Why doesn't my text show up in the textbox

Question

Hi,
 I have this code in here.And whenever the user presses this specific button,my text box should show up 2 or more lines of text,but instead the text box shows only the last line.
private void lengthOfLargestArrayDimensionToolStripMenuItem_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
textBox1.Text = "A = magic (3)";
textBox1.Text = "l = do_math (A)";
In the case above,my text box shows only "l = length (A)".And I want both those lines to be shown.

But do you want those shown as separate lines also? Then textBox1.Text = "A = magic (3)"  and then maybe
textBox1.Text += Environment.NewLine and then maybe
textBox1.Text += "l = do_math (A)"
Anyhow please see C# Environment.NewLine where apparently "\r\n" may work also rather than Environment.NewLine.
Or possibly textBox1.AppendText("A = magic (3)" + "\r\n" + "l = do_math (A)") or perhaps
textBox1.Text = "A = magic (3)" + Environment.NewLine + "l = do_math (A)"
