Why doesnt itunes recognize my iphone device

My Iphone is not recognized by my Computer that uses windows 7 and latest version of Itunes. I deleted Itunes programs in Itunes in order. Reinstalled Itunes. My computer recognizes the device and lets me pull pictures off. But Itunes is still not showing my device. I shut down and rebooted my iphone. I even went through the process of restoring my iphone through Icloud. When I go to device manager and try and update the driver it has the most current driver software. I tried everything I could think of and from what I read in the support menu of apple.com. Does anyone have a solution?

In Complete My Album, iTunes fails to identify already purchased portion of album. Example: When looking to purchase newly released songs from An artist or TV show such as Nashville, iTunes fails to identify those already purchased. When looking through store, why doesnt itunes notice songs, albums, videos already in my library. When will iTunes figure this out? It would be a huge benefit to be alerted, so I do not buy the same thing more than once.

Sorry, but officially Apple does not allow redownloads of purchased items other than iPhone/iPod touch applications. The official statement of their policy can be found here, among other places.
For redownloading apps, look here for instructions. For songs, movies, and videos, if you don't have a backup of your purchased items and don't have them on another iOS device, you may be out of luck and will need to repurchase your content.
If you have your content on an iOS device, post back and someone here can help you get them restored. Otherwise you can try contacting iTunes Store Customer Service (select the "Music Purchases" or "Video Purchases" category, as appropriate, then "Lost or Missing Items". You'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) ") and explaining what happened. Reportedly in some cases Apple has allowed redownloading on a one-time basis.

I tried all the recommendations with AMDS and uninstalling itunes and then reinstalling it. Is there a way to install an older version of itunes that works?

And if it still doesn't work when you try to re-open it, I would then reset the device:

Full Restore from Time Machine, will iTunes recognize my iPhone or...

Hi All:
About ago my MB Pro was stolen. Fortunately, I had strong security settings and was diligent about backing up to Time Machine.
I am about to purchase a new iMac to replace the MB Pro, and will be doing a complete restore from time machine to recover my data. However, since my computer was stolen, life has gone on. I have purchased music from iTunes via my iPhone and also added many new contacts. Does anyone know what will happen the first time I try to sync my iPhone to my fully restored image on the new computer? Will iTunes recognize the iPhone as it was before and do a 2 way sync (new music and contacts sent back to iMac) or will it want to override all data on the iPhone and replace it with the existing contacts and music from the restore?

All of your iPhone data (the iPhone backup done by iTunes) is stored in your user folder's library as: USER/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup. I believe some iPhone data is also stored here: USER/Library/Application Support/SyncServices. For some reason, the folks at Apple thought that this was NOT information that needed to be backed up in Time Machine.
So unless you copied and pasted the backup folder into your external drive, your migration of info from the drive to the iMac will not carry any iPhone info to the new computer.
That being said, I'm not exactly sure what the iPhone will do when being plugged in. It will probably ask if you want the phone to be associated with the user account on that iMac, and upon selecting yes it MIGHT try to send your contacts, calendars, etc. to the new iMac. I am not sure about this--if I were you I'd ask a Mac Genius at an Apple Store or call AppleCare. But the Apple Store would be your best bet. The iPhone would not be able to send music, but that's not a big deal since you have it all in the backup anyways.

Mtn Lion fresh Installed. Now how do I make iTunes recognize my iPhone?

I decided to wipe my HD clean and do a fresh install of Mountain Lion on my iMac i5 27". My question relates to iTunes and syncing with my iPhone. My iPhone is no longer recognized by my computer. I would hate to have to wipe my iPhone and start syncing again with a "new computer" (it's still the same machine but with a fresh system). I still have a back up of my old system and was wondering if there is a way around this. Is there a way to manually force iTunes to recognize my iPhone? Is there a file somewhere in my old backup of the entire system that could be transfered to Mountain Lion so it would recognize my iPhone? I hope someone out there has a solution for this. I did a clean install for troubleshooting and I wanted it to keep it clean, so Setup Assistant and Migration Assistant were out of the question. I wanted to transfer my iTunes library and purchases and to be able to sync my iPhone as before. Called Apple and the rep said the only paths were the Assistants or wipe the phone and resync with the new library losing all app data in the process. Sensing the rep may have been a bit obtuse, I emailed Apple and got a call back from another friendly rep who promptly emailed this to me:

If you backed your iOS device up to iTunes, back up your devices on the new computer or manually transfer the backups from your old computer. The backups belong in:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

ITunes recognizes my iPhone, but will not connect to the iTunes Store

After having to re-install all the software on my computer, iTunes will recognize my iPhone 4 okay, but will not log into the iTunes Store using a valid user name and password. I can still log in to the iTunes store on my iPhone, but just not on my computer. I get an error message that says, "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-50). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later." I also conducted the "Run Diagnostics" test for network connectivity tests, device connectivity tests, and device sync tests. All three tests passed with green lights. However, I still get the following error message "One moment please, Connecting to the iTunes Store, Loading..." when I highlight the iTunes Store and attempt to log in with no success. I also disabled the Windows 7 firewall as I did get a previous error message that said iTunes was not enabled in the Windows firewall. I have my computer configured the same exact way I did before having to reinstall all my programs, and iTunes worked fine. I've included some of the comments from the diagnostics below...

why doesnt apple have some way of reporting a stolen iphone mine was stolen and i have the find my phone app and its been online once and nothing since that was in december it was stolen in november of last year. I paid cash for had no insurance on disablility cannot afford another one. I paid cash when I got my back pay now I have no iphone and nothing i can do. apple should have some type of system to see that a phone is stolen or not.

In addition to all of the reasons already given, Apple is not in the business of tracking and listing stolen property. Theft of iPhones, and other smart phones, has reached epidemic proportions in most large cities. The only people who have a real reason to keep records of stolen phones would be the cell service providers.
The new iOS version 7 has an anti-theft protection feature - the Activation Lock. Using that feature makes the iPhone useless to the thief. But the user must turn that on for it to work.
