Why doesn't the iPhone organise music correctly?

I am running iTunes 10.7(21) on a 2011 iMac. I have an iPhone 5 on iOS6. I have never been able to correctly organise my music on the phone. Compilation albums showing up 100 times, with all 100 songs in each instance of the album... etc. I am no longer adding compilation ablums because I can't get them to display correctly. Shame.. Anyway.
With the iPhone 5, i added a load of music, and realised some of it was *missing*. It would show up under "Songs", with all tag info (artist, album track name), but the same tracks would not be listed under "Artist". All track info is immaculate.
I wiped all the music, and now have just begun re-adding it all. I have 3 Artists on there so far, and they all show up. Tapping on an artist brings up the one or two albums I have copied on, the tracks play. However if I try to view all albums, only one album apprears to be on the entire phone.
I sold my prefectly organised 160Gb iPod when I got the new iPhone.. Not happy that I can't get everything the way I want it on the iPhone!
Also how difficult is it to get artwork to add to an album properly!! I spend way too much time swearing at iTunes.
Anyone with any help or advice, I'd love to hear it!

Seems to have worked. I think. The album has copied on, all 100 songs show up in iTunes and on the iPhone under "Songs". But in the album or compilations list it is not there? Frustrating as the files are obviously on the phone, they just don't show up where they are supposed to.
As for the artwork, it's just hit and miss. Sometimes perfect, other times it doesn't sync over. Can't seem to work out what causes the difference. It updates and syncs, then there is no change on the phone. Beats me!
It was so easy to organise music on an iPod classic. Compilations were all under the right heading, artwork copied every time, it was heaven! This is just rediculious. I know my way around a computer!
electronicsguy; I have Group By Album Artist enabled, and now all the other (non-compilation) albums are visible.

OK sort of an old thread now but this apparently is a common issue. Restore wont help. I have researched it for the past week (did several months ago too and gave up) but I now have somewhat of a solution to this phenomena. For whatever reason mine seems to stay at 100% most of the night than around 7:00am it would drop to 97% or so within a few minutes. This sorta stopped when iOS 5.1.1 came out. Now it stays at 100% until I unplug it then it drops. What I was doing was each morning when wake up, I unplug then plug back in while I was getting ready for the day and it would go back to 100%. So for the fix. What I have discovered over the past week worked 100% of the time. When go to bed I turn off the phone with the slider. Then plug in charger and let the phone come alive again by itself. But I do not log it in. Just let it sit at the lock screen. Now every morning its at 100% and stays that way for more than an hour (If not used). So it is being fully charged and remaining that way. iPhone will quick charge to 100% by meter but in reality it still needs longer to fully charge. Anyway this process has solved the waking up to less than 100% while still being connected to the charger.

Flash is heading in the direction of a dying breed. HTML5 will take it over eventually, once the world buttheads finally come to agree on its final standards.

I'm English, I bought my iPhone in England, it's set to English (British) But it STILL tells me there is no U in colour or rumor or honor oar anything else. It tells me I spell everything incorrectly like aluminium just because I put all the letters in the word because I'm NOT american. Is there any way of getting an ACTUAL English dictionary for this thing instead of an American one? People spell badly enough as it is, without phones correcting already perfect spelling and swapping it with incorrect spellings! I'll be honest, as I'm sure you have noticed... I'm absolutely infuriated by this! Please can it be sorted out somehow!?

I set my iMac to British and it's correcting as it's supposed to, but you're right, when I set the iPhone to British, it's trying to revert to color, etc.

so when i use to hook up to windows the iphone would let me open up the iphone to get my pictures out but when i hook it up to my macbook it dont show up at all.. i want to get pictures off of this iphone

The iPhone does not show up on the desktop on the Mac, by design (because disk use is not possible, unlike most iPods). You need to use iPhoto or Image Capture to get the pics off the phone. iPhoto is for organizing your pics, sorting them, editing them, etc. You can choose iPhoto albums to sync back onto the phone, if you like. Image Capture is a simple app to pull images off cameras or scanners.
If you have iLife '08 or later, select iPhoto > iPhoto menu > Preferences > General tab and set the When Camera is Connected pop-up to either launch iPhoto or Image Capture. If you have an older version of iLife, that setting is in Applications > Image Capture > Image Capture menu > Preferences.

Airdrop needs a special Wifi chip to create an AdHoc network. The 4S does not have it. That's why. So I guess I know what i'm talking about.

It has everything except the ability to record your own video. I'm dissapointed,it's such an amazing product and it doesn't have this feature. I hope they do an upgrade soon.

I try to connect my iPhone to other phones or even other iPhone and it doesn't find any phone,even the iPad.It only says searching and ''Now visible'' but doesn't connects with anything.

It works with the things it is designed to work with. i.e. headsets, headphones, speakers, car stereos, other iOS devices for peer to peer apps and computers for internet tethering.

Why Doesn't The App Store Display Correctly on my MBP?

Ever since OS updates were included in the App Store, I noticed that product icons never fully load on the storefront. I'm always having to reload the page to get everything to display properly and sometimes that doesn't work! Hey, Apple... fix your store or I'll be using my Windows 7 Virtual Machine more often!

It doesn't sound like an Apple issue but rather one about your user profile.
I have a few apple comptuers running the same OS, and they have no issue. As the iApps store, is an internet store, other people in your area would also be having the same issue if it was the iApps store that was causing the problem.
Try some basic troubleshooting on your computer to see if it helps.
REPAIRING DISK PERMISSIONS -

- click finder in the bottom dock, and in the window that opens, select applications in the left column - scroll through until you see the 'Utilities' folder and double click to open it. Then double click on 'Disk Utility'

- ensure the the "first aid" tab is highlighted blue in the middle of the screen
- click the button at the bottom that says 'Repair Disk Permissions'

If you get any other message OTHER than "The Macintosh HD appears OK", like "the Macintosh HD was repaired successfully" run the "Disk Repair" again, until it displays "The Macintosh HD appears OK".
