Warning: The system has not been taken off maintenance mode completely
After I enabled Maintenance mode using adadmin, I ran Compile Flexfields. Then I disabled Maintenance mode. But, on the 11i login page, I keep getting a warning message:

I am sure I disabled the Maintenance mode in adadmin. Why I still get the warning? How to fix it? Thanks a lot.Thanks a lot. That is the fix.
One more question. After I ran "Compile Flexfields", I got

How can I find the failed description flex? The log does not give info on this. And, how to fix it?

How can I import XDCAM footage from files that have been taken off the card?

I am trying to log and transfer footage that has been taken off SxS cards and put onto an external hard drive. I've downloaded the Sony plug-ins for my computer, but still can't import anything in Log and Transfer. Can anyone help?Was THE ENTIRE CARD backed up? Everything? The full card structure? If not, then FCP won't see it...it'll say the directory structure is invalid. IN that case you might need to use the XDCAM TRANSFER UTILITY...separate app that can transcode the footage to QT FCP can use.

Ipad3, using iPhoto, running the latest IOS6, I'm a photographer, please tell me why has the delete (X) been removed in iPhoto?
Ralph, again thanks for the input, but I respectfully disagree. I have been using iPhoto with the iPad3 since it was launched. I have taken and imported at a minimum 6-7k pictures and have used the same methodology of editing and deleting photos (inside of iPhoto app), using the delete (X) on the task bar. I'm an IT project manager as well as an certified software consultant, in other words, I have a better than average knowledge and understanding of apps and the functionality. My only point is that something that was quite functional and very user friendly has now become far more difficult. It was only 9 bucks and a pretty good little piece of software, I'll just find something else that is less time consuming and will check back for iPhoto update and from time to time. Again, thank you for your feedback.

did you get the most recent update? also you might have a lot of apps you need to update, or have too many apps open. to update apps just go to the app store and update all, and to close appls double click your home button and press down on one of the apps that comes up until it starts to wiggle and a - comes up, then touch that to close all your apps.

It should not take more than 4 hr. Is there any indication it is making process? i.e. When you click on it to play do you get a message like "Will be avialable in 2hr 34 min"? Is that time changing? I would cancel the download. Restart ATV and then retry. If it goes more than 4hr then there is an issue.
As another option you can always download the movie to your computer and use the iTuens menus to play it from your computer under the Computers icon. -
