Why doesn't photo stream work? my photos do not get uploaded?
my photos dont get uploaded to photo stream? why?it stopped uploading 2 weeks ago it is supposed to do it automatically once u have a wi fi connection ( or 3g )..
I'll assume you are talking about an iOS device that takes photos.
Check the following:
From your Home screen, tap Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and make sure the slider is set to the ON position. If grayed out, check Restrictions in Settings>General.
From the Home screen, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, make sure the slider is set to ON, and that your device is connected to a wireless network.
Ensure that Camera app is closed on the device where you took the photo. Photo Stream will not upload photos from an iOS device until the Camera app is closed.
Ensure your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%.
Note that when photo stream is turned on, only pictures taken from that point on will go to the stream, not existing photos. For those, sync them to a computer using itunes and USB cable.

What is your iPhoto version? You will need iPhoto 9.2 (or later) to use the regular Photo Stream; for the more advanced Shared Photo Streams you need to upgrade to Mt. Lion.

On your Mac, go to System Preferences > iCloud and select the checkbox for Photo Stream. Click the Options button to verify that both My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are enabled. Then, open iPhoto or Aperture to confirm that My Photo Stream and Shared Photo Streams are turned on in the application you want to use with Photo Stream. You can also adjust your Photo Stream settings in iPhoto or Aperture Preferences.

I have iCloud set up fine on Windows 8 and it pulls shared photo streaming great, The problem is that in My Photo Stream folder the photos doesn't charge automatically and is empty, how can I do?

My Photo Stream works and I have iCloud control panel installed. The photo stream sync is selected, but when I go to the my photo stream folder on my windows PC there are no photos in the file.

I did as you said and went to the icloud control panel on my Windows 8 Laptop to be sure I was looking at the correct folder for my photo stream. All my "shared" albulms pushed to my Laptop and are up-to-date with the exception of the "photostream" album. If I create a "shared stream album" and place photo's in it on the phone; I can see the photos on my laptop. I dont get it. I had a iphone 4s and had zero isues and now with my new nifty iPhone 5s it doesent work.
What am I not doing correctly.

Photo stream works very strange
Photo stream works very strange. It sync photos in different order or don't sync some photos. I have different numbers of photos on my devices - 120 on iPhone, 183 on iPad, 160 on another iPad. What nonsense????
Macs: Any new photos you import to iPhoto or Aperture begin uploading automatically when you have a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Or you can change your iPhoto or Aperture preferences so that only photos you manually add to My Photo Stream are uploaded.

I have an iPod touch 4th generation, which is exactly what I wanted for a wifi supported multimedia device. I am trying to get the iCloud to work properly and despite of everything else working smoothly, I cannot seem to be able to get the Photo Stream working, in order to get the backup on iCloud. I tried to download the control panel and realised that it only supports the Vista SP2 and higher on Windows. Is there another way to get the settings on iCloud to include the photo stream?

What version of iphoto required to have Photo stream work
I have Version 8.1 (415) and Photo Stream is Greyed out. What verison is needed to allow it to work, or should I say what free Verison is required?

I work at a Learning Center that has 12 iPads on the same iTunes and iCloud account. Each classroom uses an iPad assigned to their room to take photos. Each of these photos then shows up in the Photo Stream in all 11 of the other iPads. I have no trouble importing photos that are in the Camera Roll of any individual iPad, but I have not been able to import photos from the Photo Stream if the picture was not taken on the specific iPad I am using. It is not feasible for me to collect all 12 iPads everyday to import everyones photos, so how can I use one "master" iPad that will let me import photos from the Photo Stream since it has all the photos that everyone has taken?
You downloaded an iCloud backup to your PC? I assume you mean you downloaded your photo stream to your PC. What you may not know is that photo stream only keeps your photos for 30 days. After that, they are deleted from photo stream but not from any device that already has them (such as your phone). When you enabled photo stream on your PC you only had access to photos from the last 30 days since the others are no longer there, even though they remain on your phone.
To transfer these to your computer at this point you have two options:
Save them to the camera roll on your phone (by opening the my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap all the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. (You can only import photos to your computer from the Camera Roll album.) Then import them to your computer as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083; or
Use an app like PhotoSync, which can wirelessly transfer photos from any album between your devices/computers, including the my photo stream album.
In the future, always import your photos from your camera roll to your computer via USB before deleting them. Don't rely on photo stream or your iCloud backup to save your photos. -
Pictures stored in Photo Stream when taken with camera not mobile
I recently bought an iPad and the person at the Apple store while doing the set-up saw that some of my pictures taken with my camera got stored in Photo Stream and in Photos, why ?
Although if I delete a photo on my Mac Book it oes not get deleted on my iPad ?

If you upload a photo in the 'Photo Stream Uploads' folder (PC), it is automatically imported to iPhone (via Wi-Fi). How come when you delete a photo from the Photo Stream folder (PC), it is not deleted in the Photo Stream (iPhone)?? I mean doesn't iCloud automatically update the changes? thanks.
You cannot delete photos from the photo stream. You can only log into icloud and in your account, you can delete photo stream and start fresh. It is rumored that the next upgrade to iOS will allow deletions of single photos from the stream, but not yet.

On the other hand, and that is the funny thing, the shared picture folder on the pc is updated with new photos/pictures from my ios devices and from my macbook. Anyone has any idea of what is the problem? This drives me crazy because i can't upload a picture manually from the PC. Hopefully anybody have an answer. Thanks in advance.
Hi Naddod , I have the same problem. The same pc photostream receives new photos added using the photostream "add picture" button but ipad and iphone does not. If I take new photo from Iphone I can find it in Photostream of PC, Iphone and Ipad. Seems IOS error. Strange thing is that , if then I erase that new photo from the PC photostream, than it will be erased from photostream of PC, iPhone and iPad, erasing works, adding not.

Some of my photos in my Photo Stream on my iPhone are not going over to my laptop. I can't figure out why, and I use them for scrapbooking. My laptop is a PC NOT a MAC.

For the avoidance of doubt, are the photos actually in photo stream on your iPhone or just in your camera roll?
If they are in photo stream, then you might try turning photo stream off and on again on both devices, restarting both devices before enabling photo stream once again. -
When trying to access photo stream on Apple TV, I am getting the error message terms and conditions have changed, but when I go into iCloud on my Mac the new terms and conditions are not appearing - How can I manually agree to them ?

My iPad camera photos will wirelessly sync with my iMac and iCLoud photo stream, but the videos do not, is USB connection the only way to transfer videos or is there also a wireless method?
Videos are not included with the Photo Stream. Photo Stream is for photos only.
There is not a wireless method for importing videos from the iPad's Camera Roll. -
