Why does the same clip play differently each time I play it?

Playing a flash animation clip in Adobe Media Player plays differently each time I play it. I'm looking at animation we made that has a left to right move. Sometimes it plays smoothly, other times it stutters, but the stutters happen at different points each time I play it, and the amount of stuttering changes each time I play it. I'm trying to decide if the file is acceptable to post on the web, so I'm playing the same 34 second file from my hard drive, each time in succession, yet each play is different. Boy, if you can help me with this I would sure appreciate it, as it is driving me crazy. (The same thing happens on other flash players). And no, the file isn't haunted...

Hello and thank you for trying to help me out. When I click on the itunes icon on my desktop, it does the preparing to install.... on my laptop, when I click on the icon, itunes opens automatically. I really can't figure out why one does this and the other does not.
Apparently, I was not having trouble connecting to the itunes store like I thought. Many other people complain of the same problem I had---the connecting to the itunes store progress bar goes halfway, stops, and then all I see is a blank white page that says itunes store. Well, after playing around, and clicking on VIEW and SHOW sidebar browser, I was able to see the itunes store! Yay!! It was so simple, it was unreal that so many people are having the same problem I thought I was having, connecting, when all that was was a VIEW issue.
As far as my desktop doing the preparing to install, I don't get it. I have uninstalled itunes9 and redownloaded it, reinstalled it. Same problem. Preparing to install. No matter what itunes icon I click on, or even if I click ont he application itself from it's folder. Any ideas?
So just forget about my connection problem---it was not a problem after all. Yet one pc does preparing to install when the itunes icon is clicked on, and the other pc does not. Both are running windows vista home premium. One is a desktop, one a laptop. I can't figure it out.

Why does the same RGB color appear lighter in one ai file and darker in another?? I want to use the more vibrant color, but when I try to reproduce the same RGB color code in another Adobe Illustrator (ai) file, it shows up darker. I printed the two files out, and you can see the difference in the print too. I exported the color orginally as an eps file from an ArcGIS map.

You illustrator files may have different color profiles attached.
Set to show your color profile in the bottom left of each document by using the flyout menu >> show >> document color profile
Then you can use edit >> assign profile to get them the same
Yours are quite far off for RGB (which are usually close to each other for many profile due to wide gamut). I question as Jacob did if one of your documents are in CMYK mode. Look in parenthesis after the document name at top of window.
Check if view > proof setup is the same (do not use the uncoated profile as in my screenshot, that was only there cause of my testing)
Make sure view >> proofs colors is checked or unchecked for both.
To get them to print the same, check these settings are the same
Sorry for all the screenshots, but hopefully one day we will see Adobe's complex color management united all in one window.

Sometimes the exact same song will have two different prices when it appears on two different albums.
For one of many examples, "Concrete Angel" is 99 cents when it's on "Greatest Hits":

Try these basic things and see if the keyboard goes away for good.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

You need to check the software you run.
Some officially supported and sold Mac versions of software use Wine for porting in some fashion or another. If some program you are running is spawning these Wine processes, its probably buggy and not shutting down correctly.
How to figure out which are Wine and which are not...?
Well if its a Cider ported game, you just see if there is a Cider logo on the game.
If its Wineskin ported, theres no super easy way to tell, depending on how much its been modified, but you can look inside the app (right click and "Show Package Contents") and go to Contents/MacOS and see if Wineskin executable is in there. Unless its a very old version of Wineskin it shouldn't be able to hang like that without major issues int he Windows software running in it, and I don't know any any company would release it if it was that buggy.
If its WineBottler Ported, you'll notice quickly because it launches X11 and runs the windows under X11... of course not all X11 apps are Wine, but if you have a program that launches and runs in X11.app then you can look inside it at Contents/MacOS to see if its Wine related.
It could also be Crossover, or a Crossover port of software... you'd have to dig around inside of its app too to see if it looked like one of those.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details like the install log. If it always stops at the same spot, something specific happens like waiting for a specific user input, running out of disk space or simply triggering some external process like a virus scanner that may block the install, but never properly produces a warning dialog.

So essentially when I try to reverse one clip of two of the same clips it reverses both of them instead of just the one I selected. I've tried renaming it too and it didn't work. Thanks so much for your answers!

This happens because multitrack mode in Audition is essentially a very posh file player. If you have a file that plays in one direction, then it's simply not possible for the same file to play backwards at the same time - the engine can't do that! When you think you're playing two separate clips, you almost certainly aren't - this is just two playback instances of essentially the same file/clip.
There is a simple solution though; create a second (physically unique) copy of the clip and place that as the reversed one. Then you can have one clip playing in one direction, and the other clip playing in the opposite one.

As I mentioned in my post, Tushar correctly pointed out that, without a GPU accelerated card (which I don't have - mine is a piece of junk which I will be replacing with a compatible one soon) you must use the software only settings. I had changed my project over to the 'software only' setting, and I still had the problem. The value Tushar added was the procedure for clearing the cache.
What I did originally was a newbie error, no argument. I posted it here for others who may fall in the same hole. Your reply confirms that, without a GPU accelerated card, use the software only settings (sounds so obvious, yet I missed it.....).

I am opening the same pdf file on two different computers with the same version of photoshop. Why does it open with a transparent background on one computer and a white background on the other? Is there any way to force it to open with a transparent background? Thanks.

You have different versions of the shared PDF libraries on the different systems and/or different settings on PDF handling, most likely. This can affect transparency. The PDF libraries are shared between Adobe apps, so this may be dependent on anotehr program having changed something in that area...

Why does the unedited clip appear in the Zoom Navigator in Waveform View?

It's a case of trimming heads and tails, I guess. In Multitrack I highlighted the bit at the end of a clip I wanted to cut, and made the cut, no problem. Then I did the same at the beginning of the clip, no problem. Then I took the clip into Waveform View. It displayed the properly edited clip, but the Zoom Navigator shows the original, unedited clip. I see no reason to have that available after I've done my edits, do you? So my question is: Is there a way to dump the bits I don't want, leaving only the edited clip? I mean, I've got two tracks three minutes long, and the session is 2.5 GB in size. Ridiculous.

Kost7. I haven't tried your method yet because I haven't figured out how to use the slip tool and markers yet. However, I came up with another way that works. (I'm working with two tracks recorded simultaneously in Multitrack - an hour of vocal and guitar; I want to cut out segments and create a new session for each song.)
1 In Multitrack, highlight the portion you want.
2 Take it into Waveform Editor.
3 Click Edit>Copy to New, then Edit>Insert Into Multitrack Session
4 Repeat the procedure with the next track. The next new copy that gets inserted into Multitrack will be aligned with the first, because Audition automatically inserts stuff into MT at the current time position. As long as the highlighted portion stays the same, alignment is assured.
Whatcha think? How does that compare to your own method? I'm assuming that because you're using time markers that it's both more time-consuming and more failsafe.
What I like about this method is that it's about as straightforward as how I used to do things in AA3.

I have 2 soft pulls from the same collection. I don't want to call them and they are located in florida. I am located in CT. most of my previous collections were either from NY or CT. why don't they just call or mail me the bill to my house. I am also afraid to call because since they are doing soft pulls it might be a huge bill. The dates of the soft pulls are in Sept 2013 and Dec 2014. All this info came from annual credit report .com

Did you check to make sure the Repeat button wasn't turned on? To do this, while the song is playing tap the screen (cover art) to reveal the additional controls (see image below). Then tap the Repeat button until it turns white (white is off, blue is on).
