Why has every folder and entire email setup disappeared?

hi! i have used thunderbird for several years on this laptop.... this morning on switching on everything has gone... it is asking me to set up a new email account.... every inbox and local folder has disappeared and the screen looks as if i have just downloaded the programme for the first time.... my addresses are still there....
help please!

Accidentally deleted the Applications folder and Personal Email Setup icon

I have a BlackBerry Curve 8320. I managed to delete my Applications folder, and also managed to delete the "Personal Email Set Up" icon from the BlackBerry Setup folder. I don't have a backup of my device that I can restore from (stupid, I know).
My wife also has an 8320, so I took a backup of her device--she still has the things that were deleted from mine--and I'm trying to restore them using the Advanced restore feature of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, but I don't know what to restore to get these things back.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I originally set them up on the Blackberry itself via the setup wizard (email setup step).
Note- At first I went to the link on my laptop and it didn't work (entered my PIN and IMEI#s and got an error saying I could not access the my device via an HTML browser). So go via device it you have this problem.

   - I deleted an old account I no longer wanted?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive & clear caches.)
Any change on normal boot after that?

when you say your email has been hacked... Do you mean that people are telling you that they are getting emails from you that you never sent?
It is possible that it is a virus, but also it could have been due to a phishing scam.
Another possibility could be that someone is using a script or program that uses your email as an Alias (Mask) to cover up who the email is really being sent from.
As far as what to do if you think you have a virus, just make sure your software is up to date by clicking the () in the upper left and then click 'Software Update'.
You can get virus scanner software, and antivirus programs as well as Rudegar said as well.

Why has my ringtone and sounds changed? Even though it shows the songs I have chosen it still uses default tones etc I have tried to change them but it still uses default ones.

I have this problem too. 4 of my favourite contacts ringtones won't stay as the ones I have selected. They keep reverting to the tone "opening" which isn't even my default one. Has anyone got a solution to this very annoying fault?

Yes. I tried it. But whenever I restart m Mac, the watch folder doesn't work until I reconnect to network or run the Automator... I need a simple system that automatically connects to the network and monitor the folder, even I restart the Mac.
