Why does Verizon NOT offer the Samsung Note Edge?

I would really like to have this handset. I have gotten so many responses from Verizon employees, "Because of the curved screen, if you drop it, you'll break it" (Duh? Isn't this true of just about any handset depending on the surface and height?), "Verizon and Samsung could not reach contract agreements on this device" (Huh?), "It is a mail-order only item" ( I would have called him on that but my contract still has a month to go; I may try next month after my contract expires). Really, Verizon, at least get the SAME story out to all your employees!
I'll either have to get a Note 4 (not a bad handset, just isn't an Edge) or switch to T-Mobile to get a Note Edge (NOT going to AT&T!).

The edge is coming to Verizon. It has passed FCC so we are just waiting for Verizon to release it.
Verizon doesn't think it should give info to its customers so we are left guessing on a date.
The current speculation ( again because VZW refuses to communicate) is around the 21st.

Thanks for the zip code pfekete. I looked into the coverage in your area and I do see you are in an extended 1X data coverage which explains why you're not connecting to 3G. What phone do you have? We may be able to advise you on how to adjust the settings so it picks up the strongest signal. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Verizon wi fi for hot spots does not work with Windows 8. For verification go to FAQs about Verizon Wi-Fi for FiOS Internet,
http://www.verizon.com/Support/Residential/Internet/fiosinternet/networking/setup/wi-fi/124650.htm , and click on How do I know if my laptop or netbook is compatible with Verizon Wi-Fi? . Verizon wireless home network does work well with Windows 8.
Since you can't even download the wi fi for hot spots software if you have Windows 8, I don't know how to use compatability mode to get around the problem,

Why does Verizon not allow unlock bootloaders?

So I been wondering why is it Verizon is blocking the bootloaders on Android phones, when you have manufacturers unlocking them for the users who are paying a ridiculous amount for the phones to begin with. I was hoping to see the droid phones unlocked, and motorola is living up to their end by unlocking them, but it seems Verizon is being difficult about it. I think since we do pay a ridiculous amount of money for the phones we should at least have that abililty.
I find it odd that it is no problem to the rest of the world, who seem to get their updates quicker as well. But over here Verizon has a issue,

Yeah actually using go launcher on my phone, and one of the neat features it has it allowed me to hide the bloatware, so at least it's a little more helpful. Yeah I'm glad google is finally wanting to get somewhat of a handle on the bloatware, that's one of the reasons I am really looking forward to the new nexus phone coming to Verizon. I am half tempted to use the "r word" heaven forbid people use the word and want to have complete control of their phone lol.

Obviously 4G is a popular question yet Verizon Wireless avoids it like the plague in their frequently asked questions... What is Verizon afraid of? Iphone 4 for Verizon will not work on a 4G network. Plain and simple. Why can't the company that provide me my services not be up front with its own customers?
OMG!

the iPhone 4 is a 3G phone... even on at&t and every other network around the world. so why would they need to be "up front" about something that doesn't exist? unless i'm not understanding what you/re saying.

On numerous occasions I've needed to chat with someone online with Verizon, thinking I was going to "chat" and get some help they are closed in the evenings. I live on the Pacific Coast it's 9:30 pm, chat is not available??? Come on Verizon!
I also have a question with regards to anyone who has a single line.a single. I have 2gb data,
unlimited messaging with $10.00 for insurance each month, with a discount of 20.00 each moth because of where I work, my bill is $100.00 with it being sometimes a bit more? It seems absurd to me to have such a large bill for 1 phone with a single line. I also never go ever my data or anything else.
Can someone please tell me if they are in a similar situation and if they have a bill that is also that high?

There is not CDMA. Unless Samsung makes a CDMA variant and strikes a deal with Verizon it isn't happening. Well VoLTE can fix the issue however it doesn't support the 700 and 1700/2100(AWS) bands for LTE.
WCDMA is UMTS(GSM) and not CDMA don't confuse them.

Why would Verizon not replace my Samsung Galaxy S5 that is not performing the way I need it to?

My Samsung Galaxy S5 will not allow me to have my corporate exchange email and my personal .com email on it at the same time. I have spent hours on the phone with Verizon technical support as well as Samsung and according to both, the phone will not allow it and the only thing I can do is to pay for a "touchdown" application to manage my emails. If the phone does not allow such a simple function that all other phones seem to do, why would Verizon not sympathize and replace the phone with something that would work for me. I been a loyal customer for over 8 years and the only thing I was told was that "the system would not allow them" to swap out the phone with something else. Unbelievable. Has anyone else had a similar issue?

I have the 6500A without plus and it is with a LAN cable connected with my Router.
First make sure you have the latest printer firmware installed.
Next restart the printer and the Router.
I had the same. Problem but it went away after rebooting the Router.

Sorry, it's because Firefox 4+ are only compiled for the Intel processors.

Well, the format I upload from the camera is "video clip" or "video for Windows"...sometimes I've converted them to avi format, too. But as I said, it never even lets me get that far...I never get to even select a clip. As soon as I tell the program to "import/clip" it freezes up before I can even go to the folder that the clips are in. It has only begun to do this recently, and I'd never had any problems like this before. Last night I tried it again, and I clicked "open composition", and it froze when I did that too.
I'm not sure how much more specific I can be about the details of the clips, since I'm positive it has nothing to do with the clips themselves...I'm running Windows XP, though...Home Edition Service Pack 2, Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz, with 504 MB of RAM. I have had the automatic updates turned on since I did my last reformat a couple of weeks ago. Could it have something to do with some kind of an update it may have done?

When you open Firefox in Safe Mode, it automatically disables your custom settings, themes, and add-ons. THOSE changes are temporary.
However, if you click any of the boxes underneath the line, "You can make some or all of these changes permanent", and then choose "Make Changes and Restart", everything you checked will be forever changed, even when you start Firefox again in 'normal' mode. [See attached image for a preview of the Safe Mode options].
To be clear:
1. If you check any of the boxes but do NOT select "Make changes and restart", those things will not be changed at all in safe mode.
2. If you select any of the boxes and you DO select "Make changes and restart", you will permanently lose any of the items you checked (bookmarks (except for backups), user preferences, etc.).
If you performed the action in step 2 above, you will only be able to restore those things if you have a previously created back-up of your Mozilla Profiles folder (not the same as the Firefox program folder).
