Why doesn't my Macbook recognize/accept Snow Leopard 10.6.3?

I am trying to load Snow Leopard 10.6.3 on my Macbook but it is not compatible. Why? When I purchased it there was
no mention of system compatiblity issues that I recall, other than what was reasonably obvious. I thought I did my homework.
Am I hopefully just missing something? Thank you in advance if anyone might know!

No. it is my sister in law's Macbook. I installed OSX 10.6.3, then updated software but when completed it shut down and I have not been able to restart. i have reset the pram but that's about it. I will get the install disc and try that next. Thanks. BTW .. when I try to restart it goes thru the motions, gets to a blue screen but before the desk top sets up ... it goes to black with the curser in the upper left corner ... and frozen.

Are you really still running 10.6.3? If you are you should run the combo update as many issues were resolved within the updates themselves.

I recently purchased a lot of new songs and downloaded the newest version of itunes. Now when i plug my ipod (6th gen) into the USB to sync with itunes it shows that it is charging ("connected - eject before disconnecting") then it ejects itself and the whole time itunes never registers my ipod. So frustrating!! I've restarted my computer many times, i've uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes many times. I've tried holding the sleep/on/off button with the volume down button to restore it then i get a message from itunes saying that it can't restore my ipod because of an error..... What can I do??? Please Help!!!!

Found the answer on the HP site. It's the original software that works with this printer OS X 10.6!!

it's also likely that you used two different apple IDs to purchase apps. if that's the case then you simply have to log out of your app store, and log into the other account to update the apps.
from experience it's not possible to syncronise purchased content from two different accounts. but you can always give Apple a call.

If this is really Memeo Backup and you want to get rid of it for a better backup program like Carbon Copy Cloner the the following shows all the stuff that Memeo Backup installer installs (based on Memeo Backup 2.5.141 which I found with a google search and downloaded):
The primary file to disable Memeo Backup would be that file in LaunchDaemons. Remove it and reboot and the rest is just taking up disk space.

Were you importing them into Aperture or IPHOTO - or were you using Sony Software?
I have A Kodak Easy Share - when I purchased a new mac - did not install the Kodak software - just switched to using IPHOTO to do the import.

It's hard to say why your machine is slow, but that machine with 8 GB of RAM should not be slow. Could be any number of possible problems. Try taking a look at the Mac OS X Speed FAQ.

Several possibilities -
The disk may be from a different model of computer.
The disk itself may be damaged.
The optical drive in your MacBook may have gone bad. Can it read other DVDs?
