I wish I had an answer for you but I don't. I can say that I have had this issue as well. I just bought a macbook pro yesterday and have been dowloading songs from my purchased list on itunes (instead of the ol' usb route from my imac) and things have been getting stuck on prossesing file.Its annoying. Dont let it discourage you from having a mac though. I switched to mac about 3 1/2 years ago because its what my girlfriend (now wife) used. Every system has its problems but itunes is something else. It has become super bloated and ussually if something on my mac is ******* me off...... its itunes. Apple needs to spent some time and money revamping the thing. Just thought maybe if someone other than you is having the problem it might not your computer but itunes itself. Good luck.

Please turn off your caps lock. All caps indicates shouting, is considered rude and is difficult to read. Many will not read such posts.
If it doesn't finish downloading then just click Store>Check For Available Downloads
There is no need to keep re-buying it.

Why do I get an error just before a rented movie finishes downloading?

I rented a movie on my Mac, with the intention to then transfer it to my ipad 3 and watch it there. When I transfered it to the ipad, somehow something happened and it dissapear. I have been trying to re-download it whithout success because just before it finishes, and error appears.
Anyone has any solutions?

The error goes: err = 5102.
I looked at other posts and it seems people are trying to delete the file complitely. It is not my case, I just want it to finish download so I can watch it on my mac or transfer it to the ipad.
As you can see in the photo its supposed to have downloaded complitely.

UPDATE: From reading some other post I believe that my large video files in iphoto are lagging my imovie so I guess I should have never imported the thumbnails, but the question is now how can I delete them from imovie? (so i can just import them manually when I work on a video) I go into the iphoto folder and see a folder labeled "thumbnails" and in that are 3 folders labeled 2011 2012 2013 and one more item (not a folder, but a piece of paper icon) but its labeled imovie data. I really dont want to delete anything but was wondering if this has anything to do with it.

Audiobooks are not backed up by iCloud. You must do this manually.

You probably need to use the Microsoft Installer cleanup Utility.
Here is a method for removal, clean up and reinstall:
Download a fresh copy of iTunes and the stand alone version of Quicktime (the one without iTunes)

Download and install Microsoft Installer cleanup utility, there are instructions on the page as well as the download. Note that what you download is the installer not the program – you have to run it to install the program. The installer doesn't give any message to confirm the installation.

Now use the following method to remove iTunes and its components:

*If you hit a problem with one of the uninstalls don't worry*, carry on with the deleting of files and folders as directed in the method.
When you get to deleting Quicktime files in the system32 folder as advised in the method, you can delete any file or folder with Quicktime in the name.
Restart your PC.
Run the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. (Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up)
Remove any references you find to the programs you removed - strictly speaking you only need to worry about those programs where the uninstall failed.
If you don’t see an entry for one of the programs that did not uninstall, look out for blank entries or numeric entries that look like version numbers e.g. 7.x for Quicktime or 1.x for Bonjour.
restart your PC
Install the stand alone Quicktime and check that it works.
If it does, install iTunes.

Why don't my new subscriptions download anymore

I have used Itunes for years and have added new podcast subscriptions from time to time. Now when I try to subscribe to new podcasts they download into Itunes, but won't sync with my ipod. I have looked at my settings, but don't see anything that is incorrect. Can anyone help?

Under Settings -> Newsstand, there are options where you can turn automatic downloads on or off for each app.
If you have turned them on and are still not working, then there is probably something wrong with the app itself. Reason why I'm saying this is because I'm using iOS6.0.1 and I have no problems with my newsstand apps.

I used to be able to sync purchased movies from iTunes USA and Italy to my iPad 2 and iPod touch 4. No more, even before I upgraded to iOS6.

- Transfer itunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- You can also redownload them by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- When they are in your iTunes library, connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.

Why don't I see the download arrow on my toolbar?

The down arrow indicating downloads used to be on my toolbar but is now gone. If I customize Firefox I can't find the arrow to drag onto the toolbar, so the only way I can see my downloads is if I go to my homepage and then click downloads at the bottom of the screen.

Right-click an empty area of the tab bar and choose Customize. Click the Restore Defaults button near the bottom right.

On icloud I can download a song but in the downloads window it will get to "proccesing 100%" but than it never ends up in my itnues library! What do I do to fix this? Help!

If you are experiencing this issue with iTunes on the computer, try closing iTunes and restarting the program. If you are experiencing is the issue on and iOS device, try closing all open applications and power cycling the device.

Why won't Flash Professional finish downloading

Two days in a row I've tried installing and downloading Flash Professional, and the download stalls at 42%. It has been stalled at 42% downloaded for six hours now. What's wrong with the tie or the downloader?

ChiMaxx please try solution 2 in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html to resolve the current behavior you are experiencing in the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
I would also recommend reviewing Error downloading Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html as it provides a good overview of steps which can be performed to resolve download errors.

Rented movie disappeared before it finished downloading

I rented Easy A using a free movie rental credit. I left it on the computer to finish downloading itunes got closed and when i checked for the movie in my downloads that never finished downloading it wasnt there. I dont have the credit anymore. How can i find the movie?

nevermind. it turns out the movie finished downloading and my sister thought that if she put it on her ipod i would also be able to put it on mine...

Welcome to the Apple Community.
The Apple TV will delete content if it is used to plat something else or is turned off. It only has a limited amount of volatile memory.
If you want to download something for watching at a later time, it would be best doing it from iTunes on your mac/PC and streaming it to the Apple TV when you are ready to watch it.
