Why does the itunes update 11.4 get denied at about 90% completion of installation

When I try to install update 11.4 the installation proceeds until about 90% complete and then I get a "access denied" box.

For "Object already exists" or "Access denied" errors when installing try opening Control Panel > Programs and Features > View installed updates then checking for Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2918614). Uninstall if you have it, then reboot, and try installing iTunes again.

iTunes 10.4 and Safari 5.1 contain more than 'just' the OSX Lion-release but stability and security improvements as well.
For example, here is http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1070 what the Safari 5.1 contains.
In here http://www.apple.com/macosx/uptodate/ I can't find an "end-date" for the download of the Lion installer.
Nonetheless, personaly I would download the Lion installer and then copy it (from your Apllications folder) to a secure place (backup harddisk, external hardisk etc.).
When your IT gives it a go you can then use te Lion installer from inside the Applications folder, but I would also say to make a bootable clone of your current OSX Snow Leopard before starting the Lion installation.

The thing is, the music does not cease prior to the slideshow start. Or At least it doesn't cease on my ATV.
I do have Flickr set as screensaver indeed, but having to change screensaver settings to watch a new slideshow is just plain annoying IMO.
Ane the fact that the music plays when a screensaver slideshow is active is a proof that technically the ATV could support the feature.

Ralph9430 offers a good suggestion. But you may need to do this before taking his advice:
Check in iPhoto's Preferences (which you can open from the iPhoto menu). Look in General, and make sure "Connecting Camera Opens" is set to "Image Capture").
If it is set to "iPhoto", you won't be able to get to Image Capture easily.

This happened to me on Sunday as well. Your music for itunes is kept in a different folder from the itunes application itself. So if you download itunes again it only updates the application and "shouldn't" delete your music files. It worked okay for me and didn't lose any of my ripped files.

Alright so here is the issue. When I first started using iTunes I created my AppleID. I locked it in to remember my password and authorize my computer so that I would NEVER HAVE TO ENTER IT AGAIN. So years pass, no problem. Then "ITUNES 11" come on everyone lets upgrade or you can't proper use the iTunes Store. Seriously it wouldn't let me access the store. Go Figure. About a year passes and I try again this time upgrading iTunes through a COMPLETE fresh install, again I did what had done the first time I logged my AppleID and reauthorized my computer. Hurrah other than getting use to the new UI it ran perfectly. Yes Finally! Right? Again.... No. No more than 2 or 3 software updates later suddenly my password for my AppleID is incorrect I was like "Okay?" and re-entered it thinking the big update cleared my settings.

So I go through the process to create a new password successfully and reset my AppleID in iTunes with the new password. This has been going on for the better part of 3 years I have almost completely dropped iTunes which has the better store library for Goggle Play Music who's store library isn't even a third the size iTunes has because their system works and my log-in is my e-mail. I repeatedly completely uninstalled iTunes and wiped it from my registry in hope a clean install would fix the problem but it never does.
My OS is Vista Home Premium Edition 32-bit and no picking on my OS I been working to get a new computer but that isn't happening anytime soon so I work with what I got.

Even removing the .xml files doesn't make a difference. Also, I now installed another update of iTunes, but still having the same problem, and this time there are no .xml files or preference files whatsoever in the Application Data and Local Settings\Application Data iTunes folders. I have the problem as well. It is NOT a locked account problem.
The problem is new with the 11.0.3 update and may be related to Mountain Lion (I finally updated).
If I quit iTunes, restart, and enter the password, it recognizes the password and continues. If I do the password reset routine (I have now created FIVE new passwords since the 11.0.3 update!), it accepts the new password. I suspect it's a poor coding practice inside iTunes, aggrevated by the address space randomisation added in Mountain Lion.

I have encountered this problem since Christmas. When I open the itunes and want to search the apps I have downloaded, and it keeps showing these apps free or with a price instead of downloaded. However, I have not encountered this problem in my iphone. This problem makes me confused that whether I have downloaded the app if I do not check the "Purchased".
Like the following one, even though I have downloaded the app, it shows the price to me instead of "downloaded".
