Why don't I ever get the address I am seeking?

When I search on Firefox, I never get a list that actually contains the site I want. Instead, I get a bunch of sites that may eventually take me to the site I want, but to use them I either have to put up with a lot of bull or pay first. Recently one of those sights charged me $30 just to get to a site I could have connected with using Internet Explorer at no charge. I have never paid on IE.
Don't you ever list the actual sites in your search list or is it always just satellite sites whose sole purpose is to make money?

Be sure to check if the notifications are enabled in Settings > Notifications and check what does appears in the notification center.
If it's everything configured and it doesn't work as it should this issue may be resolved by resetting all settings in Settings > General > Reset.
If that doesn't work, create a backup of all your content and restore the device.

Who knows how to get the address from a map struct, and what's the meaning of the eighth argument (addr) of ufs_getpage() ?
I developed a modular to encrypt certain files. The approach is: I�fll change the vnode's v_op pointer when opening a file which should be decoded. I make the vnode->v_op point to my own ops struct. I made a new ufs_getpage function like below:

I think the address is the faulting address in segmap.
But why not have a look at the file event management framework in NFSv4:
http://cvs.opensolaris.org/source/xref/on/usr/src/uts/common/fs/fem.c
To support NFSv4 delegation, FEM provides hooks to intercept filesystem operations.
Maybe you could use that to implement what you want? Probably safer than doing what you are doing now. Go see fem_install().

Why can’t BT ever get an order right?
I placed an order for a telephone and broadband package last week on the 15th with an install date of Friday 25/10/13. I paid my line rental up front and got an email with the order details stating I should get another confirmation email within 5 days.
6 days later surprise, surprise no email. So I ring the number to call on the email and get through to Robo-BT the talking twit. It asks me to explain my problem and will then put me through to the right department which of course it doesn’t because it doesn’t understand human. 20 minutes later with only two disconnects I finally get through to a human and begin the BT Shunt between departments; three in total only taking 25 more minutes. I then get told the order is stuck somewhere in one of BT’s systems and needs to be cancelled and restarted because unlike any other company on the planet BT can’t just fix something or move the order along or manually progress it, they have to pick the worst possible solution to a problem! So they cancel the order and tell me I will be refunded the month I have already been paid (Which I haven’t as yet!)
After going through all the order details again (which were in front of the advisor on the old order!) and repeatedly telling her no when she kept trying to hard sell extras I didn’t want, we finally got to the appointment stage and I was then told… “Good news! We can have an engineer out on the 22nd of November!” I replied: “WHAT?!?!?! That’s over a month away and my first appointment was for this Friday? Why can’t you get an appointment before then?” she said “The engineers must be busy!” She said you can still use your BT ID to log on to BT Wi-Fi to get internet access in the meantime. So I said yeah whatever but I couldn’t make the 22 so said to make it for the 28th of November.
Once the email came through confirming the order again I noticed the BT Internet email hadn’t been setup and therefore I can’t even get in to BT Wi-Fi to see if it works! So to sum up:
I’ve paid out £141.00 for a service BT has cancelled and not refunded!
I have to wait 6 and a half weeks before I can get a phone line!!! Surely that’s in breach of the SLA’s and I should be entitled to some form of compensation or the appointment being rebooked for Friday again?
I’ve got no BT Email and can’t access BT Wi-Fi which may or may not provide some form of internet service. I’m not counting on anything good from looking at the thousands of bad reviews and poor rates it’s got on the Google Play Store!
Who can I contact to sort out this mess?

I got my Macbook Air from a family member and I can't get my address book on my computer. What do I do to get the address book on it?

I purchased an Air Mac and can't get the address book on it. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do. I have an IPhone and an IPad and they both have clouds but I don't see one on my Air Mac.

To unhide your purchases
Open the Mac App Store.
Choose Store > Sign In, then enter your Apple ID and password.
Choose Store > View My Account.
Click on View Hidden Purchases from the Account Information page.

How can I get the address book to sort by "Last" name (using v 31.3.0).

After a computer crash, I had to load Thunderbird (v31.3.0) back into my machine running Windows 8.1, and I successfully imported my address book back up file into Thunderbird (v31.3.0).
My problem is that I don't see an option to sort the address book by "Last" name, which was available with the version of Thunderbird I had before the crash.
How can I get the address book to sort by "Last" name?

In 'Address Book'
Select address book
'View' > 'Show name as' > 'Last/First'
The you can sort by Name.
Either click on 'Name' column header to change sort order,
If reversed, then click on 'Name' column header again to reverse the order.
Or
'View' > 'Sort By' > choose 'Name' and 'Ascending'

Can't get Firefox to open a new tab as my homepage or a specific url. Alwatys get 'The address isn't valid'

When opening a new tab, I keep getting 'The Address isn't valid'. Went through all the fixes given in previous threads, changing the url in about:config, running Firefox in safe mode (problem still exists with plugins disabled) resetting Firefox, changed newtab settings to about:home etc, restarted, deleted cookies. Nothing seems to work. Some other program seems to be overriding the Firefox settings. May be a virus. I am using the latest McAfee software.
I once had an add-on that brought up thumbnails with a new tab but I removed that a while back.
On the right hand side search bar of firefox I can see that Bing is one of the dropdown search engine choices not that it should make a difference but I thougth they were sometimes a bit aggresive.
Anyhow, would love to know if there is a solution as it's making me suspicious of having an undetected visus or hijacking.

In the mean time I installed a plug-in that does this for me. I used My Homepage 1.2 and it's done the business.
Still don't know what was causing the problem. (And it wasn't a typo, I checked and copied and pasted urls from other locations...)

How do I get the address of a LV array?

I try to pass a 1D array of ShortInt to an external DLL. I found many solutions for C DLLs (using the Call Library Function Node) but this doesn' work for my COM / ActiveX DLL. The external function expects a simple integer value as reference pointer to an array. The array is created in LV and will not be resized by the external function.
Any ideas how I can get the address of my array, send this pointer to the DLL and get my array filled with data that way? I tried typecasts (array => int) but they don't work that way.

The problem is not accessing the COM-DLL. This works fine. The DLL I have handles a datafile, I can access different integer and string-fields with the COM DLL, the only thing that doesn't work is getting data from the file into an array. The DLL-Method expects an pointer that points to an already initialised array.
The Call Library Function Node automatically passes the address of a connected array as a pointer, how can I do that with a COM-DLL?

With the iPad connected to your computer's iTunes, when you select the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes and the Apps tab that then appears on the right-hand side, are the apps that you want on the iPad ticked/selected in the selection list and have you then clicked on Sync at the bottom right of that window ? Do you get any error messages when you try to sync them to the iPad e.g. have you got the relevant iOS version on your iPad for them (Settings > General > About > Version on the iPad or the Summary tab on your computer's iTunes) ?

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

Getting the Address Information based on the Partner Number & Partner Role

         I have a requirement where in I am populating the Address into a Custom Segment Z1E1ADRM1 where I am reading the Partner Data from E1ADRM1 Segment. It has the PARTNER_Q which contains the Partner Role (WE,AG,RE,RG etc...) and PARTNER_ID which contains the Partner Number. Now, using VBPA Table, I am populating the STREET4 and STREET5 manually by passing the Address Number got from VBPA Read.
        Instead, is there any Function Module / BAPI which can be used to get the Address Number / Address Information based on the Partner Role and Partner Number as Input Parameters? Please Let me know.

But if you're looking in the App Store on the iPad, in the Updates area, and you still see the icons, they presumably now say "Open" to the right instead of "Update". They will stay that way as a history of what you have done. They will disappear after a while - something like 30 days. That is fine.
