Why doesn't FF display the subtleties of my website javscript menus, ie fade & transparency?

On every page of my website dominicrouse.com I have a javascript menu designed using Sothink DHTML Menu 9.10
Using IE and other browsers the subtleties that I incorporated display perfectly but in FF they are lost.
I am referring specifically to a slow fade up and down and a background transparency that fits neatly into each page.
Any ideas as to how I fix this?

Sorry, I can't figure out what you're seeing that different between IE, Firefox, and Chrome.
When I look at the source of the page, there are many references to file:// which, if I assume it points to your hard drive, would not be visible to others and would be blocked by Firefox's security settings. Could you double-check those areas of the page?

Why doesn't Photoshop display the full image on open?

I'm using Photoshop CC on a MacBook Pro with OS X 10.9.2 and an external monitor, and when I open an image, it is partially hidden by the display window - scroll bars appear along the sides of the image display window. It's a little annoying, but hasn't been a big problem - I can just resize the display window. However, when I run a script to place an image, the image is placed in the center of the window rather than the center of the actual image, so the placed image ends up being cropped off the base image. The images I'm using are not large, 650 x 296 pixels at 72dpi, and take up less than 1/4 of the screen at 100%.
I've tried adding scripts like http://www.ps-scripts.com/bb/download/file.php?id=10&sid=adf04fde6ee2c 103cddbc41220d6c3b3 and http://morris-photographics.com/photoshop/scripts/view-pixels.html, but they had no impact on the opening of the files.
How can I get the display window to show the entire image automatically when I open it? Thank you.

I'm not familiar with coding script - do you have a suggestion as to what I might try? The Fit to Screen script works when I open an image from Finder, but it does not activate when I run a Automate Batch. The placed image still gets cropped.

As stated by sberman, it's because the users are sharing apple id.
On each devices - settings - message - send&receive- remove or uncheck the apple ids.

Ah, that explains why i see "European Set"....
One question, Doug: Obviously, you can select only the localization there. Is this PostScript Characters for all languages? Or is it possible to switch to something like true types, e.g. "Wingdings"? (I know, bad example, but i hope you get the point)

Why doesn't Apple list the changes in iPhone updates?

Why doesn't Apple list the changes included with each iteration of iPhone updates? They always post a detailed list of changes for all other major software updates. I wonder why the same is not true for the iPhone, leaving us all guessing and wondering...

Just to add, Ansuz82 pointed out, Apple's track record is that they don't really ever give full published details about what their updates include in any of their products really. If the iPhone is your first product by Apple you may not be aware of this. To them, saying Bug Fixes is enough. If they publicly add more info, it means they really wanted to get that point out. eg: the 1.1.1 mainly just talked about iTunes WiFi store. 1.1.2 mainly talked about the Tiff exploit fixed and keyboard updates for languages. However, with all, a lot more does get changed than just the key points mentioned. And by a lot, I don't mean a lot that you will see. Have to remember, they are still ironing out the OS for the iPhone. A lot of changes to them is just cleaning up and fixing known bugs that many of us as users may not even know exisit (though we see the outcome of them when apps colide and crash each other).

Why doesn't Mozilla fix the Yahoo problem - it is a hacking issue?

Dozens of people have strongly complained about Yahoo inserting itself in Firefox and hiding itself so it cannot be removed. This has been going on for at least a month.
Why doesn't Mozilla do something to prevent Yahoo from HACKING into Firefox.? It is an obvious attempt to pre-empt people's browser of choice. Surely there is someone in the Mozilla group who can either alter the code to block Yahoo or at least come up with a solution that lets the average user remove the stupid Yahoo software.

What a pathetic joke - the instructions to remove the unwanted Yahoo search engine tell you to open up the search engine list and remove Yahoo. BUT YAHOO IS NOT DISPLAYED IT IS HIDDEN AND CANNOT BE REMOVED.
That horrible fact is what is so annoying. It is willfully hidden by either Mozilla or Yahoo forcing it down the throats of people who do not want it!!
And a search on one's entire system does not turn up any reference to Yahoo.

Has anyone encountered the below-said show- stopper. Another BIG TIME help required, will help me in tremendous fashion.
Am using Adobe RoboHelp, Version 10 and IE version being 10.
In my local machine :
1.)I have completed my technical writing courtesy Design editor
2.)Generating chm File : View -> Pods –> Single Source Layouts -> Right Click on Microsoft HTML Help -> Tagged Set as Primary Layout
3.)Generating Primary Layout : File -> Generate -> Primary Layout (Microsoft HTML Help)…
4.)Viewing Primary Layout : File -> View -> Primary Layout
Everything works FANTASTICALLY till here with the required output (as Hide, Back, Refresh, Home, Print, Options, Contents, Index, Search, Glossary and with the data contents)
Show Stopper, At my Application Server :
5.)I copy the entire robohelp project folder from my local machine to my application Server path
6.)My Application has been developed in ASP .NET, Version 4.0.
7.)Help link has been created in this application wherein here the file name of < >.chm has been linked in the code to be read from the Server’s RoboHelp project folder\!SSL!\ Microsoft_HTML_Help\
8.)I login into my above-said application -> click on the Help page -> Displays the required structure /buttons as Hide, Back, Refresh, Home, Print, Options, Contents, Index, Search, Glossary

If you looked at the error message and searched the forum, you should find the answer as this is a problem that started in 2005. You should not run CHM files from a server and cannot without editing the users registry. See the page below.

Using Reader 9.2. I have Page Display setting in Preferences set to 'Single Page Continuous'. Yet when I open a pdf, the Page Display is set to 'Single Page' instead of 'Single Page Continuous'. Why?

Probably not. The default setting is "default" which allows the viewer to control it with their preferences.

Thanks, kowboy. I've just seen a few of those video conversion tools that specifically advertise .swf to .flv conversion. They may degrade the quality and make certain features not work just like when you convert to .avi. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with any of those tools.
I know this is a fairly odd situation. Both myself and the other flash developer advised that they not use Flash to create 5 min plus videos and then wrap them in .flv flash players.

Why doesn't reflection reveal the clone() method in arrays?

I was surprised to discover that the following code does not reveal the method "clone()", even though you can call "clone()" on an Object[]. Can anyone explain why this is? I was hoping to use the Reflect API to clone an arbitrary object if it was Cloneable, and to throw an Exception otherwise. How can I do this?

Just to clarify. I know that clone() is protected in Object, but it is certainly a public method in array objects such as int[], float[], Object[] etc. Test: call clone() on any of these objects! Also, I realize that Cloneable does not itself guarantee the method clone(). Nevertheless, if you take a regular Cloneable object, such as a String, then typically, if you ran myObject.getClass().getMethods() on that object, you'd find the method clone() in the resulting list. i.e., that Class has overwritten Object's protected clone() method with a public clone() method. So since int[], float[] and all the rest have a clearly public clone() method, then why doesn't myFloatArray.getClass().getMethods() show me a method called "clone"? I guess it would have to have something to do with the fact that arrays are funny kinds of classes that are not properly handled by the Reflection API, but is it on purpose that clone() isn't available?

Why doesn't nsroledn display in an entry search?

I dont understand why nsroledn does not display in a search result for an entry. I can search on an nsroledn value in entries, but when I look at an entry itself I don't see the nsroledn attribute. Yes I can see it in the console, but it would offer so much functionality when looking at an entry with ldapsearch to see its roles. I thought that was the whole point of using roles instead of groups, because you could look at an entry and see its' roles.

Because nsRoleDN is an operational attribute...ie it is only returned if you specifically ask for it.
To retrieve all attributes plus the nsRoleDN, specify the following list of attributes : "*" nsRoleDN
