when you have the photo stream feature ON every photo you take with ur iPhone, when the iphone connect to any wifi spot that photo will be saved into photo streaming, is not possible when you are not connected to any wifi

The same reason why you can't use it under iOS5. It's exclusive to devices since the iPhone 4S.

Why isn't there an option to send a photo right after taking it?

Currently, after taking a picture you can click on that picture in the lower right corner of the camera screen.
Once you do that, you can choose < Camera Roll, Done, Edit, Trash.
Why isn't there an option to choose that photo and send it as a Message, Email, etc. right there, instead of having to close the camera, go back to your photo albums, then choose the picture (which may take a little while if you have a lot of photos), and then choose the sending method?
Its kind of frustrating when you want to quickly send a pic!

There on my phone running iOS 7.0.4. Reset your phone:
Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.
Bear in mind, won't be there if taking a pic from the lock screen.

Photos blurry after rebuilding photo library

OK, so I followed the directions and completed the rebuilding of my iPhoto library. However, now in the edit window the photos look out of focus (they weren't before!) and when I tried making a book the message I got was that the photos are of "low quality." What do I do now????

What purpose do thumbs serve anyway? Why don't I need them?
Iphoto 5 works like this:
When you import a photo it imports the original and
then creates a low quality Thumbnail image into
folders called "thumbs". The thumbnail is not your
photo just a reference that you see when you view
your iphoto library. In addition if you ever modify
(red eye for example) a photo than iphoto creates a
modified copy of the original...
So you may be asking what does this mean to me

you said you had a back up copy so do this.
- Delete all you iphoto libraries up until this point
then make another copy of you backup.
- DO a search on one of the backup libraries for all
folders called "thumbs" and put them in the trash
- open iphoto and create a new iphoto library.
- import images from the iphoto library folder that
you trashed the "thumbs" from
Note: You will still import what appears to be
duplicates but in actuallity it will be the original
image and then any modified version of any images
that you modified. But at least you wont have those
pesky Thumbnails

Why don't my Podcasts save the last played location after iOS5 upgrade?

After I updgraded my 4G touch to iOS5, when you stop a podcast, play another item then return to the original pod cast, the pod cast starts over at the beginning. Ugh. Previous versions of iOS did not have this problem. If you returned to a podcast it picked up where you last stopped. Is this a hidden iOS5 glitch?

Is there any way to do this without creating a playlist? If not, this is very annoying and should be changed.

Why am I unable to save an edited photo in Photoshop CS3 Mac

I received photos from a friend. I edit the photo and try to save and I get this prompt, "Could not complete your request because of a program error".
If I do a "Save As" I can save it.
Why is that?

I don't think more info is needed here. What is needed is a solution.
I have had the same problem and it seems to stem from the files being transferred on a DVD. Somehow that locks the files as to permissions. But when permissions are checked they are set to "Read and Write". And I have been unable to find a setting that will allow the edited file to be saved no matted where you try to save it. The only solution I have been able to come up with is "Save As". Then you end up with 2 files and have to remember to go back and delete the original file. WHAT A PAIN!!

i got issue. every time when i want to take picture it freezes.
like i press to take photo but it doesnt save and freeze.
i restored it twice but still same issue.
storage is internal and almost empty ...
it really pissing off ... cant take not a single photo ..

what ever is the reason even if it is a 3rd party app. this issue is not there in other devices!! its only in z1 .
we have 3 devices at home and all of them with the same freezing issue and also the white pic at low light.
it seams like a flash reflection or somthing even without case, cover or protector at the back.
if sony said will fix it and they now it thats appreciated and I really dont care about the issue if they admit and they will fix it but wt I care about is WHEN and WHY is that Delay!!
am not comparing here but when APPLE found and issue with the ios 8,1 update they have stopped it and second or third day the new 8.2 update is available.
that service we are waiting from SONY though Im a fan of SONY and Im buying there products long time ago coz I trust the quality part.
I wish they will not put me down coz I made alot of ppl to but the same phone in the last few weeks..
and if this countinued without update I will really be hated..lol

Photo booth freezing after taking photos or videos...

so almost every time i use my iSight and photobooth to take a photo or record a video my mac freezes and i cant force quit or even click on anything. i end up having to manually shut down my mac and then reboot it. it still saves the photos/videos most of the time but its very obnoxious that it freezes after each time i try to take a photo, especially since i just got this MacBookPro a week ago.
has anyone experienced similar problems and know any solutions?

so such problems can be caused by software issues you can fix.
Mac OS X is a robust operating system, but it does require some simple occasional maintenance for best performance. It sounds to me like your Mac may need some maintenance now.
First, you should Safe Boot your Mac. Safe Boot forces an automated OS X disk check and repair routine. If your disk needs significant work, Safe Boot may take several minutes to finish. Do NOT try to use your Mac while in Safe Mode. When your desktop appears in Safe Mode, immediately restart your Mac normally. Use the Safe Boot procedure the first time you start your OS X Mac after any hard shutdown (whenever you "manually shut down my mac".)
When your Mac restarts normally after a Safe Boot, you should repair your startup disk's permissions. Depending upon how much repair is needed, permissions repair may take many minutes or even a few hours the first time you do it. Subsequent runs should take only a few minutes.
For normal maintenance (other than after a hard shutdown,) you can also use Disk Utility rather than a Safe Boot to verify your startup disk.
As soon you have performed your OS X maintenance, try the suggestions in Apple's How to Troubleshoot iSight to test your iSight's function. If you encounter problems after having performed OS X maintenance, try the reset process suggested in the Troubleshooting suggestions. The reset usually restores proper function of the built-in iSight.

Acrobat Pro 7.1.0: Why don't my preferences save?

I'm using Acrobat Professional 7.1.0 on Windows Vista 32, lots of disk space, no error messages, etc.
I'm trying to make some changes to the application preferences: I want the default page display to be continuous, for example. When I exit the application and then re-start it, the changes to the preferences do not persist; they're back to whatever they were before I changed them.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Thanks, Bill, but I'm talking about the application preferences (Edit->Preferences), which are accessible and changeable even when there is no open PDF file.
Let me give an example: in preferences, there is a Startup category that includes the option "Display splash screen." That's clearly an application preference, not a preference associated with a particular file. If I check the box to display the splash screen at startup, then click OK, then go back into preferences, my selection is still there: there's still a check mark next to "Display splash screen" So far, so good.
I then exit Acrobat and start it up again. The application preferences now show that "Display splash screen" is UNchecked. It didn't save the change I made. IT DID, HOWEVER, remember that when I was last in the application preferences, I was in the Startup category, because that's the category it selects by default. If I choose a different category, say Page Display, exit and then re-start Acrobat, it defaults to the Page Display category but doesn't register any of the changes I made.
So I'm wondering why my changes to the application preferences aren't sticking. Any other ideas? Is this a bug? An installation problem? It seems to work just fine in all other respects.

Crashes after taking photos

My iPhone crashed twice yesterday while saving a photo. My battery was rather low when it happened around 9% and later around 3%. In both cases I had to switch the phone back on as it didn't restart by itself. Later that day, after fully charging I tried to sync with iTunes. Then iTunes reported Error -39 which apparently indicates a problem with the photos. So I disabled synchronization of photos, removed all photos from my phone and then re-enabled it.
My guess is that the phone had problems writing to the device storage and crashed for the same reason iTunes could not sync. Will keep an eye on this though. Did anybody else have this or similar issues. I am a little worried that the internal disk is corrupt. How can i check the drive on the phone for any errors etc.

Photo Booth Camera Resolution after taking photo

Sometimes after I take a photo using photo booth that has an effect like the roller coaster, the image being displayed from the camera has an awful red tinge to it. I have to shut down photo booth and start it back up again to get the image it is capturing to be acceptable. I thought it might be my imac (brand new) so I went back to a apple store and tried it on one of theirs and got the same problem. Any ideas??

Why don't I get iRadio after installing iTunes 11.1.1 using OS X Mountain Lion in the US?

After installing iTunes 11.1.1 using OS X Mountain Lion, I do not have iRadio (or I cannot find it) in iTunes. Would anyone know a solution? Thanks!

At this point I recommend selling/returning your iPhone, and getting an older one that still has an older supported iOS.
Or buying a used or refurbished Mac that will support the iPhone. http://www.macsales.com/ and http://www.powermax.com/ are both good places to go, and the Apple Store has its own corner of older Macs to go to. Recognize PowerPC applications are not supported at higher than Mac OS X 10.6.8, and that Macs newer than July 20, 2011 can't run 10.6.8 without serious finagling. Migrating from old to new Mac also takes some work.
Recognize you don't have to buy the latest and greatest. Because if you do, you'll have to always try to make sure the software and hardware are running in sync. This is the down side of having integrated products. Eventually it does create older machines that can't run with newer devices.

Why don't some programs quit after closing the last window?

Some programs, like quicktime and preview, do not quit when you close the last window.
eg. open a pdf from a website, view it in Preview and close the window. Preview remains open for no reason.
Im sure this is supposed to be some sort of time saver but it isn't because it consumes unnecessary resources and it requires two steps to quit.
I miss my Window days when the little X quickly killed the app and you could move on to the next task.
So how can I change this setting?

I'm not suggesting it's wrong in a technical sense, but that it's wrong from a user point of view. It's probably only become as issue, when I think about it, since the development of an effective sleep mode and very stable system so that I never turn my computer off anymore. That plus the dock which unhelpfully (again in my personal opinion) shows an icon for every open program. While use of computer resources may not be an issue, the use of my wetware resources having my eye caught by strings of unfamiliar program icons in dock, which niggles at me until I perform housekeeping and close all the programs that shouldn't be open, is an issue (for me).
Enough, already. I only raised the point to say that it is not only ex-windows users who don't agree with this behaviour.

Why does the "sharpen" not save with the photos I apply it to?

When I edit my photos, all of the edits stay but the sharpen. As soon as I switch over to library and/or export the photos, the shapen I did dissapears and only the other edits I did saved. Why does this happen? Am I doing something wrong? The sharpen stayed when i first got light room but now it doesnt.

What version of LR are you using? LR 5.0 has a bug because of which exported images which are downsized to less than 1/3 the original dimensions do not receive sharpening. It has been fixed in 5.2.
