Why doesn't Edge animation display in IE on PCs?

In this Muse project (very simple) the Edge animation doesn't display in IE on PCs. Its OK on Macs (Safari and FireFox) and on iPhone.

Just a quick questions and you may have done this but, did you employ the google chrome frame in your publish settings in EA?
What version of IE is it not working?

The same reason physical keyboards have capital letters, easier to read. If the iPad keyboard is in caps you'd know because the Shift key would be colored blue.

Could it be that you are running Windows XP? I believe there is some automatic detection of the operating system you are running, and if it is not supported by the application, it does not show up on the download page.

Why Doesn't iPod Classuc Display Music by Artist & Year?

I have a problem I'm wondering why Apple hasn't addressed this yet. I have all of my music separated by Artist and by Album. I've even went so far as to properly enter in the year that the album was released yet the iPod Classic still refuses to display my music in the order in which it was released.
Meaning ... I have several artists on my iPod and each artist has several albums. However, no matter if you enter in the "year" the album was released in it's ID3 tags (using the iTunes software), the iPod Classic will only display your music by Artist and then it will only list the albums in alphabetical order, not in order by year.
In order to get my music to display by Artist and then by Year, I have to enter the year in the album's name:
(1980) Best Hits
(1981) Year of the Dragon
I think it bites that Apple can't fix this problem.

The point was no one can give you any help on this except Apple, they would have to alter the iPod interface to do this, hence the link to feedback. Thought I would save some words and just point you that way. In the future I'm not going to touch a key to even do that, but I think your current work around is as close as you are going to get.

Why doesn't Firefox properly display a hair space (U+200A)?

Firefox recognizes most space characters, but not the hair space (U+200A). Why not? IE, Chrome, and Safari handle it just fine.

For me, it displays the same width as an em space (&emsp;,  ). I probably should have mentioned that I’m running Win XP Pro SP3 and FF 4.0 (though I got the same results with FF 3.''x'').

Why doesn't "Tab groups" display https pages and do tab group pages show the current web page or just a snapshot?

I use the tab slideshow add-on because I need to see many "sites" to monitor activities so the slideshow provides that at this time. When I saw the tab group feature, I wanted to try that because that would allow me to see all the sites on one page. I created the tab group and unfortunately can't even see each tab maybe because HTTPS is not supported. Tab group doesn't seem to show the current page; just a snap shot. I just wondered if HTTPS and active paging would be supported.

I have been wondering the same thing for the 8 years that I have been using Firefox. Also, it seems that when a printing bug is eventually fixed, a new regression bug is sometimes filed that is even worsen than the original bug that was fixed. <br />

I honestly feel that Mozilla doesn't have any developers with the talent to fix printing in Firefox. They should start from scratch and create all new printing code that is well documented and understandable by the current developers; then maybe they would be able to fix whatever bugs crop up with their own code, instead of being baffled by the code that Netscape created 16 to 17 years ago.

Why doesn't my Quicktime display video

I am using a new 15.4" MacBook Pro 2.16 with 2GB of RAM.
When I attempt to play video clips from iPhoto in Quicktime the clip launches and will play an audio track but will not display the video.
Loading the same files into my older Mac laptop the files play as expected.

The files are .AVI from my Casio EX-Z850. As regarding Quicktime I am running 7.1.3.
In addition the files run perfectly in my older PowerBook.
One thing I did not mention before is that the files actually load as black windows in iPhoto rather than containing a picture. So there may be an issue related to the importing of the files from the camera.

Why doesn't Timelines Editor display?

I followed the instruction of the Classroom in a Book to open Timeline Editor. It shows under Window (the top menu bar) that it's opened but it's no where on the screen. I open other sites, still the same. Would any one please tell me if I have done anything wrong? I'm running GoLive on Window XP. Thanks.

Anyhow, I double-click the button. It's opened but doesn't show on screen. I know it's opened because it's there under Window.

Why doesn't Muse menu display properly in Business Catalyst?

My web site is complete and ready to upload, but the menu will not display properly in Business Catalyst. Have tried multiple times and ways to place the menu and nothing seems to work. I even clear the cache before uploading. I have even tried complete upload as opposed to just the modified files. Nothing works!!! There are no warnings or asset problems. I have even tried putting the menu on a separate layer. I should mention, the menu displays perfectly in "Preview". I should also note that a highly modified menu on the Home page works perfectly! The menu that does not work is on a "Master Page." PLEASE HELP!!!

Why doesn't my animation in which SVG is created in the DOM work anymore?

used to work on earlier betas, and now don't: the SVG I put in using createElementNS is not visible. (Stopped working with beta 8, I think)
(I have problems with some other animation due to the barring of remote XUL, but this is something else. Re the remote XUL, perhaps a description of the decision shorter than the discussion for the bug would be helpful?)
...some progress: I have a collection of SVG circle elements inside an SVG group element. If the group is created dynamically using createElementNS, then the circles created dynamically (and put into the group using appendChild) are not rendered, but if the group is declared statically in the .svg file, then the dynamically created circles are shown.
...possibly related: this change (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=614724) seems to be to the right beta, and affects the apparently-misbehaving function (createElementNS), but maybe it's just coincidence.

Do you have OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. When you bought it it may still have had OS X 10.7. You would need to purchase ML from the app store.

Why doesn't each 'page's info' adhere to the settings for the plug-ins?

When I check my plugins, add ons, for updates, there are option blocks on the right that set whether or not to "Always Activate" or "Always Ask". My question is- -for every page that opens, there is a "page info" option we can check to see/check what is allowed or blocked under Permissions ... And* what the Permission 'settings' ARE for That* page. Why doesn't EVERY page display the Permissions' settings that we have Already set on the Plugins screen*(?). EVERY page has to have the permissions re-done for EVERY domain/server/site provider. Why* aren't the settings that are set on the Plugins screen Used* AS the 'Default' for every page/domain/site, etc.? Note*- if I DON'T change the permissions to "allow", for certain plugins, the page will not work*.
Also, the "Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.450.18 10.45.2.18" still* shows as "Vulnerable" After* updating (verified update*). So I found the option to 'Disable' this particular plugin. Now it displays at the bottom of the Plugin page, greyed out. However*... after updating to Java "SE7 U45" (..for 1 [One*] day ONLY, it showed as Up-to-Date, NOT vulnerable, on every 'page info' screen*) ... and Actually, it Still Does show as Up-To-Date after an Update check*..(??)... But on EVERY page info screen the "Java(TM) Platform SE7 U--Vulnerable Plugin!" is displayed (?). How can it be Up-To-Date and OK on the plugin check screen, but show as a "Vulnerable Plugin" on EVERY 'Page Info' screen?

... But I'll try to answer some of your questions ...
1- usually, "yes"* just make sure you Trust that site (if you have anti-virus, anti-malware, etc, and run a scan every week (or so) and Haven't come up with anything quarantined or removed yet, you''re probably safe there*
2- sorry, "yes", there's Always a real danger... that's why we have the anti-everything we have (right?)
3- depends on the site*. A Lot of sites don't need java at all (except to run their ads or commercials... 'targeted' or not). Adobe Flash or Shockwave should be able to handle stuff like youtube, etc (but if it doesn't*, just go into the 'Page Info' Permissions* and Allow the [Vulnerable] Java and see if that fixes it). It more than likely will.
I think it's just a matter of Time* before Adobe* Flash, and practically Every other video app/player may be marked as "vulnerable"... like Java... because every one of them CAN carry a virus or trojan to us in some imbedded format. If JAVA couldn't find a way to stop them* (hackers, etc*) they either ..1-aren't smart enough, or 2-just gave up trying to stay ahead of them... (like the 'ad' says, some-unGodly-percentage-of-machines use Java already ... so They are making Their money*... what more do they need to do, really..?). They don't care* about us or our stuff, as long as we Buy More.... but I'm a bit jaded*.

Why do my Jquery functions stop working when adding an Edge animation to my page?

I've used Edge now for a few months on several projects and it's very useful for a designer like myself to create html5 animations as quick as Flash, but I'm noticing that everytime you add edge to a page, the jqeury it uses overwrites any others on the page and breaks other jquery based widgets. Why is this?
I've had a coder friend I work with have a look at the problem and his only solution was to put the edge animation inside an iframe, which is far from ideal.
Is there a way to use Edge and still use other jquery widgets on the page? (Basically I'm using a Nivo Slider jquery fading image box further down the page, which is breaking).

With free hosting, you get what you pay for - nothing. It's
possible
that the hosting company has changed the PHP configuration

Why doesn't the current temperature display in the weather icon on the home screen?

The application works and I do have location-based services on. I'm just wondering why the icon itself does not show the current temperature. Sort of how they upgraded the clock after show the current time.
