Why has my photo stream randomly stopped working?
Photo stream was working fine until last week when, while on vacation, it stopped. I can't get photos taken with iPhone to show up,in photo stream. I have tried all online suggestions I can find. batteries are charged, wifi is working,etc. any suggestions will be appreciated.

We can't know. You have not told us what exactly the problem is. If there are any warnings, you need to provide them along with other info like the crash logs. If not you have to explain the situation in more detail. Just saying that it doesn't work anymore is not particularly useful.

Would any know why the fangame Broken Sword 2.5 stopped working after I decided to update my OS X Lion up to 10.7.5?
Should this be a prompt for me to re-install the game after copying my save files?

Thank youThe savefiles were no where to be found, not even in the Application Support folder.
I re-installed the .dmg file and chose "Replace" after dragging the App icon in to the Applications folder ... And still no results -
I have rebooted, but to no avail. The green light stayed on right through the reboot.
Glad all is sorted. It's very normal for your Mac to get quite warm, especially when used intensly for a long period of time. If the room temperature is very warm, it's well worth switching off or putting it to sleep whenever you can.
Believe it or not, it gets very warm here in the UK once in a blue moon & when it does, I try to keep the room temperature as cool as I can.

Why has my Premier Elements 8 stopped working?

I have been using Premier Elements 8 for a number of years as it suits my requirements exactly. I now find it will not let me open any previous projects or create a new one, I get a message boxes saying either;

And then it does nothing.
I appreciate I am using an older version of Elements, as we are now up to Elements 13, but as I said earlier it suits me fine and does what I want. I just want to carry on using a product I have paid for and am perfectly happy with.
I have resorted to this owing to not being able to find a simple direct email address for Adobe. I am sure there are lots of Elements users out there who are very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help but why can't I contact Adobe directly. It's their product, why do I have to complain in public - Hey, Guys at Adobe I would have liked to have kept it between us.

This is not Adobe. Rather user to user. Visitors here like yourself. Classically, Adobe offers support for the latest version/purchased/registered. That is the way it is and has been.
Lots of troubleshooting paths to follow, but first the typical drill that I give Premiere Elements 8 users.
1. What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 8 running on?
2. Are you running the program as the 8.0.1 Update?
3. Do you have the automatic background rendering and autoanalyzer disabled?
4. Does the problem exist with and without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
5. Do you have QuickTime latest version installed on your computer with Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1?
6. Are you running the program from a User Account with Administrative Privileges?
Let us try the classical approaches and get more drastic, if necessary, as we proceed.
1. Delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if that does not work, then delete the whole 8.0 Folder in which it exists

and in the 8.0 Folder is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then you delete the whole 8.0 Folder
in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. Be sure to be working with Folder Option Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives active
so that you can see the complete path cited.
2. If problem still exists,
a. Deactivate the program using an opened project's Help Menu/Deactivate. Close out of there.
b. Uninstall the program the usual Control Panel way.
c. Do a free ccleaner run through (regular cleaner and registry cleaner parts) to get rid of any leftovers from incomplete uninstalls reinstalls.

d. Install the 8.0.1 Update
Adobe - Premiere Elements : For Windows : Adobe Premiere Elements 8.0.1 update
3. If all else fails, create a new User Account with Administrative Privileges and install and run Premiere Elements 8.0/8.0.1 there.

Why has my password completion option stopped working?
Recently my password completion option has not been working. Well, it seems to be selective and works on some sites and not others. Bad news for me..I have relied on the option so strongly that I do not remember my passwords myself! Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't....
It always worked before! This is only a new problem for about a month now.1. "Download Yaldex free java script editor" - I did it using a text editor. A java script editor is not necessary and I don't see why it would make the task any easier. It works great by the way. Thanks!

3. The reason I was driven to try the dark side - Internet Explorer, etc. - is that for some sites Firefox will remember the login info fine, but seems to get hung and will not login. Internet Explorer 8 will not remember the login info, but works fine when it is entered manually. 2 sites for which this occurs are:

(Actually, for the latter, it doesn't autocomplete the user id field until I click in the box - that's also the case for my main bank site https://www.premier-bank.com/index.html - but I can live with this).
So, can you suggest where I might begin searching for solutions to the remembers-info-but-won't-login problem. I don't have a handle on it.

In short: Click the search magnifying glass and untick 'Search Entire Library'.
Worked for me and also restored the search to be more like previous versions, before they made the search less useful. -
Why has Firefox suddenlhy and permanently stopped working on my MacBook Pro?
Firefox launches and runs for 3-4 seconds, then hangs for 3-4 seconds, then crashes. I have uninstaled and re-installed Firefox "clean" with the same results. I have started in Safe Mode with the same result. I have uninstalled Flash Player, same result. I have downgraded to Flash 10, same result. I purchased an I pad giving my macbook to my husband. His photo stream doesn't work but mine still goes onto macbook . How can I stop that ?
Another item to consider is do you and your husband have your own iTunes accounts? If so then log out of iTunes on your old Macbook and log back in with your husbands ID and password. If not this post will self destruct in 10, 9, 8, ......
