Why Flash CC crashes while working

Unable to save file progress.

As you are working for a website, then you don't need a 300 Mb fla source file.. When I was new to flash I was doing such mistakes like importing images and videos as it is without preparing them to be imported to flash. Even a 20 MB FLA file is still large.
well, my advice if you still have your projects assets (images, audios...etc) then delete your current bad FLA and start a new project, and then do the following:
1> resize and/or rescale your photos (you can use Adobe Fireworks which has a batch processing or you can download Microsoft powertoy resizer which resize only JPEG photos).
2> try to encode your audio files if you have one using an editor like WAVPAD that can edit and compress audio files and convert them to any format you wish. I recommend 64 or 128 mp3.
wish you success.

Photoshop CC 64bit regularly crashes while working in 3D. My PC is Windows 8.1.  I am trying to create 3D text but while I am adjusting extrusion depths or editing the materials, the program crashes.  I am able adjust my graphics card settings to give more memory to Photoshop for 3D, but I don't know what are the best settings to use.
    Here are my System Settings:

The interactive manipulations in 3D are quite dependent on the display driver for your video card.   I notice yours is a bit out of date:
    >gpu[0].DriverDate="20130829000000.000000-000"
It's possible a newer driver may help.  Visit nVidia.com to facilitate downloading/installing their latest release.
That said, I've also found Photoshop can get flakey once you start working on 3D stuff.  I've had amazing, long sessions where it just worked, and I've had others where it just wouldn't cooperate - doing exactly the same things.
It's then that you start to appreciate the auto-save in the background, but even then once in a while it doesn't auto-recover, so you want to save your work in multiple master files fairly often.
I think the latest version (14.1.2) seems about the most stable for 3D work so far.

Captivate 4 crashes while working with Power Builder projects..Can anyone help to solve this issue??

Yes but there's no point doing it here. As the Terms of Use make quite clear this is a User to User forum. It's Users like you talking to other Users. It's not a channel to communicate with Apple.

  • Crashing while working with inventor drawings.

I have a user who works with Acrobat Standard X, and uses redlining to markup inventor drawings. While working the buttons across the toolbars near the top of the window will sometimes start to disappear(black box appears over them).   When that happens if the users notices he can sometimes use a keyboard shortcut in time to save the drawing before work is lost, but shortly after the application crashes with no error messages.
Is there a log or other process I can monitor to find out what is happening.

  • Screen flashes/flickers white while working

    Hey,
since the upgrade of my Macbook Pro to Yosemite i noticed that the viewport of Photoshop flashes white while working.
This happens while moving stuff around or moving around with the spacebar and on some other occasions.
I have the latest Photoshop CC and a fully updated Yosemite 10.10.1. I could not find any solution anywhere.
    tips?

Hmm, actually it was turned off. And every time i turned it back on it didn't save it on the next startup.
I have Reinstalled photoshop and turned Use Graphics Processor on. Works smooth so far.
So my Cpu caused that white flickering? Because it seems like it just happened while not using my gpu.(so far)

  • Flash CS5 crashes while inserting a keyframe in Motion Editor

When I try to insert a keyframe in Motion Editor, Flash CS5 crashes.
I tried to use two computers running the same Mac OS X 10.5.8 with the same specs and only one of the machines crashes.
    Any ideas?

Is it any FLA on that machine?  As in, you can open a brand new FLA with nothing in it, draw a square, turn it into a tween, and inserting any keyframe in the motion editor crashes Flash?  That said, since you cannot reproduce on another system that's identical, it sounds like something went wrong in the install process.  I'm not sure what it might be, as we haven't encountered that kind of problem internally (or a crash on property keyframe insert).

Is it the expected behaviour in 10g or it's some kind of bug???

Will appreciate your suggestions and comments....you've hit an unexpected os dependent error (i.e error in the os specific support code) triggered by the cpu removal. it looks like the big lesson is that cpus are not so hot swappable in multi-processor systems as one might imagine. As a mental exercise consider whether you expect the sudden removal/death of the cpu on which smon or pmon is running to result in an operational system.

  • After the upgrade to 3.6, my flash player crashes while I'm trying to play Farmville. I have tried updating the flash player. I have tried restarting the computer. Nothing is working.

Last night, my system was still using Firefox 3.5.8. I was playing Farmville on Facebook and everything was working fine. This morning, I log onto my computer and find that I am upgraded to Firefox 3.6. I have been trying to play Farmville all morning, and the Adobe Flash Player keeps crashing. I have tried to update the Flash Player. I have tried restarting the computer. Nothing is working.

    http://facebook.com

To anyone experiencing this problem after trying the steps I posted above, try this potential solution:
    # Open Tools->Add-Ons->Plugins, find Shockwave Flash, and press Disable
    # Hold down the '''Windows logo key''' and press '''R''' to bring up the ''Run'' dialog.
    # Type '''%APPDATA%''' and press OK.
    # Open the Adobe folder
    # Right click on the Flash Player folder and press '''Rename'''. Type in ''Old Flash Player'' as the new name.
    # Go back to the Application Data or AppData folder. (On Windows XP, click '''Up''' in the toolbar. On Windows 7 or Vista, click AppData in the address bar)
    # Open the Macromedia folder and repeat step #5
    # Go back to the add-ons window from step #1, and press Enable on Shockwave Flash
    # Try Farmville, Youtube, and other affected sites to see if the problem is fixed.

  • Is anyone else experiencing Adobe Flash Player crashing while playing Facebook games?

Since updating Flash Player, it crashes often while I'm playing Zynga poker. My operating system is Windows 7, 64 -bit, Firefox my browser.  Would like to know if there is something I can do to fix the problem.

Run the appropriate installer for your operating system and browser.
If installing for Internet Explorer, run the installer with "winax" in the file name.
For Windows, running the executable that ends with .exe is recommended.
For me both options above are the same, cause IE only works on windows...? So I seriously still don't know now what installer or .exe to use for Vista 32 bits in combination with Firefox when I look at this list....
    Windows XP/Vista/7/2003/2008
       - Internet Explorer: flashplayer11_2r202_233_winax_32bit.exe
       - Internet Explorer: flashplayer11_2r202_233_winax_32bit.msi
       - Netscape: flashplayer11_2r202_233_win_32bit.exe
       - Netscape: flashplayer11_2r202_233_win_32bit.msi
       - Standalone: flashplayer11_2r202_233_win_sa_32bit.exe
       - Uninstaller: uninstall_flashplayer11_2r202_233_win_32bit.exe
Can you please point out the right one? Thanks!

  • Flash CS5 crashed while saving (unexpected error)

When working on a flash project in cs5 my computer crashed. When I re opened it i got a text box saying unexpected file type.
Any help, advice or answers would be great. I've been working on this project for almost a hundred hours and I would hate to lose it over a system crash. Even telling me that its gone would be a relief.
Also I do have a swf file from the almost completed flash. Is there anyway to convert it back to flash so I can finish editing? I tried using sothink swf decompiler but when I ran it through all I got was a blank fla.
I would greatly appreciate any words or help. Thank you

This has happened to me twice. This time it happened with a file that crashed several times before while moving a MC attached to a IK rig. The final crash was while saving.  All I get now is "An error occurred while opening" and can not open the file.

  • PP crashing while working in Sequence [\TrackItemTrack.cpp-639]

    Hi,
first Post, I'll try to do well in first attempt.
PP 5.5 is crashing with this Debug Event PopUp
    [..\Src\Sequence\TrackItemTrack.cpp-639]
let's me "continue" and then it is broken.
This happens I think randomly soon after I start working with the project. Once it happened right when I right-clicked on a clip in the sequence, but it also happens while watching a tape.
First it was either this or an slightly different error, I tried to fix by removing some .jpg images from the library and the cache folder which made the error to occur "later" after opening the project again.
Now, I tried to disable - enable my sequence content and to import the sequence from another copy of the project.

    PP Screenshot http://imgur.com/rHhFW
Edit: Also, when I want to add clips from Source Monitor, they seem at normal size when moving over the sequence and seem shortened when placing them. And this happens also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCZ0nsU6c88

Congrats on a nicely documented first post. The only thing missing is a screenshot of the error message itself and when exactly it happens and where on the timeline when playing, so we may be able to reproduce that error.
Your Process Explorer screenshots are very nice to see. Your system with only two disks and stuck in software MPE mode, due to the Radeon card, can use all the help it can get to make for comfortable editing. From that perspective you should really tune your system. See this link that also applies to Win7: Adobe Forums: Guide for installing and tuning a Vista...
From a quick look at all the processes running, I assume you still have the sidebar installed. If so, completely uninstall it from Control Panel. Kill all the Apple processes like iTunes, iPod, mDNSResponder. Do the same for all the G Data anti virus and firewall processes, kill all the unnecessary Logitech utilities and possibly the Acronis imaging software. That will free a lot of resources, making for a snappier editing experience. Last, don't run Chrome when editing.

  • Media Encoder CC crashes while working on queued H264 files.

While I am editing my videos I send them to Adobe Media Encoder CC as H264 for youtube.  Even with only encoder running windows 7 crashes with the blue screen.  This is the only program that causes this.  I was looking to uninstall this program and it is not an option in control panel.  Do I have to uninstall Premiere CC to have this removed?  I was going to try an uninstall/reinstall to test if this fixes it.  The machine is a current machine with 64GB ram running on SSD.
    Thanks all

A BSOD on Windows 7 is most often a sign of a serious problem, much more frequently caused by faulty hardware or driver than the actual software running when the crash occurred.
As exports often push a system to it's limits, I'd probably start by looking at the cooling of your system.

  • SAPGUI 7.20 patch level 7 crashes while working in ALV using drop downs

We have a set of users that work mostly in ALV transactions and can have a few open at the same time.  They also use the drop downs quite frequently switching back and forth between ALV's.  After working like this for awhile SAPGUI crahses.
Unfortunately we have not been able to re-create this issue so I have not entered an OSS message.  The only constant is using ALV & drop downs.
    We have done the following:
Patched the GUI - no help
upgraded pc's  - These user received new pc's with higher memory & Windows 7 this helped slow down the amount of crashes occurring but did not eliminate them.
We have monitored the memory on the pc & that does not seem to be the issue.
    Searched OSS, Google & SDN
They are using the Signature View and IE 8 .
Has anyone else experienced these issues or maybe have some suggestions on how to proceed?
    Thanks,
    Diane Szmurlo

    Thanks for the response Jude.
I cannot say that all ALV users are affected or at least they are not reporting it.  This particular group of users mainly works in ALV & with very large amount of data loaded into the ALV.
I watched the user this morning.  She is filling in data using drop downs & ctrl C and  ctrl V, just s few fields at a time.  There was a note about copying large amount of data in ALV but that has been fixed & we have that patch.
I ran the  nwcheckworkstation and it came back ok.
I wanted to trace the GUI but we cannot recreate the issue.  So the trace would have to be running for sometime before the user crashes which is not even a guarantee and I am not too sure that is a good idea since traces usually produce large files.  Also not too sure which GUI component to trace.
