Why don't iFrames load in Safari 5?

I was visiting http://www.ikzoekbaas.nl/campagne/widgets and I have been there before I upgraded to Safari 5. The widgets themselves where visible as they should be between the lines of code, but now with Safari 5 iFrames aren't shown anymore.
I also have the same problem with the website http://www.greetz.nl where the thumbnails don't load, but when I check it in Firefox, it works fine.
Is there a plugin I can download to get that to work again or some settings I need to adjust or are iFrames deemed obsolete by Apple?

There is definitely something strange going on with iFrames on Safari 5. I cannot get the embedded video to work anymore on my site. I am using a Google Gadget on google sites so I don't have many options for getting around this bug... see here:

Yet it works on Chrome, Firefox etc etc.

Why don't Firefox load the updated JCPenney web page?

I've just spent nearly an hour on the phone with JCPenney, and then we got cut off. The gal is telling me where things are at on their new web site, and I'm telling her that no such thing appears on my page.
After we got cut off I opened Google Chrome just for the heck of it and used my LastPass to login to JCPenney. LO & BEHOLD!!!! All those things the gal was trying to tell me are on the page -- are actually on the page.
Now why will Google Chrome load JCPenney's new web site while Firefox continues to load the old site?

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
1. Clear Firefox's Cache
orange Firefox button ''or'' Tools menu > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here -- note: if you are in the middle of a purchase, this might clear your cart
While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Why won't Flash load in Safari

Using the Last OSX version, the latest Safari version, but I can not get Flash to play in
Safari. I can see it in the Internet-Plugiins folder and it says it is loaded, if I try and install
I get an uninstall window. When I search Safari for Plugins I get a blank page. Any help would
be appreciated. Also plays in Firefox no problem...

If you can't install or update Flash, follow these instructions.
If you have installed the latest version of Flash, please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 8. Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.
Step 2
From the Safari menu bar, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Close the window. Then select
           ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
Step 3
If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, log in to YouTube and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.

a. If you get a warning of a "blocked" or "outdated" plug-in, then select the Security tab in the Safari preferences window. In the list of plugins on the left, there should be one—and only one—entry for "Adobe Flash Player," showing the same version number that you installed. Select that entry. In the Safari preferences window, select the Advanced tab and uncheck the box marked
          Stop plug-ins to save power
Step 6
Open this folder as in Step 4:

Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
          Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
Step 7
Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
Step 8
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
          Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
Then click the button marked
          Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.
Step 9
Select
          Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.

Why wont Livejournal/Dreamwidth load in Safari on my iPhone?

Everytime i try to load it, or an entry it tells me "too many redirects". Also, when i login with my correct info, it tells me i'm wrong!

I had this same issue and finally just figured it out...I noticed that Livejournal was getting stuck in a loop trying to set its session cookies and this problem didn't arise on any of my desktop browsers, so I checked my Safari settings in iOS. It turns out somehow my "accept cookies" setting had gotten changed from "visited" to "never."
I have no idea how that happened, possibly it was my recent update to 5.1 but there's no way for me to be sure. Anywys after I changed it back all sorts of web sites, including Livejournal, started behaving properly again on my phone. Hope this helps!

Why aren't videos loading on Safari but they are loading quickly and effortlessly on Firefox?

For example... I attempted to watch a music video on Vevo.com on Safari but the video wouldn't load. I then tried loading the same video on Firefox and it loaded almost instantly. I appreciate your time and hope to hear from someone soon

That site definitely requires the Flash plugin for streaming music video content.
Try troubleshooting the Flash plugin > Troubleshoot Flash Player | Mac OS
And try deleting Flash cookies > Flush.app – Flash Cookie Removal Tool For OS X | MacHacks.TV
And empty your Safari cache.

Why don't any of the safari extension in the toolbar work in google

I use google for my home page in safari. I added the gmail counter weather and some others to my tool bar however they do not work... Why????

Find my iPhone Maps not loading in Safari on Mac

I have a very strange thing happening where when I use "Find my iPhone" in Safari on my Mac the maps don't load. I just get a blue layer load with the location dot showing. The maps load with no problem in Chrome and Firefox. I don't know why they aren't loading in Safari.
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

TS3230 Why aren't Google and Yahoo loading in Safari with Maverics? After several failed attempts, a "wireless diagnostics" zipped folder appeared on my desktop. I'm using a macbook pro with OSX 10.9.2

I updated to Maverics and now yahoo and google do not load in Safari - i get a "connot connect to server" warning. other websites load just fine.
Also, after several attempts to access the aforementioned sites, a zipped file/folder appeared on my desktop titled "WirelessDiagnostics"
What in the world is going on here? I attached a screenshot of the zip file.

Why does YouTube video load so slow in Safari

When I go to YouTube to look at any video with Safari ( 5.1.7 ) on my iMac the video never loads up correctly. I try to pause the video to let it load up but the video won't pause right away. Then I get the spinning beach ball. The video will not play until the entire page is loaded and the video has to be loaded before it will play correctly. This has been going on for at least four or five months. Now if I use Firefox ( 4.0 ) there is no problem at all. I don't want to use Safari for everything and then use Firefox just to look at YouTube. Anybody have any clues or answers?

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box. Don't use the Safari-only Guest login created by Find My Mac.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The Guest login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under Mac OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, you can’t boot in safe mode.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

Just checked. The png still does not display on iPhone(5) or iPad(3). The image was also made by me in pixelmator and both (png and jpg) were exprted from pixelmator.

When i scroll through my photos in my library (in loop mode) why don't the photos load properly and the photos still blurred?

LR may not have rendered the necessary previews yet.
Did you render only minimal previews in your import settings?
How big have you specified your standard previews in your preferences? It should match the screen you are mostly using for image viewing.
Then you can invoke the command to let LR render standard previews from the Library. LR will first scan how many previews it already has, then actually create the missing ones.

Flash is not supported on the iPad or iPhone - and as Adobe have announced that they are stopping development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.
Browser apps such as Skyfire, iSwifter, Puffin and Photon 'work' on some sites, but judging by their reviews not all sites. Also some websites have their own apps in the App Store.
