Why does the desktop icon CC Manager say my MUSE CC 2014 is updated when it is not?

In order to upload my website modified files to an external server I am referred to updating Muse so that I have access to In-Browser Editing facility but the CC Manager insists that my version is the fully updated version.

follow the suggestion here, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed
though what program is suggesting muse is not up to date?

The Firefox home page, found at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/fx/ or by redirection from www.mozilla.com or www.firefox.com, tells me my version of Firefox is up to date. It isn't.
I'm currently running 11.0 (and should have 12.0) but this has been happening for quite some time now; that page just seems to always say you're up to date, no matter what.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

Why does the "find my iphone" ap say i'm not connected to the internet when i clearly am?

I can see web pages, update facebook status, tweet, etc. but this ap says i'm not connected to the internet (wifi and Verizon LTE). Also, why does the podcast ap say its unable to authorize to automatically update my podcasts (which automatically download to my mac book pro every day without a problem)?

Go here:
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > tap your Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region
and confirm that it's set to the correct country for your account. If it is, try signing out of your account and back in.

Hi. I am having trouble burning songs that I have purchased from the itunes store onto a CD for my own personal use in my car. Why is the ping icon next to some of the songs I purchase,When I try to burn these songs I am told by a pop up that these songs can't be found, but they are in my itunes music list.I don't understand. This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .

Why does the Firefox icon on my desktop read1788 and not Mozilla?

Recently the Mozilla icon on my desktop changed from reading Mozilla to 1788 (the writing right under blue the Mozilla Firefox symbol) . Is this something Mozilla has done or is there an issue I need to resolve and if so how to I resolve this issue?
Also are there any free virus protection, that work with Mozilla?

No, the desktop shortcut hasn't been renamed. First, make sure it's really pointing to Firefox and not something else:
1. Right-click the icon and choose Properties.
 2. In the Properties window, click the Shortcut tab.
 3. Make sure the Target field says 
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"
4. If it does, then click the General tab.
 5. In the text box at the top, enter the name you want for the shortcut.
 6. Click the OK button when done.
I take it you're having problems with the avast! Online Security add-on, which is why you have it disabled? Any add-on that scans every link on every page is bound to add a delay to loading time. If you're having more severe issues, you can ask for help on the Avast forum:

Why does the CD icon not appear on my desktop?

I just got my new iMac with lion on it - When I insert a CD or my external hard drive in the USB the icons do not appear on the desktop like they did on snow leapord. Any idea how to get the CD and drive Icon's to appear on my desktop?

HT2478 Why does the desktop photo application rotate my photos 90 degrees?

I have attached an image. The folder my photos are stored in is located below the Desktop and Screensaver app.
Notice that the orange arrows point from photos that are properly oriented in the folder they are saved in, but for some reason they are rotated when the desktop app pulls them up.
Does anyone know why this happening and how I can correct it?

That's one of the "Features" of iPhoto, it tags photos as rotared instead of actually rotating them, many other Apps will not recognize the tag & display them as they really are stored.

Why does the airplay icon not appear after upgrading to Mavericks on my iMac.

I am using an Apple TV, iPad 2, and an iMac with wifi sharing enabled. Before upgrading to mavericks I was easily able to use airplay to mirror the display of my ipad2 to a projector. After the upgrade the airplay icon will dispear. When I restart the wifi sharing on my imac then the airplay icon will reappear on my ipad.
Does anyone have a fix for this. I use this in my classroom and this problem made yesterdays lesson almost undoable because students were givng presentations and each time a student wanted to project thier ipad screen I had to reset my wifi.

Why does the genius icon appear when listening to ITuneU Lectures?

I listen to a lot of podcasts and find the "back 30 seconds" button very handy. When listening to lectures in iTunesU however, that button is replaced with the genius icon. Why? Bueller, Bueller...

If you notice closely, the location arrow points up on an angle. The iPod activity arrow points directly to the right. If you turn off the iPod App, the arrow goes away.

Why does the loading icon never go away?

I went to an adult site by accidnet and a pop up appeared. It was blacked out and I exited. Then when I went to facebook the loading icon just kept on spinning. It doesn't stop and it keeps coming back. I went to general settings and deleted my cache, history and cookies but that didn't work. I also tried restarting my phone but nothing. When I go to other web sites its ok but the only site its happening to is Facebook, the app itself is ok. What could be causing this?

Try force quitting the FB app, followed by resetting your phone. Double-tap the home button to bring up the recents list at the bottom, locate the FB app, tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap the minus sign. Now reset your phone: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release. If the problem continues, try deleting the FB app (tap and hold it until it wiggles, tap the "x" to delete), then redownload it.

Why does the cloud icon not appear in safari

iMac, Safari Version 6.0 (8536.25), OS 10.8.1.
Safari doesn't have the cloud icon, though I am signed into iCloud, and Safari is turned on in iCloud. I am using iCloud to sync contacts and that works. But when I try to turn on the sync of notes I get told to go to the app store and get the latest iOS. Which I already have... (Open the App Store and update to the latest version of OS X. After updating, you can turn on Mail and Notes.)
The app store has no new OS X of course.
Any ideas?

Thanks, the option is there in Customize Toolbar and it is set to appear on the toolbar, it just doesn't appear.
Although... The iPad can now collect the tabs.
Am I misunderstanding this? Are tabs on the iPad not supposed to be visible on the iMac?

Why does the Amount slider of Camera's RAW Detail Panel revert to 0 when opening a Smart Object in Photoshop?

I use CS6 on a Mac running 10.6.8. I edit images in RAW, then covert to a Smart Object for final editing in Photoshop. I've noticed the image in Photoshop is not sharp, and when I check by returning to RAW, I can see that just the Amount slider (Detail Panel) has reverted to 0, but the other sliders are as I have set them.
Does anyone know what may cause this problem and how to solve it?

This behavior happens only on Mac desktop computer, not on my Mac laptop running the same CS6.
After I've edited an ACR file (including sharpening in the Detail panel), I change the file into a PSD Smart Object to complete my edit by clicking on "Open Object". I immediately notice this PSD file is not sharp. If I click on the bottom right of the image icon to return to the RAW file, I find the Amount slider in the Detail Panel has changed from the sharpening amount I gave it, to 0.
If I do the exact same thing on my laptop (running a duplicate of the same Photoshop CS6), this behaviour does not happen. The image remains sharp as a PSD file, and if I check by returning to ACR, the Amount slider has maintained its setting.
Anything more you need?

That's because your mail account is a POP account. That means that even when you delete or read a message on one of your devices, it stays unread on the server. If you log in to your mail account on the website and delete the messages, they won't be coming to your devices any longer. But the once which already came to your iPad must be deleted manually.

The details are that my first time user impression is that Firefox is a liar, or that the web page is developed by liars; or that the program doesn't function well as it said that my Firefox was out of date, but the link to fix the problem said that is was up to date. So, the only purpose of the statement that it was out of date was to get me to register, and that the company doesn't care what I think about it. I am totally open to another logical explanation. I mean you could give me an illogical explanation based on emotion but I'll just reject it and then uninstall Firefox because, well, that should be obvious.
