Why doesn't Firefox's setup module have a digital signature?

I did not notice any secure connection indicator when downloading Firefox 3.6.13 from a Denmark mirror site. This was after restarting the download step multiple times and seeing only East European sites. I'm in the Western part of USA and I didn't see any mirror sites one would expect from something the size of Mozilla.org.
Then when I started executing the setup module, I was also warned that the module did not have a digital signature.
I know it would be somewhat of a long shot if download site was hijacked, but I aborted the Firefox installation hoping that I might receive a practical explanation for the less than expected security indicators.

I figured it out myself, I should use the shorter keys parsing from formDataCsv in GetFormDataResult to retrieve the latest version.

Why doesn't latest version of pdf have a visible signature, only blank fields

I'm C# user and tried both createUrlWidget and createPersonalUrlWidget to send a test document, and after it signed by signer, I used both getLatestDocument and getDocuments, but only get a pdf without seeing signature like this:

So, I'm confused, can anybody answer me where did I missed?

Why doesn't Firefox auto-update Flash Player like Chrome does?

For security reasons and less hassle, I like Chrome auto-updates Flash Player. Why doesn't Firefox do this?

Google Chrome has it's own version of the Flash plugin that is apart of the Google Chrome installation files. 
So Google needs to do a full update with every Flash release.
Firefox uses the Flash plugin as installed in your Linux distribution, 
If your Ubuntu Linux distribution doesn't have an automatic update for Flash then you need to do that manually.

When saving files from the internet, why doesn't Firefox 'know' to put .jpg files in "Photos" and pdf files in "Documents"? IE always saved photos in the "Photos" file and documents in the "Documents" file. Firefox makes me choose every time. Very annoying.

How about if Firefox is programmed like IE in this ONE thing...
When saving files from internet sources, if the file ends in a typical photo extension such as .jpg, .bmp, .tif etc. it defaults to save it in your PHOTOS folder.
When saving anything like a .doc, .pdf etc. it defaults to save it to your DOCUMENTS.
You could still change it to 'desktop' if that if really where you want all your photos and documents... or some other folder that you decide, but DEFAULTS to the LOGICAL folder.
I have carpal tunnel SO bad that even typing this suggestion is painful and having to make the extra click along with moving the mouse EVERY time I want to save something is painful.
ALSO, I shouldn't need a bunch of ADDONS to accomplish this. I tried downloading one and it did nothing. The problem still exists.

Can't open PDF. Program does not have valid digital signature. No valid Acrobat S/N found.

I recently bought new HP computer with Windows 7. I loaded my Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium. Illustrator tries to open then just disappears. I can not open PDF's. Get the following message: This program doesn't have valid digital signature that verifies it's signature. No valid Acrobat S/N found. Acrobat will now quit. Then: There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader. Please exit and try again. When I exit - computer locks up.

These can be frustrating.
Try restarting your PC.
Using a different browser.
There have been reports that this can be due to router problems.
A simple way round it is to get a friend to download the installer for your and put it on a USB stick.

Why doesn't Firefox have an ADM/ADMX GPO file?

I've been using Firefox for years, and it's always been my favorite browser. But working in our environment we push Firefox to our users, but we have no control of the software. Things we want to do are; allow pop-ups, disable auto-update, enable certain plug-ins and a few other settings we want configured.
Why is this never tackled by the Firefox development group? I've seen 3rd party ADM\ADMX but they only last for a version and won't work again.
Why won't Firefox do this for the business users? It's been brought up time and again.

Why doesn't Firefox keep the tabs in the way it is supposed to do?

I have been using Firefox for a long time and know my way round it. In recent times it simply refuses to restore open tabs. On the internet help files it merely states the obvious regarding settings. I know all this basic stuff. I have reset the browser back to default settings too, but it makes no difference. It just won't work. I have 2 machines (both running XP home) that are exactly the same. I have got so fed up that I have installed other browsers that don't drop the tabs like Firefox does, but they have other issues that I don't like so I have come back to try and get some answers. It seems to be a widespread problem with the software, as loads of people seem to be having the same issues.

Are you running any cleanup software like CCleaner that way be removing this session data?

Why does the Firefox website think I have version 3.6.10 when I really have version 7.01?

I've updated to 7.0.1. It looks like Firefox 7.0.1. When I go up to "(about Firefox) it says I have 7.0.1. However when I try to use any some of the add-ons. It says I can't use them because I have Firefox 3.6.10. WHAT THE HECK??? Also, when I go into certain sites like iCloud for instance, It says I have an old version of Firefox and need to update to Firefox 7.0.1. BUT I HAVE AND I AM EVEN USING PERSONAS that are for 7.0.1. HELP!!!!!

My guess is whatever addon you have (or once had) installed that felt the need to add the FBSMTWB junk to the end overrode your real UA to do so and broke things for you. You'll want to reset things to let Firefox set it properly again. Follow the steps here to do so:

Cant Download Firefox because it has no valid digital signature

When I try to download firefox 4.0 I can either run or save the setup file, when I "Run" I get an error message saying I cannot download because the creator (FireFox) has no valid digital signature, when I download the setup file to my desktop and try to run from there I get the error telling me the file is Corrupt?

ok no problem so what i did was i went to the cmd prompt and typed in ipconfig( to get there on vista type cmd in the search in the start window then press enter, in xp type cmd in the run box.) when you press enter you will then need to scroll down and check out what your ip address is. proper ip addresses end in something like ...1.1 or 0.1 if it has any other number then that you need to reset your ip address in your network settings which can be accesed in control panel. and if you have the option click the box that says get ip address automatically. hope that works!

Why does Adobe 9 standard crash when using the digital signature

When using the digital signature in Adobe 9 standard it crashes, it has been repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled and still crashes when putting in the digital signature and not understanding why. Also the digital signature was redone. Your thoughts on this would be most helpful.

I had the same problems and was VERY frustrated.
I finally solved my problem by uninstalling reader 9.1, air, acrobat.com and THEN after a restart, installing a lite version of reader 9.1 from this site:

Why doesn't firefox have a "print" button in the tool bar and why can't I add attachments to my emails MOST of the time. It only works rarely?? Frustrating!

I cannot find an add on as a print button for the firefox toolbar. Almost every time I want to print, I have to copy and then open a document and paste it there to be able to print it.
Also, each time I want to add an attachment to an email, it rarely lets me. I have to open internet explorer and go through my email that way to be able to add attachments.

Considering that Firefox doesn't do email, that problem is probably caused by your webmail portal software not being totally compatible with Firefox. If you tell which webmail service you use maybe another user who is familiar with that service can help you.

Why doesn't firefox have an uninstall button ...Or don't run when it's update shows it isn't compatible with my wireless hp printer? I don't want the version installed when it takes away my being able to print wirelessly!!!!!!

I don't want the updates...If they take away the ease of using my computer! The latest version didn't recognize the FB shortcut. and I use my wireless printer now I don't think I can because it had no updates for the printer after firefox updated I want to be able to back out of the update if it isn't compatible!!!!

I am the original poster, and I got rid of CA Security Suite & and loaded the Avast! which has some great features even on the freeware. No more crashes or freezing & yes I think there is a problem with CA & Firefox, but am not sure what it is. CA was a big time hog. I also got rid of my ISP and installed a Intellinet Wireless G PCI Card & now am completely wireless on my PC. Faster by far than what I was paying $50/month for & I use my Windows Firewall.

Why doesn't Firefox stop running when I shut it off? Every time I shut it off and return later, I get a message that Firefox is running, but not responding and that I have to restart my computer to access Firefox.

When I shut down Firefox I get all the shutdown messages, so I assume it has shut down as it should. But if I go back to my PC later (within an hour or so) and click on Firefox to bring it up, I get the "runningbutnotresponding" message and the promt to restart my PC.
