't going to much signal left to extend.
Try locating the Express no more than half the distance between the Time Capsule and the general area upstairs that needs more wireless coverage. Minimize obstructions in the signal path as much as possible.
If that does not help, we'll have to do some SNR measurements to see if what you are trying to do is even feasible.

There used to be a disk activity or network activity indicator you could download that would make the uppermost left cluster of pixels flash when the disk or Network was accessed.
I expect you have added some third-party utility that has installed this feature for you.

Why does my exchange not even appear on the list!!...

I live in Blackburn / Darwen. Not too far from the town centre really, but I get a paltry 0.8mb connection speed for my internet. We're not even on the list to be done at the moment, how can I change this. My whole street is crying out for a faster speed, and I can near or noth guarantee if anyone provided us with a faster connection, we would all sign up!!!!!! Virgin said it was going to cost too much so they wouldn't do anything. It's not as if we live 'out of town' in a rural area. It's sooo annoying!
So, what can I do to bump us on the list for faster internet?

Currently there are roughly 5500 exchanges and 80,000 cabinets in the UK.
90% of the UK is covered by about 1800 of those exchanges.
Now BT has said that the currentl FTTC plans will cover about 65% of the population in the UK which is most like down to somethhing like 900 exchanges.
BT has said previously that they would cover 90% of the UK if the BDUK money of £800million would be given to BT.
Now BDUK UK being a government run quango went and did the "normal" thing for a quango and instead of getting the job done the started to hand out money to individual councils who then will decide how that money will be spent.
Estimates show that admin costs alone have bit £100million into that £800million budget and most likely will see an awful lot of people losing out on broadband upgrades.
BT's CEO today was banging the drum again apparently meeting with the Prime Minister and pledgeing 90% FTTC if the UK government gives them £800million.
I can see lots of positve noise coming from the government with no real commitment.

244 random photos suddenly appeared in the wrong folder

I recently imported 8 photos into Lightroom 5.7 using the "2015-05-25 Folder Name" naming system, and I saw the 8 imported photos in the folder. No problems. However, after reopening Lightroom, the folder with 8 photos suddenly has 252 photos. There are 244 random photos from various years and various other folders which are also inside of my main "Photo Library Lightroom" folder. I had been assigning "key wordis" to photos last week, but I am not sure how that could have taken 246 random photos and "shoved" them into the wrong folder. Do I have to manually "refile" the "misfiled" photos, or is there a magic button to get Lightroom to fix this?

The message displayed in the Force Quit Applications window says "Your Mac OS X startup disk has no more space available for application memory. The only applications that I have open are Safari and Finder and I am simply reading a discussion board.

It would appear that this error can be caused by an excessive system demand for swap space that exceeds the maximum allocation. Just try restarting the computer.
I found a possible solution for finding the cause of the error. Open Activity Monitor. Be sure you have the Real Memory column showing and the Processes dropdown menu set to All Processes. Select the Real Mem column and sort in descending order. Leave Activity Monitor open. The next time the error appears the application at the top of the column is the one causing the error.

Why does only a spinning gear appear on the 'Home' page of the Creative Cloud window?

When I click on the icon for Creative Cloud on the toolbar, it opens in the 'Home' window and a spinning gear appears. It does not disappear until I click on another page, such as 'Apps,' "Files,' etc.

This worked for me:
Open Finder, click on Go > Go to Folder. Type in ~/library and hit enter.
Open Application Support/Adobe folder and rename OOBE folder to OOBEold.
Click on Apple icon on the top left, select System Preferences
Choose the network that is currently connected to internet that can be Ethernet or
Airport(Wireless). Click on Advanced button and click Proxies Tab.
Under 'Select a Proxy server to Configure' Uncheck all the proxy check boxes, then uncheck 'Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV)'.
Hope this helps someone else.

Why does my iPhone 4 keep hanging after the upgrade to iOS 6?

My phone will hang when i launch the twitter app sometimes. After approx of 3-5 minutes of freeze screen, the apple logo appears. After about 1 minute of apple logo on the screen, the phone resumes its normal function.

Sounds like something got corrupted during your upgrade.
I would restore from a last known good backup if I were you.
If that doesn't work I would set the phone up as new and re-install all of your apps and re-sync your music again.

Why does my Macbook Pro keep freezing with the spinning beach ball?

This issue started yesterday. Every minute or so or less, my Mac will freeze up and I cant do anything, and then the beach ball will pop up for 5-60 seconds before going away, my machine unfreezes, and it happens again pretty quickly.
