Why does the website bar no longer show on firefox and why am i no longer able to get a search engine and firefox symbol/logo on each tab i open.

All the other versions of firefox used to have a website bar on the top and you used to be able to open a new tab and have multiple websites open at a time and on each one you opened get a firefox symbol/logo and a search engine or website bar however that's no longer the case I don't know if its the new version or not. I used to also be able to do a search and open multiple websites in multiple tabs however that's no longer the case I don't know if its a bug or if its something new with firefox or newer versions.

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"

When I send a group email why does the address bar not present the names alphabetically?

I frequently send emails to groups. Sometimes, for one reason or another, I want to delete one or more contacts from the list that appears in the address bar. Why does the list not appear in alphabetical order and is there any way that I can edit my contact lists to make it do so? It means picking through a list one by one rather than scrolling down a list to find a contact in the correct order.

Basically I suggest you keep using Eudora.
Like most of those moving now, they are unlikely to be happy with anything else. But then that is to be expected, you have clung to abondonware for 5+ years after it's replacement. People that dedicated are unlikely to be happy with anything else.
The Business standard and professionalism are not based on the Eudora way of things. I suggest you stick undisclosed-recipients: into a google search box and get instructions on how to do things for all the major mail clients.
Of note Thunderbird displays nothing in the To field, even though the undisclosed-recipients: is inserted in the outgoing mail.

I am interested however how when you added a list so it appears on multiple lines. All I see is he list name until after I press the send button and look at it in the sent folder.
Most people use another address entirely in the to:, in conjunction with the BCC list. It verifies the list mail is sent by coming back and you can put whatever you like in the display name of the email address.

Why does the download bar not show the 0 :)

In Adobe Reader X on web browser (french version), for instance the file is loading, when it comes to 1.16 it first do 1.1 -> 1.2 -> et cetera, it should normally be 1.01 , 1.02 , etc.
It really doesn't matter, but I feel like this is no good =) .

Adobe Reader installs files in the order it needs according to the last complete patch program needed. Sometimes Adobe will have serial patches like 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and then later have one large installer like 1.1 that incororates all the patches up to that point. I would not worry about how it it installs the files.

Why does the location bar only perform searches, even typing about:config just returns a google search for "about:config"

My location bar will only perform web searches and no longer takes the browser directly to web address entered manually. for example typing "about:config" returns the results of a google search for "about:config", typing "http://www.gawker.com" does not take me to gawkers website but rather returns google search results for "http://www.gawker.com".

Or maybe your ISP is doing the redirect, but that is doubtful since you're getting two different redirect addresses (unless you are using two different ISP's).

Why does the Safari PDF viewer plugin show up in mission control?

Whenever I swipe to activate mission control the PDF viewer plugin of Safari shows. This obviously doesn't happen if I do not have a tab with a PDF active in the browser, but why does it show anyway? I have tested Firefox and Chrome and their PDF plugins do not show in the mission control view, so why does Safari's? How can I get rid of this? It makes loading expose' view a little choppy (compared to when I dont have to use a PDF in Safari) and looks weird. I have attached an image of how this looks.

Why does the correct return address not show up on outgoing messages?

Windows NT
iPlanet Messaging Server 5.1
iPlanet Directory Server 4.13
One user recently went through an account change (spam reasons).
old uid: bob
old email: [email protected]
new uid: bsmith
new email: [email protected]
The problem is, that during testing, any email sent from the new account is arriving as having both the <Return-path> and <From> fields with the old email address.
Keep in mind that this is not a client-specific problem as everything has been changed correctly (outlook) If an email goes from "Clients computer" >> "3rd party smtp server" >> "Hotmail" or the like, it shows up as having the correct return address.
But the pickle I'm in, is that if an email goes from "Clients computer" >> "3rd party smtp server" >> "Our Server" , it shows up as having the OLD return address. - same thing if messages are sent internally (same server) through the webmail interface. The messaging server is somehow rewriting the email field when any message goes through it.
What makes this a super-pickle is that this is a NEW account., not just a 'change' of the old one. The old account has been deleted, and the command 'imadmin user purge' doesn't find it, nor is there any reference to the old 'bob@' address in the ldif file except for an address book entry or two (other users have added 'bob' into their address book)
Any help is greatly appreciated in advance. Sorry for the long description, but now all the bases I've covered are known.

I only mentioned SIMS 4.0 because I jumped directly from that to MS 6.0p1, and because what my customers wanted to do worked on SIMS and doesn't on MS6.
To complicate things more, my customer has multiple domains, but not all employees have e-mail addresses in both domains. For example, Joe is [email protected], Jane is [email protected], and John wants mail sent to either [email protected] or [email protected] to come to him.
I dealt with this by setting up abc & xyz as separate domains, and created a mailing list in xyz.com named "john" with an external member of [email protected] While this works fine, when I add an alias to that mailing list of "[email protected]" and John tries to send a message with "[email protected]" in the From, it is rewritten to [email protected] as that is his primary e-mail address.
In looking at the LDAP entries of mailing lists that are not working as I'd like, I see that the aliases are specified as mailAlternateAddress attributes. Are you saying that if I change these to MailEquivalentAddress attributes that they will then show up in the From unchanged?
Oh, and one more possible factor - they are sending mail using SMTP AUTH as they are roving users. Since the mail server knows that the authenticated user is truly [email protected], is that why his From of [email protected] gets nuked?

according to your illustrations you have two different Printers setup.
Unfortunately, in Acrobat 9 the Page setup Dialog does not function it shows any printer. I've explained here.

IF this is Acrobat 9 - I have sent back bug reports, I've posted in Fedback forum (not discussion Forum) about this as well. I have yet to see an answer to the problem. What you need to do is on the 2nd one that has the different dialog is set that to the same printer as in the first.
IF page setup does work in your version of Acrobat make sure that while in acrobat choose correct printer then in page attributes click and choose save as default. That way acrobat will always default to this setup to start with when opening Acrobat.
Another thing you can try is if you have removed a printer and added a new printer go to Printer Utility, and remove the old printer. If you have added a printer make the new printer the default Printer.

Why does the nav bar move in a browser??

Please help! In dreamweaver the nav bar looks perfect and is over the top of the blue line under the picture header but when I put it in a browser, it moves as you can see from my link!!

Look this is not a good solution, it just hacks around the issue.
Add this to the css style:

Now let me explain. You're trying to position elements using <br> tags which will not work. The solution I provided is a sticking plaster one and may fail in some browsers because it still relies on guess work.
A far better option would be to rebuild that top section of your page into a solid structure.
A <div> which contains the grass bank and sky image but NOT the blue line that your navigation sits on. You can set this <divs> height to the height of the image and then include your text 'Complete Energy Certificates Ltd' within it.
Like:

Why does my website on my iphone show outdated pages?

I'm having a strange problem with my iphone5. It's actually happening with my ipads too.
Several pages on my website, but not all pages are displaying an old version of the site page in the browser. It's like some pages (including the home page) is stuck in an old cache of those pages.
I use Wordpress with an Atahualpha theme and am up-to-date on all. I have emptied all caches everywhere including the iphone's Safari data. I've disabled my plugins as a test too, but it's still happening.
Strange thing is that my desktop iMacs display the correct, up-to-date versions of those site pages. It's not my home networking because it happens even when I turn off Wi-Fi.
Can anyone suggest how to troubleshoot this?

FWIW, I have traced this particular problem to Wordpress itself, and the caching plug-in in use. In my case, it is WP SuperCache. I am still investigating the parameters, but this is most definitely the source of the problem.

Why does the bottom bar in pages for ipad hide my typing?

When I type enough text to scroll to the bottom of the screen on Pages for my iPad, the new (and redundant) tool bar hides the text. I have to manually scroll the text every time I find myself at the bottom of the screen. This only happens when I am using my Apple keyboard with the iPad. Extremely annoying!
I can't believe I am the only iPad user, with an auxiliary keyboard, who is experiencing this glitch. I have been to see the "genius" – no joy. Tried everything I can think of. Anybody who can help me either get the text to scroll before going under the toolbar, or cancel the toolbar all together. (It doesn't add any features, since all the tools are available from the top of the screen.)

Why can't I download PDF files, and why does the "spinning beach ball" keep showing up?

I have a late 2008 iMac, 3.06 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 500 Gig Hardrive, and I'm using OS X 10.6.8. In addition, there are three external drives - 750 G Maxtor, 1T Maxtor, and 1T LaCie for Time Machine. There are only 20 Gigs left of space on the internal hard drive. The two problems I continue to have are that PDF files are not visible when I click on the download link, and I keep seeing the "spinning beach ball" when I'm trying to work with photos in iPhoto '09 or Lightroom 4.1. Sometimes it seems like the system is waiting for the 750 G external drive to activate before the beach ball disappears. Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?

Why does the blue bar when you're downloading go back to the start half way through?

When downloading half way through it restarts downloading I have waited over an hour and a half and still hasn't finished downloading, I have also tried restarting the iPad. Can someone please help me.

If you are trying to download via 3G there is a 20MB limit I think. You can download to iTunes on your computer and then sync to transfer the app. I don't have a 3G iPad but you may be able to download directly on the iPad with WiFi instead of 3G.

Why does the website ok cupid no longer load properly?

This site does not load pictures, only text. I worked fine until about a month ago.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.
