Why doesn't the movie I just sent to iTunes from garageband show up at all?

Hey guys, Let me tell you about my predicament. So I made this video using photobooth, and I used garage band to make a track for my video, so I've got the video file, and all the tracks. So I want to "Share" this video right, (send it to itunes under movies, so i can upload it to youtube) so anyway I click share, I scroll down to "Send Movie to Itunes" and the video normalizes/compresses/ etc, and then when it finishes compressing and everything, I check my itunes library and there's nothing there. I've tried doing this five times now. still no luck. I know that people may be having the same problem as me so it would be great if someone could help me out. I really appreciate it, Thanks.

Silly question, but you have selected the "Movies" section in the iTunes Library, right? Then you should see your movie at the top of the list, when you sort your Library by "Date added", after sharing with "Send Movie to iTunes".
If it does not show up in your iTunes Library, you may have a problem with the iTunes Library, then please look in the iTunes Forum for help, I don't dare to give advice with that.
As a work-around share your finished Movie to your disk: "Share > Export Movie to Disk". This will have the advantage, that you get to specify the video settings and have more control over the finished video and the quality. Then import the video to iTunes.

Bought a Belkin Thunderbolt Express Dock at the Apple Store to use with my new MacBook Pro.
When I connected it to my
-20" Mac Cinema display,
-Various USB connected hubs and devices,
-Various Firewire hubs and devices
-My ethernet network from my Cable Modem
Then made the last connection from the Dock to the Thunderbolt port on the MacBook Pro...
All was fine.
But when I made that one last connection - to my desktop speakers via the audio-out port on the dock (earphones icon) nothing happened. The dock did not pick up the audio from the laptop playng an iTunes song or send it to the desktop speakers. When I unplugged the audio cable from the Dock and plugged it in to the MacBook Pro directly, the desktop speakers kicked right in again.
Does Thunderbolt pick up audio-out from a MacBook Pro and carry it to the Dock for connection to my desktop speakers?
Of for some reason, can that signal not be carried by Thunderbolt?
Will I have to get used to the onerous task of unplugging 2 cables from my MacBook Pro when I want to more it to another location in stead of just 1 cable?
But stay with me. Here's the thing.
When this happened I called Belkin Customer Support to ask if they could help me. After taking me through their steps, they agreed that the unit must be defective and agreed to ship me a replacement Thunderbolt Express Dock.
The replacement arrived over the weekend and when I shut down my system and then plugged everything from Dock I purchased into the replacement Thunderbird Express Dock - - - - - the same thing happened!
No signal to the speakers from the dock. Perfect signal when the plug moved from the Dock to the computer itself.
Hence my question:
Does Thunderbolt pick up audio-out from a MacBook Pro and carry it to the Dock for connection to my desktop speakers?
Can it accomplish that function?
Am I really that unlucky to have received 2 defective new Belkin Thunderbolt Express Docks in a row?
Or is it simply a matter of the Dock not handling audio throughput in the manner I am expecting.
Then again, if this is the case, why did the Belkin techies not know this when I called them in the first place.
Yes, I'm going on and on here. But I really don't have time for this.
What's going on here?

OK. No reason to be playing games here. Just surprised that this issue hasn't been brought up here on the community boards as well. Here's the simple solution

After reaching a Level III technician in Belkin customer support today and having spent approximately 4-5 person hours on this issue, we figured out that the Sound/Output preferences in the Apple System Preferences should not be set to "Internal Speakers" but rather set to "USB PnP Sound Device".
Worked like a charm. Simple, elegant solution to a real problem, one likely to be encountered by 90% of the people who buy a Belkin Thunderbid Express Dock off the shelves of any Apple Store to use with a current generation Apple laptop or desktop computer.
But the Level III Belkin technician admmtted that this critical little piece of simple, straightforward information should have been readily available to their Level 1 techies who began helping me 5 person hours ago. Would even have saved Balkin loads of customer service support time.
And so the saga ends
Belkin owes me for helping them learn this precious lesson.

My family has 2 computers. We had all of our music on one, but wanted it on the other. I signed into my Apple ID on the new computer and the music all showed up but wasnt downloaded, which is totally understandable. We downloaded the ones we needed and the rest just stayed there. I had to restore my computer, due to some problems with itunes not detecting my iPhone (unrelated). When I re-downloaded itunes back onto my computer, I signed in to my Apple ID like before, but now the undownloded music that should be in my library waiting to be downloaded is not popping up.

I purchased a video while on my iPod Touch one night, but when I got to Sync my iPod, it won't show up in the movies section on iTunes, only on my actual iPod. Is there something that makes it so that purchases on your iPod can't be transfered to iTunes or am I doing something wrong?

Did you try to transfer it by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
It is a purchased video and not a rented video, right? If you have a 4G iPod rentals can't be transfered to the computer.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If they fail to resolve the issue, this would tend to indicate a hardware issue.

Well, with apps genneraly you do get told ahead of time. I'm not sure of the current algorithm with movies though.
Why not just clear up some space? You can check your usage in your settings btw.

Check the location setting for the iTunes Store is correct.
You might also try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router.
If you are still having problems try a restore.

What are you trying to do? If the movie is on your iPad, the cloud icon will not appear next to the movie. You will see the cloud icon next to the movie if you delete it from your iPad and then you can download it again. That is assuming that the movie is eligible for a free download as not every movie can be downloaded again for free.
This is a screenshot of the purchased tab in iTunes on my iPad. These movies are already on my iPad so there is no cloud icon next to them for another download.
What I don't understand is for what reason are you trying to access the movie? If you want to watch the movie, it is in the videos app. Maybe that is where I am missing the boat.

What's happening is the computer is creating a duplicte of the document and placing it in the new location with a new creation date. The original document I wanted to drag and drop into a new location remains where it started as the "original" document and the new copy has this little arrow protruding up from the lower left of its icon.
At first I thought it was an alias, but it's a copy of the document I thought I was dragging and dropping.
What gives here?

That arrow indicates it is a linik to the original, though. This happens if you wish to drag files, for which you do not have permissions to do this operation, e.g. from Library or System folder. I am pretty sure you do not accomplish this operation from/to folders like Desktop or Documents; if so, there is a problem with your system.

I just want to start off first by saying I just purchased my iPad about six months ago and I'm really enjoying it,but if you're like me,I believe in protecting my privacy.

I changed the about:config to make the rotate gesture move between tabs, and it worked great for well over a year. Now it behaves erratically as described here:

It used to be very controllable to move one tab over, now it is erratic and moves quickly and to unexpected tabs regardless of how slow I do the rotate gesture. This is the main reason I use Firefox over Chrome and I would like to continue to do so unless there is no fix to this.

Just set the browser.gesture.twist.threshold to something around 15-25.

Just to be sure they haven;t been reassigned in your Aperture go to Aperture->Commands->Customize then in the search box in the upper right hand corner enter color.
You should see the keyboard shortcuts and the corresponding add label commands.
If they are set then quit Aperture move you preference file to the desktop and restart Aperture. The instructions for moving the preference file can be found at Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics
