Why doesn't my iPad allow me to use iMassage with my phone number anymore?
I used to use FaceTime and iMassage with my cell phone number on my iPad. Now, it only allows me to use my email address. Why the change?
I'm using iOS 6.1.3.

Hi guys, so we have 2 iPhones in my house, both on the same Apple ID so that my mum and I can share everything. I have just got an iPad mini, and would like to use iMessage on it with my phone number, but the iPad only picks up other more recently added number (not mine, my mums) when I go to message settings. Why doesn't the Calendar allow for making repeating appts. like the 1st Saturday of each month or the last Friday of each month? This is such fundamental functionality. Virtually all other third-party calendar apps include this feature. I was very disappointed this wasn't addressed in iOS 5. Hopefully an Apple Support person sees this...

I just want to start off first by saying I just purchased my iPad about six months ago and I'm really enjoying it,but if you're like me,I believe in protecting my privacy.
I don't like to turn down any of friends or coworkers when I'm asked to use my iPad,but when you have such things as your personal pictures,movies,music,business documents,etc...you'd like to keep them from prying eyes. I thought that with the new iOS 7 update,that issue would've been fixed, but I was wrong. I'm hoping Apple would correct this problem with the next iOS update,it would make a lot of loyal Apple consumers & anyone who's new to purchasing the iPad for the first time very happy to know that feature is available.

Why doesn't Disk Utility allow me to select an image or movie to burn? Everything is greyed out, even files.
You cannot burn a movie with Disk utility - you need a burn application which will encode, author, and render the files so you will be able to watch the movie in any DVD player. There is iDVD (still available within the retail iLife 09 or 11 disks available at online resellers or ebay, amazon, etc), or Roxio Toast or Burn (free, but very basic), or google for others.

Because you have a 1st generation iPad and iOS 5.1.1 is the last update for it.
It will not get any further iOS updates beyond 5.1.1
iOS 7 requires at least an iPad 2 -
Previous iPad allowed me to use an adapter to download pics from an sd card. I can't find one for the new IPad. Is there one available? Any other way to do this?

Hardware requirements of the iphone 4 do not meet the specifications needed for FaceTime over cellular data.
4S and up do not require wifi for FaceTime.

i'm trying to use a madcatz controller on the mac but it turns on for 2 seconds and turns off. the system profiler picks it up as a xbox 360 gamepad but says its not been configured. how can i allow my self use this with my games!
I have exactly the same problem.
I'm a little peed-off with Microsoft on this. The original wireless controller I have doesn't work either since the cable I'm using is 'just' the charge and play cable, so a direct connection to my Mac won't work with this cable. It's a cable for god's sake. Why on EARTH put any limitations on this!?!?
Next I learn I need an additional USB wireless receiver from Microsoft to get my original 360 controller to talk to my Mac. As I certainly don't want to fork any more microsoft dollars on this, this is not an option.
Next I think, yes! I have a MadCatz 360 wired USB controller. This should surely do the trick just plugging it in and the way I go. But oh no, for some reason I plug my MadCatz Xbox360 controller in, it flashes a few times then switches off and can't be turned on again.
The System Profiles recognizes it as a MadCatz 360 device controller but that is about it, but the ontroller software I download for the System Prefs (360Controller, USBOverdrive etc) don't even recognize the controller as being plugged in.
What the **** Is The Microsoft Deal with all of this!?!?
PS: Oh, and I forgot to mention, there are No drivers for device 4716 that I can find on the MadCatz website, or am I going blind?

Hi, I am required to have a IP recieve 3 IDOC types triggered from BD10 . It can trigger 3 or more IDOCs. For Eg. 1 ARTMAS (only 1) , 2 INFRECs and 1 LIKOND. If anyone IDOC has come then after a waiting period of 1 minute it should come out of FORK.

Hi, I have a freecom 1TB hard drive which was working fine until it froze. I pulled it out (mistake I now know) and now it doesn't mount. It shows up in Disk Utility but won't manually mount. When I try to repair it gives message 'failed on exit'.
