Why doesn't FF UPDATE show in Downloads ?

Just updated to FFv28. Preferences generally on my Win7x64 machine are to notify of updates to DL/apply, NOT full-auto background update, so I can keep in touch with what's happening, at least to some degree.
**Noticed the FF-Update-download DOES NOT SHOW in my downloads NOR in the standard folder where all downloads are set to go on my machine. Why is this ? **
How do I know I haven't just DL'd from a foxacid server ? (or some other malicious imposter) - esp. since no site shows onscreen.
Separate-but-related (but above is most important question) does FF have some integrated some DL authentication process (/esp./ FF updates) for both the DL source and the actual DL itself? eg, auto MD5 checksum comparison (yeah wiki8pedia reads MD5 is not recommended anymore, but whatever the alternative methods is - you get my drift ?)

To clarify -
I want to see the downloaded file after I have downloaded it, whether the DL is auto or initiated by me, I want to see (and have my security software inspect) the downloaded file BEFORE it is installed (and I may later wish to re-install the file). And the downloaded file which is the updated version of FF DOES NOT SHOW UP in the folder where all downloads are set to go on my machine, NOR does it show in the Tools>Downloads box. SO (1) why is this, (2) where IS it, (3) how to correct this behaviour so it behaves like any other DL and goes where I have set it to go. ?!?
-- (re 2): FOUND where the update probably initially DL's to: C:\Users\Xyz\AppData\Local\Mozilla\updates\AlphabetSoup(may be more than one with same date>inspect each)\updates --- where there is a 'last-update.log' with some details. BUT WHY does the file not DL to where all DL's are set to go to in Preferences ? And besides being hidden in an obscure folder (NOT where DLs are set to go to), the user is not given the chance to scan the file for viruses etc as once the user clicks ok to update, the file is DL'd and installed in one action. ## 'Security' in obscurity is INSECURE ## that is very old not-news, so WHY ????? And this is where the separate-but-related question (above) kicks in too..

Thanks Mende1. The printer is there and installed allright. Even shows as "idle" until I try to print to it. The driver version shows 6.36 and I ned to update to 9 which is only avail from the App store... However, the app store don't detect I need it..

Why doesn't the TV show I downloaded show up in iTunes library?

I purchased a Season Pass and successfully downloaded the series directly to Apple TV. iTunes has sent me two Season Pass Notifications for new episodeds. After downloading these episodes on my Computer, they do not appear anywhere in iTunes.
I've tried searching for the show using OSX Spolight without success. When check for available downloads within iTunes, I get a message that all shows have been downloaded.
I want to watch these new episodes on my iPod. Any suggestions?

Did you ever get an answer? I also downloaded a TV season pass but am unable to see the episodes on either ITUNES or AppleTV. I received the email notification for a new episode but it still does not download. When I go to ITUNES, I am told all episodes have been downloaded. Can anyone help?

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Could it be that you are running Windows XP? I believe there is some automatic detection of the operating system you are running, and if it is not supported by the application, it does not show up on the download page.

My problem is to undestand why I got a syntax error about parenthesis.Because you cannot perform arithmatic operation with a value coming from a subquery in a SET clause of UPDATE

Why doesn't my apps show up in iTunes? I'm on iTunes 11.1.2.31 using an iPad mini on the latest IOS 7.0.3. Could it be that I'm on a new computer and have some settings messed up? I'm not really familiar with Pandora but I assume it's an audio app and the app places text on screen to inform you of the current track playing.
As an audio app, it seems to make sense it will stream audio over AirPlay, which doesn't include text of course. For that matter the text is also unlikely to be a video stream either, just to cover the possibility you ask why can't they stream it over AirPlay as video.

Today on my first Search bar attempt, my search page got redirected from Google to www.bigseekpro.com, which I had never heard of. I checked my Plugins and Addons, it didn't show up there. But my home page had also been hijacked, from the tabs I normally go to, to only go to this new page. I did find in C:\uerdatada\appdata\roaming\mozilla\firefox\profiles\cawypqyo.default a new folder created a few moments before, \searchplugins, and in this a file search.xml, which contained xml commands to redirect the search activity.
These look suspicious: the first command sets xmlsn:os to "http://a9.com", which I can't seem to find anything on with whois or tracert; bigseekpro.com itself traces to its registry at godaddy.com, but that's about all I'm finding.
If this is a legitimate place for Firefox to look for a plugin, why doesn't the Firefox plugin manager tell me it found something there? And why couldn't the Help articles on "Search not going where you want it to" also tell me about this?
Any ideas? Am I right to be highly suspicious of this behavior?

Search engine plugins are kept separate from Add-ons (Extensions, Plugins, Appearance). Search plugins, both the default search engines supplied with Firefox and those that you install will be shown in the Search Bar (see [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Search_Bar Search Bar]).
