WHY does updating apps have to be so convoluted?

Question

Okay so I've got a bunch of apps needing new updates, which the "App Store" notifies me of with it's icon on the iPad. Plugging the iPad into my computer supposedly there's a way to update these in iTunes? Oh nooooo.... You can't update apps like you would update your podcasts, or music, calendars, etc. etc. No that would make too much sense! Instead you HAVE to do it on the iPad. And then what? The iPad will update iTunes on the computer?
Doesn't make sense Apple.

Really? Then why when you get an email notifying you that a post was deleted does the email read "Deleted by Apple"?
The forums are moderated by some Apple employees. These moderators are doing forum administrative jobs one of which is to monitor for posts which violate the Terms of Use as is, unfortunately, necessary on any public forum. (i.e., spam, flames, trolls, speculation, abuse, etc.). See the Terms of Use for details.
Sometimes, an Apple employee might visit the forums to get some insight to how a product is doing or, possibly, correct misinformation, but this isn't a regular or predictable occurrence. I, myself, have never seen this happen.
The bottom line is that, if you want problems reported so they are seen by those who can fix them, then report them to http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html. This mechanism also supports a way for Apple to contact you if they need more information to solve a problem.
