Where do I go to ask questions about my I tunes account

You can see the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : if you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
If there is something on it that you don't recognise then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com
If the 'report a problem' link doesn't work (or if you can't find the item on your purchase history) then you can try contacting iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

    I have had the iPhone 4s since the time it was released in the uk, u had no problems with it, it's network coverage was pretty good, the loudness of the speakers was good ad the battery would last me an entire day, now after installing the new ios 5.0.1, my sous has gone, I can't hear the music playing, I can't here te clicks and the tap sounds when touching the phone, the only time it makes sound is when I make a call and I can put it on loud speaker, other than that there's no sound coming from te loud speaker, oh yeah Siri seems to be working fine. Do aby of you people know what's wrong and if any of you lot are going through the same problem or any other problems since tbe update to ios5.0.1, apple you need to get this sorted as the speaker is important to some of us if not all and it would be great if you could sort this out and any other problems caused by this update and to allow the phone to work and operate the way it should, thanks!

    Hi Guys,  I FIXED IT!!!!
    I have post eariler on this forum and as you know I have the same problem, I have tried all the things listed here and nothing was perminant in fixing this painful iphone hating problem.... and failed.  But I need to happily say that I now have the fix!!!!  This worked for me and I fixed it by myself so you don't need to go to apple or service centre or anything.
    Ok I like so many of you here truly believed this was as IO5 issue as it only dropped the sound on the speakers once that IO5 update came along.  I tried a bunch of reset, reboots, home clicks, lock and unlocks, to fix this and all failed.  some worked for an hour but then failed.  hours of my life that I will never get back.   but since I have learnt this is not a IO5 problem but a hardware issue! ...  and in paticualar is has to do with your bottom connection.  Your phone is thinking it is docked all the time.
    To fix the no sound problem what you need is...
    1.  a torch
    2.  a tooth brush
    3.  methalated spirits
    4. a butter knife
    Step 1.
    get your torch and shine it down the bottom connection plate to see what kind of dust, sand, hair or anything you have stuck in there.   all that need to be removed!  everything!  it might look clean but still thats ok go to step 2.
    step 2.
    Turn on your music app and put the speakers on!  If your phone is like mine it should not work.  you most probably don't even have the volume display to turn it on but its ok, just do it! and it should still play with no sound.   its important you try and run the speakers as this will show you that it is a hardware problem.
    step 3.
    Dip your tooth brush into some methated sprits.   then at your sink tap the exess metho out of your brush as you just want the brushes to be slightly damp, not soaking wet and then scrub the bottom connetiors on your iphone.  work the brush back and forward in a way that scoops the dirt out of the phone, not just pushing it side to side.
    (As you bushing you should notice the volume bar come back on or off as you scub.   This happened to me and that is how I realised I was on the right track to fixing this problem as I was doing something external that was actually controling when the volume display came on or off.   but once I cleaned it this still didn't fix the problem...)
    Step 4.
    Use the back side of a butter knife (not the sharp side) to gently slide over the connectors on the iphone.  Do this gently as you are only pushing down on the tiny metal contect bars and you should notice the volume display come on again.  slide it back and forward.  Now the area of interest is about 2/3 along the connection plate to the right.   This is the area that has the infomation sent when your iphone thinks its docked.
    This has worked for me and I have not had a problem since I did this 2 weeks ago.   I have since learnt that the new IOS 5 has activated a different part of the bottom conectors.  if you have been using dodgy connectors or unapproved apple cables (as I was)  any damage or hair and dirt on the terminal this is effecting it.  Try it.   just remember if you can do something external to your phone then there lies the problem.

  • Help--why has MacBook screen gone dark and how do I get it back?

    I have a  MacBook (model 4,1  running OS 6.8).  I use the MacBook as my desktop computer in conjunction with a separate desktop monitor. Today, when I unplugged a USB hub from one of the ports (after carefully ejecting anything on the desktop that needed to be ejected before unplugging), the screen on the MacBook--not the separate monitor--suddenly went dark.  I thought it had gone to sleep or into screensaver mode, but noticed that the white light on the MacBook also wasn't showing. 
    The separate monitor display (on which I'm typing this message) seems fine.  I checked DIsplays/Arrangement in System Preferences, but both displays were detected in their usual arrangement, though I did notice that the working display has a white bar across the top but the MacBook display doesn't have one.  I clicked "Detect Displays," but that didn't change anything.
    I then did a restart, and things seemed to go as usual:  the shutdown went okay and on restart, the white light went on on the MacBook and the monitor screen lit up normally.  However, the MacBook's screen is still dark and the white light is off.
    Can anyone tell me why this happened and how to get my MacBook screen back?  I don't know whether unplugging the hub caused the problem or whether it was just a coincidence that something that runs the MacBook display happened to fail right then.  Would appreciate any help out there very much--thanks!
    PS: Just tried shutting down and powering on again with the separate monitor unplugged, but the MacBook screen still stays black and the white light shuts off as soon as the desktop loads.  When I plugged the separate monitor back in, it worked fine.  So the problem doesn't seem to be a conflict with the separate monitor (which I've used for years).

    Update:  I went away for an hour, and when I came back I saw that the white light had gone on as usual when the MacBook went to sleep.  When I touched the keyboard, both displays went on; however, the MacBook display went dark immediately and the white light is still out.

  • What is my Jabber account and why has it kicked me out?

    I don't know what Jabber does but from what I have seen I need to be logged in to it to have iMessage work correctly.
    I have recently started having problems with Messages (amongst many other things!) on my Mac mini (late 2012) in particular, sharing photos via iPhoto, even more particular to more than one person at a time.
    At the same time I have noticed that Jabber is off line, if I try to log in I get asked to insert a pass word, I don't remember ever setting up an account with a password, but if I did it will have only been the same as any other account I have, however when I put the password in, the box disappears and immediately reappears and I remain off line.

    If you add other accounts to the Messages app after activating the iMessages account then by default (if you don't name them in the Description box) that take the name of the Service they join up to the point you have a second AIM valid Name or a second Jabber valid Name.
    In My List my accounts are Named in the Description Box
    AIM is Aol Instant Messenger  so the Add Screen Shows AOL.  You will see in the right hand pane under Account Info it says it is AIM.
    You will see in the list several others are also AIM Valid accounts.
    If you don't Name them yourself  then the account info is used (like the iMessages one) when you have two or more for that service.
    Google and Facebook run Jabber servers.
    They are unlikely to work with a Hotmail ID (which is MSN and not Native to the Messages app).
    You seem to have Added an Account as Google and tried to use a Hotmail ID
    As the Google Servers only allow IDs that end @Googlemail.com or @gmail.com  it will not work and you will be "Off Line".
    The ID is "accepted" when you type it in as it conforms to an email Address.
    Japib has their Facebook account called chat.facebook.com which happens to be the server name and that it how it appears in the list on the left in their Pic.  It will also be in the Window Menu like that.

    UNBELIEVABLE - I am shocked to hear coverflow has been removed.  I use coverflow all the time, on all of my apple devices (exc iPod Classic as Apple never rectified the issue to display via album/artist).  Its the closest we get today to holding an album (CD/Vinyl).
    I can only hope that Apple can see this as a genuine mistake and give us back coverflow, PLEASE!!!!

    I think that you have system sounds muted.
    System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
    Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
    If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
    If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the control center. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to control center . Tap on the bell icon and system sounds will return.
    If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock can be accessed in the same manner as described above.
