My iPad2 stopped making the chirp sound when plugged in to charge.

Right under the volume rocker switch is a little switch that can be either rotation lock or all mute. Perhaps if you have it muted then it doesn't even give the charging chirp

It should only chirp once. If it's doing it a lot then your connection might not be good, you can see if it's not fully seated in your device. Or there could be an issue with your charger.

     I just bought an apple tv. I am able to use the mirroring function with no problem, and I can see the apple tv in the "Airplay" menu.
     But When i play a video in safari(mirroring turned off), I can not see my apple TV in the "AirPlay" menu.
      So my question is : why doesn't apple tv appear when playing video in safari?
Does the same thing happen to you guys??
btw, I just dont want to mirroring when play a video in safari, that's why i'm asking this question

Experiencing the same issue. Everything used to just work. I'm up to date on *everything* and it's all apple devices (airport extreme, appletv, 2 macbook pro lion, iphone4s, ipad).
My gut says it's the AppleTV since it happens from both laptops that have itunes.
Let me know if you find a fix.

The mail server worked when I originally set it up and continued to work for months afterwards.
What would make the outgoing mail server not be set up correctly after all that time?

Ok, I just realised that this only happens if the current page in iBooks has a video on it. If the page has only text and images, there is no problem.
I still think it is a bug though. If the video is not running, I don't see why the music player should be stopped. If I choose to start the video on the page, THEN the music player should be stopped.

First off, I suggest using the charger that came with the iPad and plug that into a good wall outlet. USB ports often do not supply enough power for efficient charging on an iPad.

I am experiencing the same exact issue. Running Office 2010 and whenever I open an xlsm file by double clicking on it in Windows Explorer, it opens in Excel but the macros do not open. If I open the VBA editor, only the current document is shown in there
and not the macros.
Opening Excel first and then dragging the spreadsheet file from Windows Explorer into Excel does work, and while the answers here are workarounds, they are far from solutions and are a very cumbersome workaround when dealing with multiple files.
Can anyone help with a proper solution to the issue? I've tried adding my XLSTART folder to the "At startup, open all files in:" setting in the Advanced options menu, and that has done nothing.

My phone woke me up an hour early today with an error message that I was using the wrong charger for my phone. I am using the original charger. The message keeps repeating even though no charger is connected.

I'm sorry you're receiving this message mspammij. Are there any issues with the charger or charging port on the phone? Is either damaged? Did you start to receive this message when you downloaded a specific application?

I have Mozilla, Internet Explorer and Safari & none of them open when I click on a link to a website thru the "mail" account? Why? I even open the browser ahead of time and they do not go to the site. And it doesn't matter what link I have, NO LINKS Activate These Browsers. Is there something that is deactivated? In the General section of Safari's preferences, select the web browser you want to use to open the links. If this setting has been changed to no application or one which can't handle web links, such as Calculator, the link won't open when you click on it.

Why do I get hissing sound when charging my Macbook Pro

Hello!
Few weeks ago i noticed that on my speakers there is this hissing sound/noise coming out, but eventually it stopped. But now I changed speakers to active studio monitors and I hear hissing very well, the hissing noice is just horrible and i noticed that it only happens when I am charging my Macbook.
And one more strange thing, hissing noise doesn't happen when i use my headphones.
Has anybody encountered
