Why has my iTunes gift card suddenly stopped working?
I received a £25 iTunes gift card for my birthday in November and I reddemed it on my iPod touch. I had purchased a film for £6 shortly after Christmas using it and then I decided to wait for the new Disney film Frozen to come out so that I could use the remaining money on it to buy it. However, when it came out at the end of March, I tried buying it but then I saw that the gift card had been taken off my account. Usually it showed that I still had it in the iTunes store at the 'Redeem' section but it didn't have any signs of ever being there. I tried re-redeeming it but it just said that that gift card had already been redeemed.
The only purchase since I reddemed at first was that film I mentioned earlier. I understand that gift cards only expire 2 years after they have been activated so I have no idea what has happened. It's a great pity to lose all the money that was still on it and I really wanted to get that film!
Could someone please help me understand what is going on and if I can still get it to work again???!!!!!

Thanks for the question. Based on what you stated, it seems like the iMac is not recognizing an ethernet connection. What is it connecting to? I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

Problem: I can receive texts in USA but not send texts anymore! And people can no longer phone me from the UK in the USA.
Does three think my phone has been stolen or what? I have not told them I would be going overseas over the weekend.

data use or more.
All you can eat does NOT apply overseas
AND if you did not enable roaming they will certainly believe your iPhone has been stolen

If you have a credit card on your account then its details have to complete - and asking for their details is also a way of checking that you have a valid billing address in that country. As long as you are buying content for yourself and not trying to gift content (you can't use your balance for gifting) then the purchase price (plus any applicable taxes) should be deducted from your balance. Why did video and audio chat suddenly stop working?
I used to be able to video and audio chat with my parents, but it suddenly stopped working. They use AIM.
I get the "There was a communication error during your chat" message come up when I try to connect to their video chat requests. I spent a couple hours reading the old posts on this issue, but nothing seems to work for me. Thanks to anyone who can help me -- my parents in Illinois want to be able to see their grandbaby!

Most routing devices have ports that are open (1 - 1024) that allow you to use Web Browser and Mail apps without any set up.
Certain apps need other ports open or allowed as thy are normally closed (1024 - 65535)
Now there are several ways to open these ports.
One method is called Port Forwarding and points the ports you list to one IP on your LAN (The one your computer is getting/using)
Now if the routing device is left doing DHCP this IP can change now and then meaning the Port Forwarding is no longer pointing to the Computer (IP).
If your computer (or your parents in this case) is left on all the time it tends to keep the IP as the Lease as it is called is renewed.
However if the computer is Off for longer than the lease time It will get a new IP
The thing to do is check the routing device's Settings.
This site lists many devices.
If yours is there click on it.
On the next page Click on iChat
You will now see the Default Access Info (And the Port Forwarding info)
DO NOT DO the Port Forwarding but check the settings.
If it does have Port Forwarding set up check the IP it lists as going to matches the one you see in System Preferences > Network for your computer.
AS you say your parents were away for a time I suspect it may be their end.

I received numerous gift cards from two different people for Christmas. When I went on itunes to redeem them, all of them are saying that they have already been redeemed. Has this happened to anyone before?

Why has my iPad and iPhone suddenly stopped communicating together
up until last night my iPhone and iPad would bother send and recieve iMessages, FaceTime calls and Skype calls. Now my iPad is not receiving iMessages sent to my mobile number and when it sends or communicates it does it through my email address. also last night my iPhone stopped sending iMessages and started sending them as texts. Why has this happened? I didn't change or modify any settings, I did the most recent updates a while ago when they came out, they are both signed into the same iCloud account and to the same wifi. Handoff is turned on on both, please help???
Have you tried going into Settings then into messenger and see if your Apple ID has a tick next to it

My card suddenly stopped working
I have an audigy 2zs that just randomly decided to stop working on me, my computer froze and when i restarted it, the sound card and drivers were no where to be found. i tried to install it again and the creative software told me that i did not have a creative sound card. i have searched all over to try and find a way to get it to register that i do in fact have my card installed in the pci slot correctly but nothing has turned up yet, i havent even opened my pc up to move anything around so that can be ruled out already. i just want to be able to play my music again, thanks.
Thanks for all the advice everyone who replied, but i took a long shot last night and figured out the easiest way of doing it. I ended up using a system restore point from a day before it took effect in my system and it all worked out fine. So I didnt have to really mess around with it that much which is always a good thing. But thanks again for the help.
