Why don't Outlook calendar events show up in Notification Center?

I have my iPhone (6) with iOS 8.1.2 set up to work with my corporate Outlook, and everything has typically worked fine.  At some point in the last few weeks, I've noticed that Outlook calendar events don't appear in the Notification Center - and I'm confident that they used to.  They show up in the Calendar app, reminders pop up for the events...but suddenly they don't appear when I pull down the Notification Center on my phone.  Only iCal and events that I created on my phone show up.  Any thoughts?
Thanks.

ManSinha - thanks for your response - and yes, that's the first place I looked.  The Outlook events still don't show up in the iOS notification center.  They do show up in the upper "summary" section though - the where it has the date, weather, then "The first thing on your calendar today is (Outlook Event) at 12:15 PM."  But in the Calendar widget right below, it doesn't show up.
Again, it shows up in the Calendar app - so I'm not sure where the disconnect is.

  • No calendar alerts showing in ios7 notification center

First, want to say this is different than the several threads stating that all day events are not showing. I have no calendar alerts at all in the all or missed tabs. I do see events for today in the today tab , but that's it. I have it set to show the alerts in both notification and lock screen, but it doesn't work. This is true on a 5s, a 4s and my ipad 4. I do run fantastical (also set to show up in the notification center) on the 5s and 4s, but obviously not on the ipad.  Based on what others have said, this seems to be somewhat unique to me. Any ideas?  I've already tried toggling on and off and restarting the phone.

Try going to settings - notification center - and turn on Daily calendar view

  • No longer able to drag Outlook emails to Outlook calendar events

I use Outlook 2007 on my PC, and sync it to my iPhone and iPad using iCloud.  I used to be able to drag an email to the notes section of an Outlook calendar event, but it looks like this ability/feature is now gone.  Can I get this feature back? I even tried opening an old Outlook calendar event to which I knew I had dragged-and-dropped an email.  when I opened the event, it momentarily flashed up with the attached email in the event notes section, but then the email disappeared.  Frustrating!  I drag emails to this section so that I have the details of my event linked to the event, and not cluttering up my inbox.

Have you tried clicking "Reset Sync History..." in iSync preferences?
Also, make sure you have at least one 'local' calendar set up in iCal - rather than just 'subscribed' ones.

  • HT203216 iPhone will not update with new outlook calendar events after sync

iPhone 4S will no longer update with new outlook calendar events after sync

    another user had the fix:
FIXED IT! After a painful and time-consuming couple of months.
I found the solution on another help forum, and in a nutshell it is this:
I had set up some Outlook appointments with a reminder set at "0" minutes i.e. to remind me at the time of the event.
On the iPhone there isn't an option for "0" minutes - instead it says 'at the time of the event' (or something similar)
When the iphone tried to sync the Outlook items it didn't know what to do, and after several minutes of 'deliberating' (which looked like a very long calendar sync in iTunes) it then just aborted the process without syncing anything on Calendar.
So I went into calendar list view, and changed any appointment with a reminder set to "0" minutes, and bingo, it all started working again.
Try it! I hope it works for others too.. (repost of solution provided by Silvermum)

  • Shared Outlook Calendars not showing up on my phone

I have an Outlook Calendar that works on my Samsung Galaxy S4, but I have 2 other outlook calendars that are shared with me on the same account that I can not seem to get to show up on my phone.   How do I get the shared outlook calendars to show up with my own calendar?

Actually, the accounts can not be added as they are not my accounts.   These are two members of my family who have their own outlook accounts.   They “shared” their calendars with me so that I can see them.   I want to see them on my Samsung Galaxy S4 but I can’t.   I can see them on my laptop and I could see them on my iPhone but when I changed to the Samsung, I can’t see them.   There has got to be a way to see them.

  • Since switching to iCloud all of my calendar events show up double.

Since switching to iCloud all of my calendar events show up double. How can I fix this?

In the calendar settings on your mobile, uncheck anything "from my mac" that is already syncing to iCloud.  By syncing directly b/w your iCal and mobile and then also displaying the iCloud calendars, you get doubles.  Also, in iTunes disable syncing of your calendars.  iCloud will take care of it.

  • Why am I getting calendar events twice?

Why am I getting calendar events twice on my iPhone? I am sharing calendar with my wifes iPhone. My duplicates code in the same color, my wife gets duplicates in different colors.  I suspect this is a set up problem but help here would be appreciated.

I figured it out.  It has to do with which calendars you want displayed.  Duplications come from multiple calender selections.

  • Why are Facebook notifications not showing up in Notification Center?

On OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Facebook account is setup in Internet Accounts preference pane in System Preferences.
Facebook is configured in Notifications preference pane in System Preferences.
The Share Buttons widget is configured in Notifications preference pane in System Preferences.
When I view my Facebook account via my web browser I usually have notifications available, but these notifications are not showing up in Notification Center.
I do receive Calendar, Mail, etc. notifications in Notification Center so I know it works.
I can send posts to Facebook via the Share Buttons widget in Notification Center, but presently I can receive nothing from Facebook..
Anyone know of a solution to this problem?
    Thanks!
P.S. I read in another thread how Facebook can be setup in iMessage, but I don't want to use iMessage if I can get Notification Center to function properly.

I got it to work yesterday. I tried none of the advice from discussions dealing with changing settings, enabling/disabling accounts, terminal commands, etc. All I did was ask a Facebook friend to respond to a post, and I was able to see the notifications in Notification Center.
I know most have their settings configured correctly in System Preferences, but this is how my preferences are configured on OS X Mavericks 10.9.3:
    (1) Internet Accounts preference pane:
There isn't much to configure here. I signed into my Facebook account. I checked or unchecked the Calendar and Contacts selections. It doesn't matter. I left the Description, found in the Details button window, as Facebook, but it doesn't matter, either.
    (2) Notifications preference pane:
Facebook alert style is set to Banners, but Alerts will also work just fine. This setting is crucial because if it's set to None, no alerts will be received. I left Show notifications on lock screen unchecked, but it doesn't matter if I check it or not. And I put a check mark in Show in Notification Center, and the number of Recent Items can be set to whatever available setting desired, mine is set to 20 Recent Items.
    (3) Notifications preference pane:
I placed a check mark on Show share button notifications in Notification Center, which is found when Share Button is selected in the list of notifications like Facebook, Calendar, Mail etc.
Again, I did nothing else, and it just works. As a side note: before I got it to work I called AppleCare and a senior advisor spent considerable time with me trying to find out why it wasn't working. And his last bit of advice was that I should reinstall the OS. He needs retraining because that bit of advice was ill-advised, to say the least.
I simply had no experience with receiving Facebook notifications in Notification Center 'on OS X', and the AppleCare employees had no training in this area, but if Notification Center is part of OS X, and Facebook notifications are part of Notification Center training in this area should be standard, but the AppleCare employees were guessing, not advising, which certainly is not technical support. Hence, my AppleCare dollars were not at work as expected.
So without prior knowledge as to how the specifics of 'Facebook' notifications worked in Notification Center on OS X, my assumption was I would be notified each time someone tagged me, someone liked a comment, post or photo of mine, someone commented on one of my posts, or someone sent me a direct message.
When I asked one of my Facebook friends to help me test it out, the following occurred (I don't remember if I had Safari up and running at this time - Note: I was signed into Facebook via Safari. I say this because AppleCare employees did explain on OS X some applications must be launched in order to received notifications, which in my mind is wasted time and code for Apple developers. Why offer notifications if the application is already launched? Ridiculous, if you ask me. That's what configuring each applications preference to set badge app icons, if it's not already coded by default.):
    (1) I sent a Facebook post via Notification Center using the Facebook Share Button.
    (2) I communicated with one of my Facebook friends by private message via iOS device and asked for a response to the post I sent.
    (3) My Facebook friend responded to my private message, but I don't remember if I received a notification in Notification Center.
    (4) My Facebook friend liked my post, shared my post, and commented on my post. I received two separate notifications in Notification Center on OS X, yet I received notifications on Facebook for all three actions, seen via iOS device. By the way, I wish Notification Center notifications would stay in Notification Center until we manually remove them. If they did stay until we manually remove them I would have time to find out which action of my friend I was received the notification for in Notification Center.
    That's it!

I think that in general, the Alerts do not show if the program is in the foreground and is active.  Try putting Twitter behind another program and see what happens.

  • Calendar event showing on iPhone & in Outlook but not on iPad

I have a calendar event that is showing up on the iPhone and in Outlook, but not on the iPad (using Exchange). All other events are displaying on the iPad but this one event. The event is no different from any others, except it had a .pdf attached (it is not recurring). Any idea what could cause this and how to fix it? Thanks.

Created a new Exchange event with a pdf on my work computer, and it immediately showed up on my iPad. I just now noticed that on all of my events, I am unable to look at any attachments, interesting.
But anyway, it worked for me. Other Exchange events are currently showing up in your calendar? If yes, then I don't know.
If no, then in your Exchange account settings make sure you have Calendars set to ON. Also, in Calendar on tyour iPad, click the Calendars button on the top left corner. Little Show Calendars thing should pop up. Make sure they are all checked, or at least your Exchange account is checked.
All the ideas I have for now.
