Why don't have Apple NB mobile Connection?
I was Really Waiting for this new Update of Apple NB systems thinking about.... I hope this year they really create MAC BOOK AIR with the WAN option...
It's unbelievable that other Brands have this option like SONY, ACER, DELL, SAMSUNG, ASUS,... And There is no one Apple NB With This OPTION...
I Guess that Apple always wanted to be a reference...
Few Time Ago I listened that they didn't make it because of iPad benefits... I could not Understand that someone that Needs a NB would Choose an iPAD before other Laptops with this option...
iPAD and NB work in difference AREAS and Needs in fact they are not in competition...

Why won't my facetime work using the Verizon network? I don't have a separate Internet connection, so I bought the iPad 2 with the cellular data installed...every time I try to use facetime, it tells me that I need to connect to a wifi network & that there is no network connection. ?

Why can't i send text messages to those who don't have apple products?
I am unable to send text messages to those who don't have apple products. Can someone help with how to do this? I know imessages don't work to them, but I should still be able to text them. Help?

If you want to send text messages on your iPad, you may be talking about the recent Continuity Feature. To do this you will also need an iPhone connected to the same wi-fi network.
On your iPhone:
Go to Settings
Then to Messages
Then 'Text Message Forwarding'
Turn on the device you want to send a text message, in your case your iPad.
Your phone should ask a code that it sent to your iPad. In the box type in the code that shows up on your iPad and press Allow.
You should be good to go. -
I have a late 2011 model MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion. I love the AirPlay mirroring feature with Apple TV...BUT, how do I mirror with TVs that don't have Apple TV? I used to run a cable from my mini display port to the HDMI input of a TV. This feature seems to be lost in the Mountain Lion upgrade. Did Apple feel that once Mountain Lion came out that EVERYONE would have Apple TV? There are no settings in System Preferences/Display like there used to be...only for AirPlay Mirroring.
Running a cable to the HDMI port is still supported. (and still works on mine).
If the Arrangement tab in System Preferences > Displays isn't present then it doesn't recognize the physical connection. Double check all cables. If that doesn't work try a PRAM reset:

I have lightroom 5.7. Now I have apple TV to connect my Mac to the TV scree. I wish to do a slide show on the TV. However, on the Mac, using ITunes to share photos with the TV, I cannot locate all photo files. What is the best way to save the slide show and put it where the Mac sharing can find it? So far, I made on one folder in Lightroom, put some photos there and I found them easily. Can this be done with a slide show? Please help quickly! Also worried that the photos I put on the new folder are hard to find afterwards, when the show is done. Where do they go when I delete from from the new folder?I am not alone
Not that I'm aware of. You just export JPEG copies to a folder that you can point iTunes to. For instance, I have created a folder in my Pictures folder called Apple TV. And within that folder I have other folders of pictures that I can choose from in iTunes to share with Apple TV. But there doesn't seem to be any way to share a Lightroom slideshow. If you have laid to create a video file that would probably work. Apple TV is a little clunky in my opinion. Some things are a little more difficult to do now than they were a while back. I probably haven't provided you with much help, but just keep experimenting and I think you will figure it out.

I'm trying to update my daughter's Ipad2 to the new IOS 8 and it's got stuck on the connect to ITunes display. We don't have a computer to connect it to and it's never been connected to one. How do I get past this?
You can try a soft-reset of pressing and holding both the home and sleep buttons for 10 to 15 seconds so that it reboots, but you are likely to get the same screen. If it does then it will need to be connected to a computer's iTunes so that it can be reset back to factory defaults - do you have a friend with a computer with iTunes installed on it, or is there an Apple store nearby that you could try going to (if there is then preferably make a Genius Bar appointment at it, or don't go at a busy time) ?
Has she been backing up to the cloud ? If she has then she should be able to restore to that. If not then what she can redownload for free from the stores will show in the Purchased tabs in the store apps. -

I can no longer use my ipad to show Netflix on my TV since upgrading to ios7. I don't have Apple TV or airplay icon showing. What can I do to correct this problem?
This issue is with Netflix upgrade. I spoke to Netflix and here is the solution. Remove Netflix app from Ipad and reload the app version 5.0.1. This updated version will correct the problem.

It partly has to do with form factor. To get a Mac Mini, iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air as slim as they are, the video is always integrated into the main board. Windows laptops are the same way for the same reason. They aren't designed to have a video card that can be swapped out.
The only way to buy a Mac with an actual card is the Mac Pro, where you currently have a choice of the ATI Radeon HD 5770, or an upgrade to the 5870.
Most PCs are towers, which by design always use a video card, so you can choose pretty much whatever you want to stick in it. More than that, PCs still use plain ol' BIOS, which greatly increases the choices of cards available.
Mac Pros don't have that luxury. Video cards for the Mac need Mac firmware on them to be recognized during startup by Open Firmware in older Macs, and EFI in newer Macs. While it's the same PCI 2.x slot, you can't just slap any video card you want in there. -

I can't find the AirPlay menu through control centre on iPad mini. I don't have Apple TV. Means I can't stream some content (Netflix is uselessnow)Everything worked Ok but today an error message said I couln't stream video to TV. The main problem isn't "my phone isn't rooted" but "Devices are sold crippled"
