Why downloads damaged?

I have adobe reader version 11.0.03, my laptop runs Mac OSX 10.8.
adobe reader files I downloaded and successfully opened now respond " There was an error
opening thiss document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."
Can anyone help me fix this problem?

Is the second time this happens to me with the ipod nano 6th generation, can someone tell me, why is damaged the power button?

You may not intentionally be doing anything. The device is small enough to fit in your pocket and perhaps something in your pocket is causing the damage. Maybe even the pocket itself when inserting or removing the device as the power button may snag on the pocket opening.

Why download Apps to iMac?

Just spent ages downloading iPad apps onto my iMac in iTunes, but I cant open any of them on the iMac? What is the point of having apps in iTunes on the iMac if you can't use them?

You store them on the iMac in case you have to erase your iPad and you have to reinstall all the apps again. If you don't have them on the iMac, you will have to download them again, and it will take a lot. That's why the apps are stored on the iMac, not to run them on a computer

Pdf download damaged

the document A96670-01 PDF HTML Oracle Enterprise Manager Administrator's Guide in pdf format errors after downloading with file damaged cannot repair. It also will not open online even after waiting for several minutes. The html version appears to be fine.

I tried this - http://download.oracle.com/docs/pdf/A96670_01.pdf - and it worked fine.
It took a few moments to load, but then saved successfull, and without issue to my PC.
Please confirm if you are still encountering this issue.

Why download manager?

Hi why do I have to get download manager?
I do not want it!
I do not want any installs other than the ones I need on my pc!
And I'm tired of all companies trying to get me to install all
kinds of crap to get something.

   I already have a anti virus.
   Set it to tick if you want it!
   The same goes for all news letters, my mail boxes are already filled
   with various kinds of spam. If you have anything useful to mail to your
   customers, inform them of so and let them deceide themselves if they
   want it or not. By doing so rather than to "hope" that they forget to untick
   The boxes people might read the info Adobe want to share.
2 Download manager is rubbish, I do not need a download manager
   for every single companys software I need to use.
   Neither does it work properly.
Adobe should be a large and serious enough company to let their customers
deceide for themselves what they want of installson their pc's.

Cheers, a little more reasearch and I found a direct donwload, got that sorted, but I still find
it disapointing that a company like Adobe uses above mentioned techniques on their main
download links?
Maybe there should be direct linking to the direct download wit an option of using the other
alternatives with all news letters unticket, and a visual focus on the fact that one can have
the news letters of choice if one needs/ wants so?
Cant answer for all other, but I would for sure give me the impression of Adobe being a
serious company Of course I know that Adobe is a serious company I the software they
make, so that is why such disapoints me to see. I find it to be a bit cheeky and Adobe
should not need to be cheeky, It to me it de-values the qualities of the brand.
I would think this would be a factor in establishing a solid first impression with new
customers to, helping the company in verifying their qualities amongst existing and
new customers.
Sorry for being abit upset yesterday, but sometimes one is in a hurry and then it is a
bit annoying when something that should be 2 sec. job turns out to be a "mission"

Stupid, why download itunes and get a prompt to install a new version once running?

Why not put the new version to download on the site?
Why does it not install quicktime anymore? so stupid to have to do stuff over and over again and get all this stuff to work.

Plenty of non-IT guys and girls have no problem selecting Help/Check for Updates in iTunes and following any prompts they see. Whenever I've done this, or when iTunes has informed me that there is an update, I am given a choice to download, or not, everything I need, including Quicktime. I simply don't un-check the Quicktime download.
Since this is done in iTunes, there is no need to "download from the site".
Personally, I think it is simple. Mind you, I am an ex-IT guy.

Why downloaded ringtone won't work with a contact on iphone5

I downloaded a ringtone and associated it with my sons number-he changed services to AT&T and has a new number. I can not get that ringtone to work with his new number, Why? It shows up and works in tones...is checked off for his ringtone, but will not work.
Actually, just tested....can not get ANY ringtones to work for his number!!

When he calls, does his name show up on the screen for the Caller ID? Have you tried completely deleting his contact and then adding it back as new? If you want before doing that, after you have changed his ringtone, do a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see if the ringtone works for his calls.

Why downloaded alert tone appear in ringtones list?

I've downloaded a few new alert tones, but for some reason they all appear as ringtones. Once they are not in the Alert tones list I am not able to select them. I've noticed other users are having the same issue. Why is this happening? Any way to fix it?

Why download does not start?

I have 87 apps waiting in the "Updates" tab in "App Store". None of them starts downloading. I also cannot download a new app.
Using iPhone 5 with iOS 8.0.2.
I also realized that I cannot upgrade to iOS 8.1 and the "software update" menu is stucked in "Update Requested..."

Some updates if large may require WiFi connection in order to download, you could also connect the device to iTunes & update them that way: you can also update the device via iTunes.

I finally found another bit of the site that allowed one download option, the windows 32-option. Of course I need the 64. I just had to reformat my PC, and I want to get going on this. The site has been down long enough that I've reloaded everything else, including my music. The whole problem was that my USBs weren't recognized for, oh about 4 months, so I have tons of stuff to add to the pod.

Why "Download Error. Tap to Retry." only Occurs in iOS Podcast app?

Hi,
I've recently discovered problems downloading my podcast using the 'Podcasts' app in iOS. I consistently get the same error. That is, "Download error. Tap to Retry". The podcast feed I give to iTunes is generated by a WordPress plugged-in named 'podPress'. The feed is good from iTunes software on PCs running Windows, or OSX, across various versions. Instant play works, and subscription downloads work, but it doesn't work in the Podcast app in iOS devices (at least versions 7 and 8.)
The only thing I can imagine is an XML formatting issue, but I don't know where to looks.

I am not sure if this is related, but when I use the 'Feed Validator' linked to from the WordPress plug-in 'podPress', then I get one warning about a self reference. I cannot verify whether this is related to my problem, nor can I figure out how to resolve the warning.
I noticed that two other people have 'ticked' the option "I have this question too." Maybe one of you has tried this, with the same or different results?
