Why dont we improve the ease of managing the Bookmarks & the bookmark manager itself in firefox?

The bookmark manager is good but not as good as the other browsers. To create a Folder one has to open the bookmark manager then create a new folder and then bookmarks them. apart from that just clicking on the bookmark star next to the address bar put the bookmark into default place. There should be a popup that should confirm the location of the bookmark and give an option to create a new folder where a user can put his bookmark. This makes it easier for a user to manage his bookmarks rather than scrolling through a long list.

* Clicking the star in the location bar will bookmark the page in the "Unsorted Bookmarks" folder and the star turns yellow (blue on Mac) to show that.
* Bookmarks > "Bookmark This Page" (Ctrl+D) will bookmark the page in the Bookmarks Menu folder (you need to confirm that).
* In Firefox 4 "Bookmark This Page" can be accessed via the right-click context menu of that browser page or by using the keyboard (Alt+B) to open the bookmarks menu.
* If the URL in the location bar is bookmarked (star at the right end side is yellow/blue) then click the highlighted star or use "Bookmark This Page" (Ctrl+D) to edit the properties of the bookmark (name, location) and move it to another folder or remove the bookmark.
* Click the star at the right end side of the location bar once to bookmark the current site and click the highlighted star a second time to open the "Edit This Bookmark" window and move the bookmark to another folder or edit the name.
* Click the Remove button in the "Edit This Bookmark" window to remove a bookmark.
* Click the arrow at the far right of the Folder field in the "Edit This Bookmark" window to access the complete folder list. That full folder list also opens if you click the drop marker in the Folder field and select the "Choose" item. That window also has a button to create a "New Folder" (look for a button with "New Folder" or a "+" under the folder list).
* Use the "Edit This Bookmark" window to locate a bookmarked link (bookmarks have a yellow/blue star) from the location bar drop down list. Do that in Offline mode ("File > Work Offline") to avoid the link from opening.

Why do i have to use task manager to end firefox even after i close the website

every time i go to close firefox, i use either the X or file exit.
then i go to the icon to launch the program (firefox) i get a pop up that tells me firefox is still running to maybe restart my computer.
the only way i can override this is by using "task manager" look for the icon and end the process.
then i can reopen the browser

Use "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: Firefox > Quit Firefox; Linux: Firefox/File > Quit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox title bar.

I have a 3rd gen ipod touch and don't have the money to get a newer ipod so why cant you make iOS 6 available for 3rd gen ipod touches?

2) The 3rd gen iPod does not have the hardware to be able to use iOS 6

well, you know how it is - glitches that usually resolve with a hard reset etc
then a restore. then a factory restore....then ..... nothing fixes so I try the next step with apple online - fill out my serial number and find it is a couple of weeks out of date - and then with the holidays who has time to get to the apple store? this is my second 4s handset as it is - first one the glass cracked from L to R without any impact/damage etc - they changed it out automatically because it's a 'known fault' apparently - so technically, this handset is only 6 months old - but warranty is from original purchase date -
never imagined it would turn out to be a warranty issue with the phone - and hey maybe when I get a chance to go to the apple store they'll be sympathetic, but I won't be able to get there till at least Jan 4th as it is. On the other hand, another iOS update might resolve the issue - but how long till that release? at the moment I'm having to use my old 3gs for wifi and 4s for phone!!!

Updating IOS5 - Why dont i have the option in my settings?????

I am trying to update my iphone 4 with the IOS5 update and its just not happening grrr. After finally finding a program to transfer my music, etc off my phone to my pc i tried to do it through itunes but it keeps timing out, over and over again. So I have now gone to the apple site to find a way - it says you can do it through your phone using the 'Software Update' option in your Settings on your phone. However, I DON'T HAVE THE 'SOFTWARE UPDATE ' option in my settings - its just not there!!!! This is so incredibly frustrating. Why is it not there?????
Someone please help . . . . this is so frustrating!

Disable your antivirus and firewall software. If you are running Kaspersky, you may need to remove it entirely. It can interfere with the update process.

No. There is no Apple software that will do this. Music purchased from iTunes can be transferred using File>Transfer Purchases in iTunes on the PC. Anything else had to be synced from a PC to the phone to begin with. You should have those files already. If the computer they were on crashed, was destroyed, etc. then you shoud have a backup of that computer. Backups are the responsibility of the user. The iPhone is not a backup device.
If the music in question came from a comptuter that you do not own, and you do not have the originals of the music (audio CDs, etc), then you have no legal right to have the music in the first place. Copying someone else's music is theft.
The music is not copied from someone elses computer. It's mine I purchased from itunes directly to my phone. (off topic).
Im running Avira antivirus and im extremely hesitant to disable this and use the internet - in the past I have had computers crash from Trojans trying this technique.

Why dont NSU store the partial/previous downloads ...

i just updated my N70, a process which didn't go smoothly the first time, as my connection was interrupted, so when i went back to the NSU it started over downloading the firmware from the beginning, althought it was almost 85% complete before the interruption. I think this is a huge limitation that Nokia NSU team should ready remove.

You can't view photo stream photos on iCloud.com, you can only view photos added to iCloud Photo Library. iCloud Photo Library is a beta service (still in test), and is only available if your are running iOS 8.

If there are problems with importing the IE Favorites in Firefox then export the favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.
If you do not have the menu bar in IE then right-click the toolbar at the top to enable the Menu Bar.
