Why Firefox 25.0 does not show Google ads and Facebook comments and likes. All other browsers do.

I've just upgraded to FireFox 25.0 and I have issues viewing Google ads and Facebook comments and likes on my website (wellfitstyle.com). All other browsers show Google adds in the right sidebar and Facebook comments and likes under each post. Great number of people in Eastern Europe (where I am) use FireFox and I would like to know how this issue can be fixed.

Starting in Firefox 23, if a secure page includes certain types of insecure content, Firefox blocks the insecure content and a shield icon will appear in the address bar. To temporarily allow the mixed content to be displayed:

You can also use this add-on instead, to toggle the preference:

You may want to do this only for the current session, then reset the preference back to "true" and check back with the site to see whether it's been fixed, since this is a global setting that exposes you on all sites, not just the one you care about.

Give this a whirl and see if this helps.
Forget the network on the device and turn wifi off.
Turn bluetooth off. (Not sure why, but seemed to help with others)
Turn on airplane mode and then off again.

This has just started today; yesterday, I downloaded a Zone Alarm update which was genuine and I have done a full scan for virus and malware – nothing!
I have tried the FN+NumLock idea which I saw on the internet but that doesn’t seem to work.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. 
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

My Macbook Air with Lion does not show up on my network to any of my other computers (PC's) , even though it is connected to my wifi and does access the Internet. In addition, my other computers sometimes show up in Finder and sometimes they're not there. Sometimes they do show in Finder and when I click on them, I get "Connection Failed", other times, they connect. Also some shared folders on those other computers, which are PC's are not accessible, even though fully shared. My network is Apple Airport Extreme and works perfectly otherwise, including all PC's being able to see each other. Help would be much appreciated

I got the same problem. I want to access my shared folder on my home windows7 from my MBA. Tried many suggestions on the web but all to no avail. I thought that should be very trivial. Maybe a Lion bug?

Before you connect any device to a new library go to the Devices tab of the the preferences panel via Edit > Preferences (Windows) or iTunes > Preferences (Mac) and ensure the box next to Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically is ticked. You can now safely connect the device to your computer without the danger of media being automatically deleted or overwritten.
To get all your content off your connect your iPad to your new computer.
Then use a 3rd party piece of software to transfer your content

Also try this...go to the project properties for the View project. Look at the JSF Libraries and remove the two JSF libraries and then re-add them....this sometimes helps.

Have you found a solution yet? I don’t know if I will be of any help but I was curious and no one else has chimed in yet.
I don’t quite understand all of your statement.
To clarify, you were making SimpleSave backups from Win95 and cannot see them all on the Win7 laptop?
Or
You were copying files over (SimpleSave utility not used) and you cannot see those files on Win7 but you can on the Win95 machine?
Do you have another Win7 machine you could connect the external to, to see if the files are still not showing (one that is not locked for work)?
On the drive that shows full, can you see it in Disk Management showing the correct size of the drive and also another CD drive? Not your real CD/DVD drive, it’s actually a CD emulator that is attached to the HDD for encrypting the backups and all SimpleSave’s have them.
Lastly, did you reformat the SimpleSave drive to Fat32 first?
My understanding is that USB support was quite limited on Win95 machines. Since Win95 is Fat32 and the SimpleSave drive is by default NTFS, I would think it would not work.

Firefox 19 preferences does not show cookies

In the privacy settings I have checked the box to accept cookies, but box to accept cookies from 3rd party sites is unchecked. Further setting are "use custom setting for history" and "tell websites not to track. Up until a few days ago, if I clicked show cookies it listed all the cookies of sites I had visited and I could remove them individually. All of a sudden Firefox (19) does not show any cookies in the box anymore. I have not changed any of the settings. How can I ensure to the see the cookies listed again?

I have used Firefox for many years, and I've always been grateful for the superb work on a wonderful browser that is done in a great spirit of generosity by what must be a huge number of very good, very smart people. And in all those years, there has been one -- and only one -- persistent problem, cookies. The most recent change, which took away the list from "Show cookies" is an annoyance (and I see that there are at least 54 others who feel the same way) that only highlights the basic defect of cookie-handling: For those of us who prefer to allow cookies only when they are required by a site we want to visit (and again, I see from the questions and comments in "Help" that I'm not the only one who does this and yes, I know I can allow them selectively for sites I visit regularly, but often one arrives at a new site or wants to complete a transaction and gets stymied by the cookie requirement), the process of opening and closing the door has always been a multi-step pain in the neck. May I suggest that you put a button (that looks like a chocolate-chip cookie, my favorite) somewhere on the menu or navigation toolbar that would allow cookies when clicked the first time and cut them off while removing all cookies when clicked the second time?

My iphone 4S shows up on my computer but does not show up in itunes devices. I have all security

I just got an iPhone 4S and am unable to get it to show up as a device in iTunes.
I previously backed up my old iPhone on my Windows 7 PC. When I connect my 4S to the PC it is recognized by the PC but does not show up as a device in iTunes.
I have turned off all virus protection software & have tried uninstalling iTunes and all associated Apple software. I reinstalled all Apple software with no results in my 4S showing up as a device in iTunes.

Why can't I attach files using Yahoo email? I've clicked on 'Attach files more easily' and nothing happens. With all other browsers, I have no issues attaching files.

I want to attach Word files to some of my yahoo emails. Instead of the word 'attach' like on all other browsers, Fierfox wants me to click on 'Attach files more easily' and download this. Nothing happens leaving me unable to use Firefox if I wish to use my yahoo email and send attachments, files or pics.

The only way I can open a PDF is to launch the Reader X software and click "open files" from there. Obviously, this doesn't help me since I need to email PDFs to clients, and printing 'n faxing isn't an option.
You don't need Adobe Reader to email PDFs to clients.
