Why don't lyrics support hard returns and left justification?

When I copy and paste lyrics into the lyrics field everything looks fine. But when I sync on my iPhone, suddenly they are centered on the screen and they seem to have lost the hard returns. Is there anyway to fix this?
Thanks!

Programmers have changed the world only because they don't think,
Leave it the way it is!Don't mind..
If java 'did this for you' then teachers of the
language, such as myself, would lose the opportunity
to instruct newbies on some very important concepts
early in the program.I can't agree with this with a reason,
when started learning Java i was already knowing C and C++.
So the path i follwed for learning was C--> C++ --> Java.
So it doesn't become as such difficult to learn Java.
Nowadays when a student come to class he wants to learn Java Directly,
And that's the point where all problem is,
Serveral students ask me If we can use System.out.println() to print to console ?? What is for input??
Because the new commer is not going to start with awt Or Swings directly??
why not to have simple support fot input??
All people here are advicing to use a class file designed for Input, So my question is why Java itself don't provide such Class in JDK itself??
Isn't it a basic need ??
I know that java is not made console application ?
Buf for convinience can't they add this feature (e.g. we have Adapter classes, they are also for cnvinience, right?? )
Any views are appriciated..

  • Why don't Apple support Skype?

Why don't Apple support Skype like they supports twitter and soon Facebook

Because Skype support Skype, they wrote/own it not Apple.
If you are having problems with Skype on your iPod Touch look on thier support forums to see if there's a fix or someone who can help you there.
If your question is why you can't use FaceTime to contact a Skype contact you can't but, have you searched the App Store for Skype and downloaded the App, it works like a dream.

  • With LR5 how can one synchronize work done between a local hard drive and the cloud?

I have the LR5 program on my PC; the data is stored on the computer's hard drive; no problems. In the future if I were to switch to the online LR5 and cloud service could I continue using my PC's hard drive where the photos and catalogs are and have a backup on the Adobe cloud? If yes, is there a way to save all changes to both the local hard drive and cloud? If these two sets of work by synchronized? How does this work?

The Adobe Creative Cloud is not something used with LR how you’re imagining.   CC is a licensing and software-delivery mechanism, not a place to store your current working photos in large numbers or a place to run software from or in.
LR CC is not software run in the cloud via a thin client, it’s still just desktop LR licensed via logging into CC with your AdobeID.
LR and your photos are stored locally just like with the serial-number-licensed LR.  You can sync local photos back and forth to an iPad via the cloud and you can store a few photos or other project-related files in the 2GB cloud storage, but that’s about it for what the cloud adds.

  • Why don't iMovie support native HDV capture and editing?

i would like to see iMovie HD 6 to support native HDV capture and edit. is it possible?

no, FCE-HD (what an abreviation!) uses the same trick as iM-HD, converting HiDef into AIC....
native HD is really more for the pros... yet! I think, the basic problem to be solved first is -r media, meaning, any HD/blue-ray-DVD-r disks, which make it possible for the average user to store his/her products.... but as far as I follow the discussion, right now the industry is caring more for commercial disks, and that HDMI "problem" (broadcasting can include a copyprotection, so no use of any HD/DVD HiDef recorders...!)... finally, we can record only our selfmade movies... maybe that's a little less joy...
actually, converting finished HDmovies into h264 with a high bitrate and storing that onto hd is the only realistic option........

  • Why is there no support for up and down arrow keys when scrolling through presets in adobe raw

seems like it would be common sense to support such a basic function, especially when having to scroll through about 100+ different presets(VSCO Film). We need support for arrow keys so that it may be easier to compare colors much more quickly. Also the support for comparing 2 of the same images would be even more awesome, RAW image on left, and Presets on the right, or compare different presets to one another.

You can submit it as a feature rquest, then forget about and go back to your life.

  • Why don't my Apple USB keyboard and mouse work in Win XP after bootcamp driver installed

    Hey there,
I just installed Win XP Pro + SP2 using Bootcamp 3.0 on my Mac Pro 1.1 (2006) which is running Snow Leopard (10.6.8).  The Win XP installation went flawlessly and everything seemed to be working OK (mouse & keyboard were fine) until I installed the Bootcamp drivers from my OS X installation DVD.  The installation didn't report any problems, but when it was finished, the keyboard (Apple USB keyboard) and mouse (Logitech USB mouse) stopped responding.  No power to the mouse at all makes me believe that it is actually the USB drivers themselves that have failed.  Rebooting WinXP didn't solve the problem - it boots WinXP just fine (and fast!), shows the Bootcamp Help screen, but no mouse or keyboard, a.k.a., USB, response.
Can I recover from this somehow?
    Help please?
    Thanks,
    Ron

    Problem solved.
It seems that the boot camp 3.0 drivers installed from my 10.6.8 DVD weren't sufficient.  I repeated the install from scratch, but rather than rebooting as soon as the BC 3.0 drivers were installed, I allowed the Apple Update utility to D/L and install the BC 3.1 and 3.2 updates.  Viola!  Everything works brilliantly.  My Mac Pro is now the best Windows PC I have ever owned

  • Why don't I see the 'Emoticons' and 'Format' tabs when composing a message in the new Yahoo Mail, using Firefox, but I do when using Internet Explorer?

I have been using the new Yahoo Mail on Firefox. But today I noticed that when I write an email (Compose/Reply/Forward), I cannot format it. Only the 'Attachments' tab is present, but the 'Emoticons' and 'Format' tabs are not.
But when I do it using Internet Explorer, all those tabs are present and I can format and do whatever.
Is there something wrong with my Firefox? I have restarted my computer, I have shut it down, but my Yahoo Mail remains problematic when using Firefox.

Firefox only allows you to save executable files. If you want to add an option to run them you can use the OpenDownload² add-on - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/opendownload-10902

  • Why don't you support Gravatars on the forum?

Gravatars provide much better, personalised Avatars.
They are 'proper' Avatars, so there should be no technical problems with using them.
The current list of Avatars is, quite frankly, so last century...

In addition to what V. P. said, note that you can create a custom avatar here that is exactly the same as your Gravatar.  The catch is, you have to participate and help others out so you can reach level 2 (IIRC) before you can do that.  A bit of a carrot in front of your nose, so to speak.

  • HT204053 Why don't my new Apps go ahead and download onto my phone?

Why don't my apps go ahead and download into my iPhone now?  There is storage space?

    Hi Cabbagejuice,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.  I would check to make sure Automatic Downloads are on for the same Apple ID that you are using on your iPhone:
iTunes Store: How to enable Automatic Downloads
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4539
Enabling Automatic Downloads on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your device.
Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Tap to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type.
If they are already on, I would also suggest restarting and resetting your iPhone to see if that resolves the issue:

  • Why is saving duplicates so hard?

Mountain Lion takes me even one step farther away from the old, easy and effective "Save as" command. Now to save a duplicate of a document, I have to "Duplicate" "Save" pull down on the iCloud button to reveal my documents folder on my Mac, push on the "Expand" arrow to get to the correct folder inside my documents folder, remove the word "copy" from the file, and at last "Save". Why so complex? I just want to have a duplicate on my computer so I can work, as I often have to, off line.

Wow, people get so sensitive these days.
My point was that Logic is a Pro app and you have to expect that it is "deep". Nothing personal, really.
I wanted to be brief in my first response, but because you seemed to misinterpreted that comment, let me respond to your statements in more details:
"im stuck with having to use logic because fruities doesnt work on mac"
Why are you stuck? If you bought a new Mac then you have Garageband for free on your system. And as kcstudio suggested, this might be the better tool for what you want to do.
"apple have purposefully made music making hard"
You are not serious with that statement, are you? Panceter told you already where Logic is originated and I would argue that Logic became easier since Apple bought it.
"but im sick of spending hours on logic and logic tutorials for no results at all"
No results at all, really? Maybe this is a hint that this is the wrong app for you. I would argue that lots of Logic users have spent hours it with and got great results.
"Ill definitely have to persist and keep going with logic"
No, you don't have to. You tried already for hours (with no results at all), then why you want to continue. Above all, music making should also be fun and it seems that you aren't getting any out of using Logic.
    Finally
Even though you excluded me from your cheers, I don't have any hard feeling and instead, in the holiday spirit, I want to offer you a little Christmas gift. Click on my name in the header, there you find the link to my website with my contact email address. Send me a note and I'll email you a free copy of my book "GarageBand 11 - How it Works", the pdf version or the ibooks version for the iPad. Then you can decided if this app is a better, less frustrating match for you.
    Cheers to everyone, including mikey-p_s0n

  • GREP question, hard return&tab after lines ending in (, space)

I have a problem that I have been banging my head against the wall for hours trying to figure. I have pages and pages of remote codes I need to format in a specific way. This specific way causes a problem that creates the right side of my columns to look haggard with spots of comma spaces, example:
    Abex                 5011, 5286
    Accurian            5140, 5452
    Accuscan          5005, 5014
    Admiral              5003, 5004,
           5005, 5014, 5015, 5018,
           5025, 5035, 5040, 5041,
           5055, 5165, 5308, 5455
I hope that comes out looking like I mean it
There is a picture if it helps. Anyhow. I need it to look like this:
I hope this helps. The thing is I have figured this out before and I forgot to save the style. I thought I did. I didn't. Sucks. But I did make it so that on lines ending with a comma and space it would hard return and tab.
Please please help. This has my mind numb trying to figure it out and I have pages and pages of these codes to work through.

    @ GrantH
That is an easy fix, which I would easily do, but it doesn't resolve the issue that the lines should not end in commas.
    @Jongware
None taken. I have done something like this before. I know I have because the second picture I included is from a manual I have done before that shows it as such. Granted... that was a while ago and I may be mistaken on the text given for input. However, I'm "pretty" sure I remember having the same issue with the commas at the end and resolving it.
    @Hakkenlid
This pretty much works for me with the exception of a few trouble spots where the Find just seems to skip over perfectly good matches. So far, this gives me a lot more help than where I was at though.
    @Hakkenlid
This is what we are going with. It keeps the most readability and completely resolves my comma issue. Saved the expression for later. I really appreciate your help. My Friday started off to a much better start that I was looking forward to.

  • Why does Apple not support Java Runtime Environment?

I am a U.S. Armed Forces Service Member, and I have ran into this problem so many times along with millions of other people, and I would like to ask Apple why don't you support JRE?  My job requires me to use websites that is designed for government use to run on Java. I travel a lot, and I work on the go; I love using my apple products such as the IPad, but when it comes down the sites that I must use, I can't. It is very frustrating and impossible to get the job done without accessing these sites. Apple, you would get so much more support/business if you would allow your faithful followers to have access to Java. Specifically JRE 1.5+.  I still do not understand the reason why Apple has consistently refuse to work with Java based application. Apple, please swallow your pride and give your supporter something to keep going with. Thank you.
    Regards,
    U.S. Navy Service Member.

    One take on it here:
    http://www.codenameone.com/3/post/2013/01/why-oracle-wont-issue-java-for-ios-any time-soon.html
As James said, you can comment to Apple, but given the many serious security problems that have and continue to be discovered in Java, the chance of Apple implementing or allowing a Java engine in iOS is vanishingly small.
Expanding on what Phil said, there is at least one app/service combination,  VirtualChrome, which says it supports Java. But you could achieve the same result with probably more control over security by just taking control of a desktop system running Java.
    Regards.

  • Why don't the photos load properly

When i scroll through my photos in my library (in loop mode) why don't the photos load properly and the photos still blurred?

LR may not have rendered the necessary previews yet.
Did you render only minimal previews in your import settings?
How big have you specified your standard previews in your preferences? It should match the screen you are mostly using for image viewing.
Then you can invoke the command to let LR render standard previews from the Library. LR will first scan how many previews it already has, then actually create the missing ones.

  • Published site has "Â"s after each hard return.

I finally got my site to publish (not on imac), but after each hard return, and in some unexplained places, there are "Â"s and, periodically, another funky rounded "E" symbol. I tried to change the font to see if that helped, but it didn't make a difference. Any ideas?

That "test" is just to determine what causes the problem and in this case it looks like the server setting. It's not so much that it's "wrong" but, being a school, maybe it's just set up in the "old" way. Again according to the page:
"iWeb pages are in UTF-8 encoding so that they can accomodate all languages, not just English and those of W. Europe"
So, now that we know that the server is forcing everyone to view using Latin encoding instead of Unicode, you can either have them change it (and, again there may be a good chance they won't understand the request, but give it a try) OR change it yourself IF you have an .htaccess (or .charset) file.
At the bottom of the page, it mentions that if these aren't available to you, then you can open your .html pages with TextEdit (set to Latin) and manually remove those characters OR open your pages one at a time with Text Edit set to UTF-8 encoding, then do Save As and choose the Western Latin ISO.
If you can get your OIT guys to set this up FOR you, it will make a lot less work for you. If you can't, then it's not the end of the world, you'll just have to re-save all your docs (before uploading) so that their server won't display the problem characters.

  • Why Apple don't systematically support the latest version of OpenGL and OpenCL with a new OS release?

Why Apple don't systematically support the latest version of OpenGL and OpenCL with a new OS release?

Maybe because it's necessary to build on a version that's been out long enough to be stable before releasing? Who knows?
Are there specific features you're missing?
