Why does the Notes app keep crashing?

Does anybody know why the app 'Notes', that comes standard with OS X Mountain Lion, keeps crashing everytime I try and open it?? I hope the people at Apple figure this problem out soon...all my notes from my classes are on that app!!!

In order to analyze your issue better, we need more detailed information.
Did you mean when you launch the Windows store app, the app can't start? Was there any prompt message or error code? Did this issue occur on all Windows Store app or specific one?

Why does the Notes app want Keychain access?

Does anyone know why Notes wants keychain access? It started when I downgraded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. The dialong also won't accept 'no' for an answer. If I select "Deny" it just repeats the question and the only options are to close the program or allow access. Since it doesn't allow secure notes, why does it need the keychain, and why present a dialog with no choices?

Try going to Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access/Secure Notes and see if there is an entry there. If so, you'll need to decide if you want to keep it or not.

Why does the shockwave player keep crashing when I play farmville 2 on both the facebook and zynga websites?

I play farmville 2 on both the zynga and facebook websites. My shockwave player keeps crashing and is a very slow to load the game. This happens on all of the browsers I have used. Google chrome works better than some, firefox, icedragon and IE all are very slow to load the game and this take a lot of enjoyment out of the actual game play. Please help figure this out. I even keep clearing the cache and history, this does not help out much either.

Why does my Photos App keep crashing?

I have a 4G Ipod Touch. 4 or 5 days ago I went to upload a picture to my facebook using the Facebook App, and when I clicked upload from library, the app crashed. I tried it again, and it crashed again. I then closed out of my Facebook App and tried opening my Photos App (The one that comes pre-loaded) and I can get to the albums, which shows Photo Stream or Camera Roll, and when I click on one or the other, the app crashes. I've tried restarting my ipod, didn't work. I just restored my ipod, and it didn't work either. This is really frusterating me, can anyone help please?

Why does my iTunes app keep crashing on my iPhone 4S.

My phone is up to date with iOS 7.0.2 but I try to open iTunes store and it just crashes... Help. I already checked my date and time it is current.

We are now on the third hard drive, the second in 5 months. The problem started after I dropped book on it, but no repairmen have suggested that has anything to do with it.

Hard drives don't fail often, but they do occasionally
They fail, and often, and new ones fail a LOT more than older ones (sounds silly, but logical)

Ironically but logical, new hard drives are far more fragile than one that has been working for several months or a couple years. So beware in your thinking that a new hard drive translates into “extremely reliable”!
Hard drives suffer from high rates of what has been termed "infant mortality". Essentially this means new drives are highly prone to failing in the first few months of usage. This is because of very minor manufacturing defects or HD platter balancing, or head and armature geometry being less than perfect; and this is not immediately obvious and can quickly manifest itself once the drive is put to work.
Hard drives that survive the first few months of use without failing are likely to remain healthy for a number of years.
Generally HD are highly prone to death or corruption for a few months, then work fine for a few years, then spike in mortality starting at 3-4 years and certainly should be considered end-of-life at 5-7+ years.
The implication of this is that you should not trust a new hard drive completely (really never completely!) until it has been working perfectly for several months.
Given the second law of thermodynamics, any and all current mfg. HD will, under perfect storage conditions tend themselves to depolarization and a point will be reached, even if the HD mechanism is perfect, that the ferromagnetic read/write surface of the platter inside the HD will entropy to the point of no return for data extraction. HD life varies, but barring mechanical failure, 3-8 years typically.

Pogster, yes thanks for the heads up but if enough of us post (and help each other), it trends and surely Apple gets the message.
Interestingly the problem appeared again when I started iTunes with iPhone connected. All ok when i started without it connected (and used the previous fix) and have just imported a new CD without any crashes. Plugged in the iPhone and just synced/backed up OK.
Perhaps a wild guess, but the latest iPhone upgrade is checking on the 'originality' of the connection cable.

Why does the Messages app keeps asking me to locate iChat?

When opening Messages I'm prompted with a dialog window that says "where's ichat?", and is waiting for me to locate it in my Applications folder. Can anyone shed some light on why I'm getting this message? I thought Messages replaced iChat.

Can you Screen Shot the Alert and post it here ?
CMD + Shift + 4 allows you to draw a box around what you want.
Hitting the space bar allows you to capture windows (alerts and other pop ups count) Then press enter.
You post by clicking the camera icon in the post mode screen and navigating to where the pic is (normally your Desktop)
It sounds like it might be the .plist is holding an item that is about an Add-on that in turn is looking for iChat.
Chax only goes as far as Snow Leopard so that one is unlikely.

Yahoo! partnered with Apple to allow an IMAP style offering on the iPhone, free of charge for their users. However that feature is only available if you use the iPhone. If you want IMAP/POP access on computers then you'd need to upgrade to the Plus level account.

What is the crash notice you receive? OS X is very good about keeping extensive, detailed crash logs. If you launch Applications > Utilities > Console.app and open the "User Diagnostic Reports" group on the left, can you drag the most recent Audition crash report into an e-mail to [email protected] ? The contents of that file should make it more clear to us why Audiiton or the OS thinks a crash is happening and will help focus troubleshooting.

Me too, ipad mini can't get YouTube app to function via the official app and the same error message," ...tap to retry", but to no avail. The app launches but it will not allow me to sign in. The drop arrow just tilts up and down and ...nothing. I can still access YouTube through Safari browser but strange, I can't find a solution to the app not opening or being able to sign in on either ipad mini or phone even though they are up to date apps.
