Hmph... It does not work for me, when I click Update in CS6, it says all applications are up to date! That then shows Camera Raw being 7.3...
I then launched LR 4.3 and was greeted with the update to 4.4, which worked perfectly fine.
I returned to CS6 and checked again, to no avail...
So my LR is now stating 4.4 and Camera Raw 7.4, however CS6 is still showing Camera Raw 7.3!
Any ideas, or help?
I own perpetual license and am working on OSX 10.8.3, for all it matter.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question. I just received Photoshop CS5 last week and I just started using it. I was talking to someone the other day and they recommenced to shoot in the RAW format. I did a few shoots today and saved them on my pc (Windows XP Home 32 bit). The problem I am having is when I select a photo it shows in the dialog box, but I receive an error message saying "Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera RAW.

Have you contacted the dock manufacturer?
The adopter supports audio if the dock manufacturer says the dock supports the 5G iPod.
It may be that the dock does not work with iOS 6.x vie the 5G. Sometimes an iOS update will break compatibility.

Uninstalling previous versions of Photoshop and Lightroom

I would like to uninstall previous versions of Photoshop and Lightroom in order to free up space. What is the proper procedure for doing so? Is it recommended to do?

Is it recommended to do?
It's not recommended nor is it not recomemnded. It's entirely your own decision. As Curt said, there are certain side effects, in addition to file associations also shared components possibly breaking down (PDF libraries), so if it's not that critical, leave them in place. otehrwise you may have to reinstall CS6 after you have removed the other versions.

Why more than 1 version of Photoshop?

Why do I have more than 1 version of Photoshop in my Creative Cloud desktop app? Photoshop CC + Photoshop CC (2014), see attached image.
I just found out that those are different version with different settings - bad surprise, I'll have to waste time updating the files created with the version with the wrong settings.
Why is this happening and I do I get to have only 1 Photoshop on my pc, so that I don't make mistakes again?
I already uninstalled and reinstalled through the creative Cloud app: it removed everything and then it reinstalled the 2 different versions.

-so do not uninstall the older CC programs if you use plugins in your programs until you are sure you have plugins that work in CC2014

Does single-app version of Photoshop include Lightroom?

Hi! Looking into getting the single app version of Photoshop in Creative Cloud, but don't know if it includes access to Lightroom or not... It doesn't say so anywhere, but Lightroom isn't an option under single app so I was curious... Thanks!

Studio_E, Lightroom is not a part of Photoshop subscription, instead Photoshop and Lightroom are two separate applications. You can get Photoshop CS6 single product subscription but not for Lightroom. You can get it for Lightroom as a part of Creative Cloud.

Where can I find the download page for trial versions of Lightroom and Photoshop for Mac OS 10.6.8?
It's so hard that Adobe has no contact form, no way I can see to contact them. The help is not helpful to me, it's more like an FAQ. So I'd also be interested in knowing how their customer support is from anyone who has had to use it. They don't have any obvious way to contact them for pre-sales support. When I see that I get suspicious that you will get no help once you hand your money over.

Since you are using Mac 10.6.8 you cannot use the CC version of Photoshop
so CS6 version of Photoshop would be apt for you.

Does mac version of photoshop elements 11 support export of photographs from the organizer?

I have the mac version of photoshop elements 10 which does not support exporting of photographs in the organizer. I use to be a Windows user of the program and like this feature. It is a major flaw in the mac version. Does anyone know if the corrected this flaw in version 11?

Yes it's now available. One day the Mac organizer may get sslideshows!

Cannot download full versions of Photoshop and Lightroom

Hi, I purchased a plan for photographers as a part of Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition and cannot download Photoshop or Lightroom in a different way than as trials. You, Adobe, have my money already and everything else seems to be ok. How can I download the full versions??? This is really disappointing

My iMac has 256mb of VRAM. Where can I download a version of Photoshop CS6 that has the lower VRAM requirements?

Please download CC desktop app via Free Creative Cloud | Download Adobe Creative Cloud free trial and then start downloading Photoshop and Lightroom.
In case that also comes in .exe then download PS and LR via Adobe CC 2014 Direct Download Links – Creative Cloud 2014 Release | ProDesignTools

Why doesn't Adobe market an ereader device that supports PDF?

Why do I have to have my books converted to epub format, when customers would just as soon read pdfs, which would be much easier for me to create? I'm told it's because Kindle and the rest of the players aren't supporting pdf. So why doesn't Adobe support it and market it as an ereader platform? They could make money with ereader devices and marketing channels that do support pdf. Adobe's response was to bring out their ereader software, but there are too many of those platforms already. PDF on the other hand has the biggest customer base in the world. Is Adobe missing out here, being focused too exclusively on software and not aware of the kind of opening Amazon jumped on? Kindle has come from nowhere to dominate the market. Adobe could have a good share by marketing a pdf reader. Granted PDF doesn't wrap lines, but if you make the pages small, to fit in an ereader window, there are a lot of advantages to having page numbers too.

I'm also waiting for this feature.
