Why doesn't adobe just join the AAF/Turakiri/Incommon and accept Institution credentials?
I'm just going through the academic purchase process. Talk about inefficient.
Australia and New Zealand have established Access Federations which allow students and staff to use their own institutional credentials to log into web applications.
Almost all universities and a lot of polytechs have joined these Access Federations.
Adobe would be better off enabling federated login to prove that staff and students are who they say they are rather than use the current antique approach to validating memberships of insitutions.

You can do that. You can copy the entire Music folder and create an alias for where it normally belongs. However, OS X will not allow you to delete the entire Music folder without a little extra work:
Copy the /Home/Music/ folder to the desired new location. Create an alias to the new location and put the alias in the /Home/ folder. You will now have a "Music" and a "Music alias" in your /Home/ folder. Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder. At the prompt enter:
sudo rm -rf ~/Music
Press RETURN. Enter your admin password when prompted (it will not be echoed) then press RETURN again. The old Music folder should disappear. Now rename the "Music alias" folder to "Music".

The serial number which qualifies for special offer for CC has to be :
1.CS3 & above
2. Retail product (purchased for personal usage,with only two installs permitted)
3.It can not be an Adobe product obtained as a bundle pack with purchase of any Electronic Item(e.g computer/printer/camera etc.)
4.It can not be any purchase under Educational licenses
5.It can not be any Volume License product(it is registered in www.licensing.adobe.com)
Note:An OEM(Section 3) serial number, Educational serial number, few Volume licensing Serial number prior to CS6 can be registered in Adobe.com, they still do not qualify for special price offer.

Why doesn't Adobe market an ereader device that supports PDF?

Why do I have to have my books converted to epub format, when customers would just as soon read pdfs, which would be much easier for me to create? I'm told it's because Kindle and the rest of the players aren't supporting pdf. So why doesn't Adobe support it and market it as an ereader platform? They could make money with ereader devices and marketing channels that do support pdf. Adobe's response was to bring out their ereader software, but there are too many of those platforms already. PDF on the other hand has the biggest customer base in the world. Is Adobe missing out here, being focused too exclusively on software and not aware of the kind of opening Amazon jumped on? Kindle has come from nowhere to dominate the market. Adobe could have a good share by marketing a pdf reader. Granted PDF doesn't wrap lines, but if you make the pages small, to fit in an ereader window, there are a lot of advantages to having page numbers too.

I'm also waiting for this feature.

Also, computers don't work that way either to share a connection like that. Just because you plug a device into a computer doesn't mean it can use it's internet connection that way.
Windows Mobile devices have been able to use their host USB cable to connect to the internet, since at least the year 2000. (And vice versa, more recently.)
It was actually a minor surprise at first that Apple didn't support it.

Hi,
This is how App Store app shows now when an app is downloading. If you cannot download anything, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store, remove your Apple ID, and set it again. That should work.

I have a new hp tower running windows 8.1 and have been trying to install the adobe reader. The installer downloads (1meg) and I choose to run it but it just sits with an empty screen. I've checked task manager and it takes up memory but does nothing.

That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash.
