Why fevicon not displayed in iphone

Hello Everyone,
I am stucked at a question that, why iphones are showing fevicon in its browser(safari).
I tried it by many ways like -
1. changed .ico file to .png, .jpg
2. put image file in root path
but still it isn't working
Is there any technical issue or anythng else or can sumbody suggest me to sort out this???
Any kind of suggestion is appreciated...

This is a problem for me as well. My grandmother's birthday (year 1921) and my mother's (1951) are no longer in my iPhone's calendar. I turned off the Birthdays feature in iCal, and what birthdays did exist on my iPhone were removed. I then reactivated, and still my grandmother's and mother's entries are not present, though other younger entries are back.

Why does not Apple allows iPhone to be sync by two different computers ?

I have a pc at home and one in office. But I can only sync it with my home pc. Why does not apple allow iPhones to be sync by atleats two pcs as having different pc for work and home is very general.

It is possible to sync from multiple libraries manually on other devices (iPads & iPods) so blanket statements that 'it's DRM' don't really make sense to me.
If it is the only reason why can't non DRM'd content be copied?

Perhaps we would have a better idea if it wasn't all wrapped up in thousands of words spread between the multiple terms & conditions agreements.

I have an issue with some PDF documents & some MS Office documents, notably MS Word when received in eMail as attachments not displaying properly on iPhones, iPad 2s & new iPads?
PDF docs - areas of the doc only show as grey splotches regardles of viewer
MS Word Docs -
inserted graphics don't display at all,
tables & lists especially with borders are broken &
tables & lists missing the borders &
tables & lists missing the 1st 1-2 lines of the lists/tables.
This is replicated on iPhone 4s, iPhone 4Ss, iPad 2s, iPad new (x2)
It certainly happens in iOS 5.1.1 & iOS 5.1
We believe it all worked aok in iOS 5.0.1(?) & prior
There is no problems reading/seeing these PDF & Word docs on anything other than iDevices.
This is rather critical for us & if not quickly fixed/rectified will prevent us from further purchases of these devices
Rolling back to iOS 5.0.1 or prior I believe isn't possible because of the BaseBand update(?) & isn't much of an option because of the quite noticeable Battery/Charging/WiFi improvements in 5.1 & 5.1.1

I logged a call with AppleCare & have since had explained why this occurs (some time ago)
I'll try to explain what was indicated to me.
iOS has a limited Font Set & this affects what PDFs can display. You need to use iOS supported fonts in your PDFs to see/read them properly

Regards MS office docs, iOS doesn't have much of an API to work with MS Office documents at all so is stuck with 3rd Party Apps to try to do it.
Unfortunately Mail in/on iOS uses the API to attempt to open/use MS Office attachments unless you tell it to use an App to open the attachment.
I have had success opening & reading MS office docs now with CloudOn, but find it slow & very awkward to use.
Not too sure if this helps others, but at least it explains why this is occurring

Problem why images not displaying

I am facing one problem that is images are not displaying why???.I am using apache-jakarta-tomcat-4.1.18 server First I kept images in the intrapp folder images are displying well ,but due to security resasons I moved the images folder in the WEB-INF directory after that images are not displying

You should place your images with your jsp pages in a folder "images" then give it path "images/img1.gif"

Why my notes from my iPhone 5 don't synchronize w/ iCloud?

I just tried to tranfer my notes from my iphone 5 to my MacBook Pro, I did my homework by uploading and sinchronizing my phone with Itunes and then with iCloud. And the notes taken today didn't tranfer to icloud??? all my points are checked/on. any one knows how? ty

Do you have Notes turned on in Settings>iCloud on your phone, and is your Mac signed into the same iCloud account as your phone in System Preferences>iCloud with Notes checked?
If so, open Notes on your phone and tap Accounts on the top left. Then check to see which account the notes are in. They will only transfer with iCloud if they were created in the iCloud account.

Birthday entries not displaying in iPhone Calendar

I am using iPhone 3GS and having iOS 6.1.2. I am unable to see my birthdays in iPhone Calendar after updating iOS to 6.1 though all Calendar entries are checked in Calendar settings. I can see birthdays in iCloud service but not on my iPhone. Please tell me how do i see birthday entries in iPhone Calendar.

Why Photoshop Not Displaying Proper Black

Hello there... I am using Ps CS6 Extended and having this problem. I dont know if it is Windows problem or Ps itself.. The color of the wallpaper is pure black but the Ps is not displaying it as black. You can see below. I used Windows Photo Viewer for first image, Paint for second, and Ps Cs6 for the last one.

you might be wise to avoid View> Proof Setup> Profile/ColorSpace (Photoshop soft proofing) until you read up a bit on it because it confuses a lot of people
but if you are ignoring profiles in Photoshop (broken workflow) you have another issue to figure out
2x but, if Paint is not color managed, i would expect Photoshop View> Proof Setup: Monitor RGB to "match" Paint's preview (they both ignore the Source profile and ASSIGN the monitor profile (for all practical purposes)

Why is some artwork not displaying in iPhone 4 cover flow?

All of my album artwork displays in iTunes, but certain songs in my iPhone 4 are showing the gray background and music notes. It is often a song on an album where the other album songs display artwork, but that one in particular doesn't (again, it shows in iTunes).
Any suggestions as to what's up? I'm on the latest version of iTunes 10.5.2.11 and iOS 5.0.1.

Don't upgrade to 10. 5.3 then as back cover artwork becomes invisible when upgrading to 10.5.3
I can't find any way to see the secondary artwork (back cover or photo sleeve).
The only way to see other than the cover, is to get info on the tune?
No way to see my liner notes, etc large - only a thumbnail shows in get info.
this is otherwise a DOWNGRADE from 10.5.0

Album artwork not displaying on iPhone 5 iOS 6.0.2

I recently took the plunge from Android and got myself an iPhone 5. One thing that's driving me nuts is album artwork in my music library. I have two problems
not all albums will display artwork on the phone despite being present in iTunes and WMP/Media Monkey.
when artwork is displayed on phone, when music is playing the wrong artwork is then displayed.
I've tried different ways of synching, auto and manual. I have also tried replacing the artwork in 'Get Info' (time-consuming and tedious when artwork is already there). Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Frustratingly, if I am successful one day, the next time I synch I am back to square one with no artwork.
I wouldn't use iTunes if I didn't have to...I had none of these issues with Android/Creative.
I am using a Windows 7 laptop, iPhone 5, IOS 6.0.2, iTunes for Windows 11.0.1.12. The issue has been present since day one getting this phone.
Does anyone have any tips, ideas or similar experience of this issue?

You could try activating it while connected to a different wifi network. You could also see if your router has a firmware update available and changing your router's settings to use Google's public DNS to see if that helps (see https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using).

Foxnews.com, facebook.com, and yahoo.com all recognize my iphone and display accordingly. Baylorbears.com does not.
-My first iphone baylorbears.com would display the same as the others, in an iphone friendly format.
-My friends phones display it in an iphone friendly format.
Any ideas on settings on my phone that I could toggle? Or does this sound like a website error?

Airplay not displaying on iphone since getting new Netgear router

Hello, I had no problems running airplay through my phone through my apple tv onto my TV when I used AT&T internet and router. Since I changed to Charter internet and their Netgear WNDR3800 router I can't get the airplay to display on any of our phones. I have gone to www.routerlogin.net and confirmed the right boxes were unchecked for Enable Wireless Isolation and still the Airplay button will not show up. Not sure what I'm missing??
