I have an old Panasonic X400 which I can send pictures to my Notebook , but when I try with my Nokia E71 , I get No connection , has anyone else had this problem ? and how can I fix ?
The Bluetooth has the same problems , although sometimes it can find my computer ,but not allow me to send pictures to it ?
has anyone else had this problem ?

Hi! ive had my mac for over a year and I have never been able to set up imessage. It does not even give me the option to and ive updated my software multple times. I have ichat but it does not connect to my phones contacts or work at all like imessage.

Be sure it is really a 3rd gen. Some people with 2nd gens were told they were 3rd gens. Identifying iPod models or Look up specs by Serial Number. If it is a 2nd gen, then you can't upgrade.
IF IT REALLY IS A THIRD GEN iPod Touch, then you first need to upgrade to iTunes 10.5 in order to download iOS 5 because older versions of iTunes don't support and can't sync with iOS 5.

Why does front row not have simple organization?

I currently have a hard drive hooked into my macmini which is hooked up to my TV. On my hard drive I have over 1000 movies, all purchased through iTunes. However when I use front row and i goto the movie section, I have to scroll through every movie to get to the one I want. There's no way to scroll by letter, only one by one. This is horrible and takes forever. Can apple do an update that makes the right button on the apple remote for scrolling letter by letter. For example, you click the right button to goto movies starting with B, C, D, E, F, etc. Then the down button for one by one scrolling. Also, why does front row not have genres? AppleTV does. Why not incorporate that into front row? Think, Apple, Think.

You can have sub-folders in the Movies folder and arrange your movies alphabetically that way.

The Settings > General > Software Update option only appears when you have iOS 5+ installed, if you have iOS 4 then you will need to do the update via your computer's iTunes.
To update, connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases. You may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
Then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button

If you are stuck on that screen and can't get out of it, reboot the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Assuming that you have iCloud backups turned on .... go to Settings>iCloud>Storage and Backup>Backup Now.

Do you get any response from the computer when you plug the phone in? I'm guessing that you are going into Computer to see if you find the phone? If you go into Device Manager, do you see any errors in the USB area?

Why does my Macbook not choose the 5Ghz network?

Hi there! Can anyone tell me why, if I have a dual band simultaneous Airport Extreme and iStumbler says I have a 58% 5 bar 5Ghz on channel 100 signal right at the top of the list of available networks and the other examples from my network are 45% and 42% on the 2.4Ghz band - then why does my Macbook insist on choosing one of the lesser signal strength networks to log in to? I am extending my network via an Airport Express in the bedroom and I think it is that which is showing the highest signal (probably as it it considerably closer than the Extreme where I am sat right now!). Just wondered, doesn't seem very dual band to me if it never connects to the better band? Don't want to force it to connect to 5Ghz as that's not required, at the moment it chooses.

Chances are that the extended network is using the 2.4 GHz radio band as this band allows for greater range. Remember that the AirPort Express can only operate in one band or the other. It is not a simultaneously dual-band device like your Extreme.
