Why firefox wont ask me to enter my mail "Account details (UserName and Password)" for 2nd time, if i open same "mail account" using another session (1st session still "login")

I opened "yahoomail" in one new tab,mail page asks me to enter "UserName and Password" once typed my details, it allows me to see my mails.Again I opened "yahoomail" in new tab (Still my 1st yahoo mail account in "login" state) to check my other account,this time it automatically allows me to see the previously opened account without asking me to enetr "Account Details"

All Firefox windows and tabs run in the same "session". You can't open a 2nd account on the same server as the first account without being able to handle "session cookies" for each account.
Take a look at these three extensions which can handle multiple "cookie sessions", and pick one.

We have a web service running on a single domain on a weblogic 7.0 SP1 cluster.
We load balance via a F5 in front of the cluster. Our F5 accepts SSL requests
on port XXX3, terminates SSL and forwards the non-SSL request to a managed server
in the cluster for processing. Likewise, the F5 receives HTTP requests on port
XXX0 and forwards the non-SSL request to a managed server in the cluster.
We have no Weblogic security features configured for the web service. Only the
standard "myrealm" is configured with the defaults values.
Whenever we call this web service, via the F5, on the XXXX ports, we are prompted
to authenticate. The message "Enter username and password for "weblogic" at <domain-name>"
appears. We don't even have a "weblogic" realm configured. (1) We are not sure
why we need to authenticate when no security has been configured for this application
(2) We've tried every username password combination we can think of and none work.
One clue is.... if we use the standard HTTP ports 80 and 443 for traffic coming
into the firewall, we are not prompted to authenticate. The web service works
just fine. The problem seems to rise when we use the non-standard ports on the
F5 of XXX0 and XXX3 and forward traffic from these ports to the managed servers.
Has anyone seen this behavior?

1. Make sure software is up to date
2. Make sure FaceTime is enabled; Settings>FaceTime
3. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
4. Make sure Push Notification is enabled
5. Make sure phone number or email address is correct
6. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) until you see the Apple Logo

Proxy Server asking for username and password almost 6 times for every page I load, but the same doesn't happen with other browsers like chrome

The same question keeps popping up again and again "The proxy moz-proxy://proxy.iitm.ac.in:3128 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://proxy.iitm.ac.in:3128""
Even after i give the right details, it asks me like 5 more times before it completely loads the page. Some times it happens only 2 times.
With other browsers like chrome, it asks only in the beginning. it doesn't occur after that.
This started occurring only recently. i upgraded to firefox 9.0 and it functioned properly for more than 12 hours before it started occuring. i tried downgrading back to 8.0.1 but the problem still continued.

i'm afraid i need to use proxy settings to connect to internet. Wifi asks for username AND password for iPhone

Hi!
So I have moved into a new apartment, and when my iPhone finds the router and tries to log on, it asks for a username AND a password. When I use my Macbook, it just asks for a password, which I enter and get no further problems with.
I have tried entering the router's details manually using the 'Other' feature in the Wifi settings, and still cannot log on (either with WPA or WPA2).
Any idea what's going on here? No one else I know of has this problem!

Unable to print to Win Server2008 R2 queue from Lion10.7.2, printer status gets paused or asks username and password for printer

Hi Everyone,
I have set up a print queue for HP CP5225dn on Win Server2008 R2 on a shared domain . When I install a print driver on Mac 10.7.2 Lion it sometimes ask for a 'user name & password' for the printer which has not been set by us on the printer.
Second issue I don't know how it reached to the point that I was able to send the job through but as soon as it starts to connect to the printer 'it turns the status to printer paused' or can't connect to the printer.
Printer works well on 'Bonjour' printing so I don't have any doubts on the printer driver. But HP doesn't have the drivers for CP5225dn for Lion 10.7.2.
I have to configure the printer via the queue. Please advise any workarounds.

This easy to follow procedure (5 web pages with screen shots) worked for MacBook Pro 10.6.8 via Wireless-N to Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 x64 using USB Cable to HP Officejet 7210 All-in-One. This configuration had worked with Windows XP.

Can somebody tell me why firefox wont play a video (Mp4) but if I download it and play it on my computer and go back to firefox it will then play the video?

ever since we have Bt broadband there have ben problems with the email account and this d****d pop-up! No matter what I do to the box , it keeps coming back. Then the account works fine for a while until it decides to appear again. I can have a whole week without it then a whole week with it appearing every few seconds. It has got worse today. Then Bt broadband help will pop up and say there are issues with the email account. I ask it to fix it and it goes through its procedure and comes back with no issues found! Finally this morning I had had enough and contacted the live chat. The man at the end of the line took over the computer, did not know what he was talking about and took me an hour to undo the damage he had done! He did say though that there were issues with Outlook 2010 and bt mail. I wonder if anyone else has suffered the same issues and solved them or if anyone knows of any conflicts between Outlook 2010 and bt mail? I'm at my wits end and bt is no help with its overseas, script driven help line! All my settings are fine as it happened with a second account that the 'chat' man set up and nothing happens with another account that I have with Virgin.

Hi Louise, welcome to the forums.
There is no issue with Outlook 2010 - in fact there are no issues with pratically any mail client. The issue is down to the yahoo mail servers solely, particularly the backend mail server farm mail.btinternet.com.
Over the past couple of months they seemed to time out, reject access and all sorts of things for different users and different user accounts at different times.
You may like to try altering the Outlook account settings yourself to enter the details I've written via my shortcuts option 0d/h. See how you get on with that.
Also you may like to stop Outlook checking every few minutes, assuming you've got that option set. Hence do a manual send/receive at your own leisure.

Issue:
Cisco firewalls require only one level of password i.e. the domain username and password are used for both logging in as well as reaching global configuration mode.
Background:
We have multiple Cisco network devices set up which authenticate to our Windows domain controller using NPS (Windows 2008 R2). The switches we have set up all function exactly as we would hope as they require your domain username and password to login to the device. They then require a separate password when you use the enable command, this is stored in Active Directory:
Switches:
Username:domain-username
Password:domain-password
SWITCH>enable
Password:enable-password-in-Active-Directory
SWITCH#
Firewalls (as they currently are):
Username:domain-username
Password:domain-password
FIREWALL>enable
Password:domain-password
FIREWALL #
With the firewalls however, they require your domain username and password first, and then your domain password again when using the enable command. I want the firewalls to use the enable level password that the switches currently use instead of the domain password again. The current configuration look like the following:

Cisco ASA works that way by design. You could remove "aaa authentication enable" and then you could use the "enable password" command to set your enable password.
But if you do that, then ASA would change your username to "enable_15". That would break Authorization and Accounting if you're using them. Let me clarify with an example
Firewalls :
Username:domain-username
Password:domain-password
FIREWALL>show curpriv
Username : domain-username
Current privilege level : 1
Current Mode/s : P_UNPR
FIREWALL>enable
Password:enable-password-from-running-config
FIREWALL #show curpriv
Username : enable_15
Current privilege level : 15
Current Mode/s : P_PRIV
If you're using Authorization and Accounting it's recommended to stick with your current behavior.
