Why GL balance is splitting and displaying Bus. Area wise in F.01, eventhough I have selected Bus. Area summarization 3 under output control tab.

Even after selecting 3 in output control under BA summarization it is dispalying same as earlier. Even i have tried by selecting for both Company code summarization and BA summarization as 3, it is not displaying correct.

In the New Photos, why can't I split and merge events?

I performed and Update to my computer, and that has changed the entire user interface dynamic within the photos program. I want to be able to merge and split events at will like I used to, or at least have a similar process that does not require "open, copy, copy to, open again, erase" type processes. I dislike making copies when all I want to do is group photos together without having to make another folder and delete them from the previous...items get deleted with no intent on a system like this.

Events don't exist in the application, that's why you can't. Now the primary organisational tool is the Moment, and they are inflexible. Either use Albums or, frankly, if that's a deal breaker for you, another app.

HR Payslip split and display Life Assurance separately

Hi Guys,
I am using the HR payslip transaction pe51 to edit the payslip. The deductions for life assurance, for instance are displayed as an accumulated figure for the same life assurance e.g XYZ Life would have R350, for an employee who has multiple policies with XYZ Life. I want it to display all the policies (different ref numbers) that the employee holds with XYZ Life on the payslip, with their correct, separate figures e.g.
Code Description Amount
2093 XYZ Life (ref 34567) R200
2093 XYZ Life (ref 45679) R50
2093 XYZ Life (ref 12345) R100
Currently it displays:

Balances Upload in SAP from Bus Area to Com Code

Dear All,
I am looking for the steps to upload balances in SAP.
Below is the scenario.
Earlier we had business area say X under company code say ABC
Now that business area is converted as separate company code in system say PQR. with Business area Y and its relevant profit center.
Help me how to upload the balances from Business area X to company code PQR.

My user is asking report for fbl5n and fbl1n line itemwise dispaly vendor and customer.See the report for one time vendor and customer name displaythe line item wise display in FBL!N/FBL5N. but not the display the regular vendors/customer.So one time table name BSEC

Hi,
line item reports FBL1N/FBL5N are reading the line items (wow, what a big surpise ) and displaying information on line item level.
As the vendor/customer name is NOT stored in the line items, you cannot display this in the lines (along with other item level information., like amount, posting key, doc.type, etc.). You may find a field called "Name 1) in the field catalog when configuring the ALV layout but this is empty for normal customers/vendors. It is only filled in for one time (Cpd) customers - the reason is as explained above: for these special accounts, the name IS stored on line item level (it varies from item to item),, that's why it can be read and displayed in the items.
Now how about normal customers/vendors?
You have to activate Business Transaction Event 1650 and implement a simple code so that depending on the account type (D = customer, K = vendor), you get the business partners name from table KNA1 / LFA1 and put it into field Name1.

HI Experts,
How to map in SAP to get the balance sheet at Plant wise, Bus Area wise, Division wise, Product wise. Is it possible to get Balance Sheet at All of these Levels. Because my Client having different Branches and different Products.
Some plants are Depots where as some are Manufacturing Two kind of products. So in this My client wants to See the Balance sheet Like Product wise at the same time Plant wise also.
So please give me any solution. its an very urgent for implementation project.

I know it is possible to get balance sheets at business area level but i do not think its possible at plant or product level.

Equipment action log and display changes nnot updating

Hello Guys,
it is little strange but for some of the equipments action log and display changes are not being updated.
The records are there only till 2007 but since 2008 whatever changes we make now they are not being recorded in action log or changes.
But strange thing here is usage list is being updated as it is supposed to be.
i have checked most of the config. but really not helpful.
i am clueless here.
Can anyone help?

I'm having exactly the same problem as Kitcarhans just as of now, with the same font (Lato).
I tried to follow Abhishek's recommended steps, but they are unclear to me, and in any case, didn't have any effect.

Not sure what this step is instructing me to do; rename them to what new name? Any? The same?
"3. Launch Muse and add the font again"
The font was never removed… was it supposed to have been? Well, in any case, I tried removing and then re-adding, but no effect there either…
Could you clarify these instructions for me, or if they don't apply to the current problem, advise? The two websites I'm working on now both use Lato, so I can't do much of anything until I solve this problem…

Finder can not find and display certain files. Why? Any fix,please?

I've discovered to my surprise that Finder can not find and display certain files. Computer is Mac book OS X (10.6.8)
No matter what Finder settings I use, there are files which it can not detect and display.
Here are just some examples of files sitting in the HD but Finder can not display them:

Interesting suggestions but the problem remains -Finder (aka Spotlight) is not capable to find certain files.Period.
I consider it as a fault of the system because in comparison, a search facility of a plain Windows based machine is capable to dig out and display any file, no matter now deeply hidden...
As far as the suggestion above by softwater goes , well, I've used the additional foptions extensively and nothing produced the result needed -that's why I created this discussion.
If someone still believes that using Finder with all its options is good enough, here is a test for you to perform on your own Mac:
-Open /Library/StartupItems/ and have a look inside - most likely you have a bunch of items. Write down the names of one or two of them. For this test I've chosen
FxLicenseManager located in    /Library/StartupItems/. You can use any file you want grom this location...
- Then go to Finder and set it to display everything in Library of the HD. Remember - for this test you pretend you don't know any file name in this folders.
If the Finder works properly it shall display folders of Library >Startup items with all stuff inside, including the FxLicenseManager file I used for this test.
Finder displayed nothing. It is obvious that for Finder, certain locations are off limits. That's why I consider Finder as a faulty.
Of course if someone can set the Finder's options to do the above search and succeed, I'll be glad to try ...:-)
At this point, what I gather from this discussion is that :
1. Finder (Spotlight) feature is not to be trusted,despite number of fancy but rather useless options.
2. If you need to really find everything usually not displayed by Finder you better get real searching software.

Is your Apple ID one of the old ones which isn't an email address but simply a username? you can't use that to make an iCloud account.
I'm not sure whether you can change the ID to an email address (such as a free GMail address) at http://applied.apple.com - you could try that; if you can't do that you will have to create a new Apple ID for use with iCloud. You can still use the present one for these forums and iTunes.

This is very popular.. I do not know of what works well on Mac OS because i have installed 5.6 utility which of course has far more info than the later toy version. Plus using an Asus router which has excellent listing of all the clients.
Sometimes beating yourself up to make apple routers do what you want is easier solved with lateral thinking.

It is a misconception that Business Areas are not recommended by SAP.
Business Areas and Profit Centres serve two different purposes and Profit Centres are NOT a replacement for BAs nor vice-versa.
We have just implemented ECC 6.0 using Business Areas and there was no indication at any stage neither from SAP nor its consultants that BAs will not be supported. There is no SAP written document that these will not be supported and if there is, I would be interested to look at it.
