why doesnt ical add all of my google calendars on the same page.
like in gmail, i have different calendars that all show up together on the same page.
i see that they are there in ical when i click window. but the are not all see together on one page.

If the box next to each calendar in the list is checked, it should show the contents of the calendars on the page. Unchecking the box hides the calendar.

How do I get all of my ipod apps on the same page

I just deleted 100 free apps from my daughters ipod and now she has 1 or 2 apps on each of 4 'pages' how can I put these all on one page. I have tried to drag them with no luck.

Could you get the apps to start wiggling?

Why doesn't iTunes add protected MPEG-4 audio files to its music library? I copied these files to my iMac from an old PC laptop that no longer has internet access.

After downloading via iTunes, I move MP3 files from the default iTunes podcast folder to another folder (on an a external disk), I also change the name of the file and I change some MP3-tags.
You download from the iTunes store, delete the podcast, mess with it, move it around, rename it, change the tags then try to add it back to iTunes?
I want all my files in one index, the iTunes Music Library
In iTunes, right click - get info, click the Options tab and set *Media Kind:* to Music.

Why doesn't Apple include all iTunes extras with bundle purchases?

I have noticed this before but now I am wondering: Why doesn't Apple include all iTunes extras with bundle purchases?
I am currently looking at the Buddy Comedy Pack. On this page they say that the following movies have iTunes Extras:
21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, and Step Brothers.
As you scroll down the page it says that if you purchase this bundle, you also receive:
iTunes Extras for: 21 Jump Street, Step Brothers, and The Other Guys
A) Why not include 22 Jump Street's extras with this bundle?
B) The Other Guy's does not have an iTunes extra unless bought through this bundle! (What the heck?!)

Why all JMenuItem's of JPopupMenu perform the same action?
I trying to do something similar to what there is in JBuilder where you right click a method or a class - you get a popUpMenu and if you choose the
"Browse Symbol" JBuilder browses to that method/class.
I'm trying to do the same and to browse to some class of mine (not a java class). But there's a problem.
This is my code : -

ComplexClass is build of SimpleClasses - so if I want to browse to complex class I ask the user by a JPopupMenu what specific SimpleClass he would like to browse to. My ActionListener is a NavigateToComplexClass class - and hewe is the code : -

for your actionlistener all those items are more or less the same. when browsing to them you have to give them different names or better different actioncommands.

What does can't connect mean in regards to placing/receiving calls? Your iPhone doesn't ring when calling one of the numbers on the same account and bill, or your iPhone rings but the recipient's phone doesn't ring?

Why all newly installed Apps appear on the second page of Launchpad?

I'm new to Mac (1y now). Using 10.7.5 on my MacBook Air.
Every time I install an App it appears in the second page of Launchpad and since I don't want to have a second page, I move it back into one of my App groups on the first page, erase the empty page, and next time I install an App it happens again! What's wrong with the endless open space I still have on the first page? Why is that not good enough?

Slightly bumping because I believe I understand this strange phenomena...
It would appear that the iPhone allows you to create folders, but the device still treats these apps even when they are put in folders as if they take a "Space" on the homescreen. That being said if you have more than a few third party applications installed they would " if you were to unfolder all your apps" end up on the second page.
Please tell me I am wrong and this is a joke...

I think I know the problem because I've had it myself. I didn't upgrade iWorks on my iPad, but after Apple made changes to iCloud (concurrent with Mavericks) any docs passing through it were modified and made unreadable. Even though, as you say, they were created on my iPad using the previous version of iOS Pages, which I didn't upgrade.
iCloud is the culprit, if your iPad settings had iCloud>Documents & Data enabled, the docs were modified and disabled in the cloud.
I made a further mistake. After I saw this happening, I didn't think to turn off auto updates, and Apple pushed the new version of iOS Pages onto my iPad. The result was that ALL my docs disappeared from the iPad, and from iCloud.com also. I have not been able to recover them.
I've been talking to the Pages engineering team about it. If they come up with an answer, I'll post it here. Meanwhile, get those older files backed up somewhere safe if you can.

I have an iPhone and occasionally use it for photos, but my main camera is NOT an iPhone. To be forced to go outside Apple for a product when Apple had perfectly good products available is ludicrous. But it is what it is, apparently.

So we have DSL Modem <-> Base Station <-> Computer connected by Ethernet.
Is the Modem Routing ?
Is the Base Station set to "Share An IP" ?
(i.e are there two DHCP servers on your LAN ?)
Is Internet Sharing On in th G5s System Preferences > Sharing pane ?
In the Base Station is Port Mapping Protocol Enabled if it is doing routing ?
It is in the NAT tab of the Internet Pane.
Is the G5 also doing WiFi to the Base Station ?
Also check the Modem is not Blocking PINGS as this log shows no PING (But I am not sure it even got that far)

Have you gone to the developers site? Do you have the latest version?
If you're having problems with the software on Lion and you have the latest version you need to contact the developer.

I don't know what happened. All of a sudden, my settings have been changed, my homepage, and EVERYTHING. No matter how many times I go in and change them again, the SAME pages open up when I start FireFox and I am constantly being asked if I want Yahoo as my start page and default search engine. I click the box 'do not ask me again' and it comes up EVERY TIME. I change things like I don't want history remembered, and when I reload FireFox again, it's back to the way it was BEFORE. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't know why this is happening, or how to fix it. What do I do??

I do not want to download another virus program.. I do not believe it is a virus. I am running the full version of Norton 360 and it is doing a daily scan. I have Windows 7, 64 bit OS.
This is very irritating !! If I wanted Yahoo I would ask for it !
