Assuming that your iPad isn't on iOS 5 (your current version is shown in Settings > General > About > Version on the iPad), then to update to it you first need iTunes 10.5 on your computer - if you don't have itunes 10.5 then you can download it from here http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.
To update your iPad connect it to your computer's iTunes and select it on the left-hand side of iTunes. Then, if the update isn't automatically detected and you are prompted to download it, on the right-hand side on the Summary tab click the Check For Updates button

Why doesnt 3G work on my ipad after the IOS 7 upgrade

I recently upgraded my Ipad through Itunes on my PC and since then I am unable to retrieve email and data using the 3 G network. I have reset all of my user settings and checked my cellular data settings. All seems okay but the device will not recognise the telstra network, even in Brisbane CBD. Can any one suggest a quick fix before I go and buy a competitors device.

I have since posting this performed a full restore of the Ipad using Itunes 11.1.1.11 but to no avail.
Have read other suggestions on the web but unforunately no response from Apple yet. It would seem all the reported benefits of IOS 7 are far out weighed by the loss of service. Has this stuff been tested prior to release??

Here's why there's is no Flash available for iDevices or other mobile devices. Adobe was unable to provide a product that was suitable to the needs of battery powered mobile devices used for Internet browsing. Existing Flash technology used too much memory, ate battery life, and was buggy. Simply put Flash did not work well on mobile devices.
Apple's Steve Jobs led the escape from Flash dependency when Apple introduced the iPhone, and later introduced the iPad. There was a hue and cry over the omission. Time proved Jobs was right on target.
So this is why there is no Flash for your iPhone or iPad or iPod nor for most SmartPhones. Flash has been abandoned by many sites in favor of supported technologies such as HTML5 or by providing their own custom app.

Now, you are not necessarily out on a limb. There are some apps that can display some Flash, but don't count on there ability to display anything using Flash.

Also, note that many sites that use Flash provide their own app for accessing their material. So check with your favorite sites and find out if "there's an app for that."

Go to Settings>Safari>Auto Fill>On .... Names and Passwords>On .... Use Contact Info>On. Make sure that your contact information is correct.
Then quit Settings and Safari completely and restart the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

An external hyperlink should handoff to Safari and leave iBooks.
If that's not happening, perhaps there is something misconfigured on your iPad? Have you manually confirmed those links work in Safari on your iPad?

Facebook videos are still working for me in the Facebook App (using iOS 7.0.6).
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.

My iCloud iMessage account wont work on my Mac, but works on my iPad 2 and iPod Touch.

Yesterday I got a new Macbook Air, and I logged into my iCloud account, and everything is working except the Messages. I would like to use my iCloud account ( My @Me account) as my iMessage. I have been trying to set it up but it wont work, although it does work on my iPad 2 and my iPod Touch. -Please help! - Thnx!

Launch Messages on your MBAir.
From the Messages menu bar top of your screen click Messages > Preferences then select the Accounts tab.
Select your iCloud account on the left then select: Enable this account

Double tap the home button and all apps will be accessible in the multitasking display. Swipe to get to the camera App and drag the thumbnail of the camera app up to the top of the screen to close the app.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the home and sleep buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
Try the camera again after the iPad restarts.

From what I read, this issue is affecting mostly users with iOS 6 installed on their devices. If you are able, upgrade to iOS 7. My mom called me yesterday with the same issue, upgraded, then it worked fine for her.
If you are not able to upgrade, you'll probably have to wait for Apple to fix whatever is affecting iOS 6.
