Apple should give some feedback for the iPod touch users.

iOS 7 is available for the 5th generation iPod Touch.
The hardware limitations of the older models prevent them from running iOS7.

HT4623 Will ios 7 be available for the iPod Touch 4th Generation
Just wondering if anyone knew when or if ios 7 will be made available for the iPod Touch 4th Generation.
No.
As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod. Not enough RAM
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB -
What ios system can the IPod touch 4th gen. update to
What ios system can the iPod touch 4th gen. update to?
I wouldn't buy a second-gen iPod touch at any price now, and particularly not for only $50 less than a fourth-gen model. There are far too many apps that require a version of iOS newer than what a second-gen iPod can run. Up to you, though.

Will siri be available for the iPod touch 4th Generation?
I have an 32gb iPod touch 4th Generation. My Aunt owns an iPhone 4s with siri. I would enjoy having siri on my itouch and I heard that you can get it if you jailbreak your ipod. Is this true? And finally, will siri be available for the iPod touch?
If I am correct, I read it on Apples website. I believe this is the article of which we are talking about. Now that I pick through it more, I understand that when it comes to Siri, the iPod touch isn't even mentioned.
Thank you for your help!
With iOS 6, Siri understands more languages, works in more countries, and is available on the new iPad.2 So you can get more things done in more places around the world. Want to know the latest scores and stats for your favorite teams and players? Thanks to iOS 6, Siri knows the answers. Or maybe it’s movie night. Siri can show you the latest reviews and showtimes. Find the best restaurants in town and make reservations. Even open your apps for you — no tapping required. Say "Launch Flight Tracker" or "Open Angry Birds" and Siri does just that. You can even use Siri to post Facebook updates and tweet for you, too. -
Update for the iPod touch 4th gen
Hi, I have a iPod touch 4th generation running iOS 4.1 (Yes, really old.) And i've never updated an apple device and I need some help about it.
I did backup the iPod but when I go to update it, it gives me a warning saying "Some purchased files on here are not bla bla bla" And i'm thinking, when I backed it up did everything get onto my computer?
And do the photos sync with it aswell? Because I have photos I can't loose. The backup does not include any iTunes content. You can transfer purchases from idevice to computer: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases
The photos taken with the iPhone are not part of the sync. You should be importing them as you would with any digital camera. -
I bought the new IPod Touch 4th Gen the other day and I would like to use firefox on it. Safari comes on it. I could download Firefox as an app? Thanks, Paul Forgues
To reset the iPod without the hardware buttons,
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected. You will have to rejoin wifi networks and repair BT devices -

Is there like a charge or something?
You can't do that at Apple. Apple, however, offers a recycling service, which might give you some $$$ back.

Why is the iPod Touch (4th Gen) missing the video setting for TV Out?
Has anyone else noticed that in the iPod Touch (4th Gen) that there isn't a video setting for TV Out? It's not on the new iPhone either. I wanted to attach an AV Composite cord from my iPod to my TV. It won't work because of the missing video setting. You would think that since this is new technology, it would have that setting. After all, my iPod from 2005 has that feature and works just fine with the $39 AV Compostie cable from Apple. I was hoping to display what I have on my iPod Touch to my TV, but discovered that I couldn't. When I called Apple, they thought at first I had a defective cable. But later told me that i OS 5 left out the video out feature as if by mistake. Could anyone elaborate on this issue? I would appreciate it. Thanks!!
I am well aware that setting was on the iPod before iOS 5! My question is why is it missing? Because right now, Apple is selling the AV Composite cable claiming it's compatible with the iPod Touch (4th Gen) and it's not. Thank you!
