Why has my tab bar rearranged itself?

Normally, when I have multiple tabs open, the little plus sign to add a tab is on the furthest right tab edge. For the past few days it's been moving itself all the way to the left.. well almost. It seems it's attaching itself to my first tab, which is now off my screen and I cannot get to it - which is rather frustrating.
I can supply screen shots if necessary.
How to I lock that add tab plus sign to the tab furthest to the right and have access to all my tabs again?
I have a lot of add ons, but most are currently disabled - only put in use when I need them.
This problem does fix itself when restarting firefox from scratch (not restore session) however, when using several instances of the browser, all multiple tabbed - it's becoming a real problem

I'd try starting Firefox in [[Safe Mode]]. If you don't have the issue while all of your add-ons, extensions, and themes are disabled, you can try adding them back in one by one until you find the culprit. This happened to me one time when they updated Firebug. Have you tried rebooting your machine? Are you multitasking and running out of RAM perhaps? Reboot the machine and check to see if it works again.
If that doesn't work, go into system preferences and check your keyboard shortcuts.

The keyboard is contextual, meaning it changes with intended use.
If you place the cursor in the address bar of the browser, you do not get a space bar since web addresses do not have spaces in them.

Why has my master not applied itself accurately

The master is correct with footer within footer rulers and moves down when I apply content but the site pages all have footer in page content with rulers beneath consequently the footer does not move when I enter content . What have I done to cause this to happen and how do I rectify it. I am having more trouble with understanding the filing system than anything else.In my code should I put<a href="/assets/omrmuse.muse"> where omrmuse.muse is the name of the site I am working on. Does this go in head or body? I know this is probably not your job to teach me these simple things but Muse is such a brilliant piece of equipment that to finish my simple site once this little animation is in place I may never need to trouble you again. I have tried reading up about server paths but unfortunately most people writing about these things assume that the reader is already fully up to speed on what they are talking about whereas to me I have to look up virtually every tenth word or so to see what they are trying to tell me. Can I actually see the files contained in the Muse site folder? In dreamweaver which completely frustrated me, there was a panel with all the files fully visible. I actually got this video working in Dreamweaver and was extatic until I previewed in ie8 and it had grabbed the footer colour and dragged it all over the content area of the page at which stage I decided to try Muse. It is really a revelation and I love it. Sorry to ramble on.

I have an application that performs calculations in metric. It has a TabBar that controls the home view plus 3 other views.
How do I add a button (go to Imperial) on the Home View to change to a new view that has another Tab Bar that controls Imperial views.

I might need to sleep on the concept a day or two before recommending the best structure for DIY Concrete. The first obvious question is whether the same contractor would be dealing with both measurement systems. I.e. does the versatility add value to the app, or would it be better to just have two apps? Just curious... as I'm sure you knew the answer to that question going in.
At first glance, supporting the two measurement systems very closely resembles a straightforward localization job. You certainly don't need a different tab bar controller. It looks like the screen layouts don't need to change in any way, so it's just a question of changing the text of labels and other controls plus minor changes to the computation. In fact doesn't GST Mate already do exactly that?
Anyway if I'm correct in making the localization analogy, I'd tend to implement the switching in the same way as changing locality. I'd switch to a different string resource, and either switch nibs as well, or keep the same controllers. I'm fairly sure it would be easier and cleaner to just switch nibs. If the seg switch is only available from the home screen, it looks like changing the word Metric is about the only transition that needs to be visible to the user (maybe a change in background color too?). That means you can swap out the other three controllers without any attention to those transitions, right?
If you coded GST Mate I'd be surprised if you need any help adding Imperial to your concrete app, but if I come up with any better or more precise ideas I'll let you know.

Why has the "Reload current page" control been moved to the navigation bar Firefox 29? I would like to be able to place it where I had it in Firefox 28.

After getting the Firefox 29 download I tried to rearrange my buttons\controls to where I was used to having them in Firefox 28 and prior. I noticed, in particular, that the "Reload current page" control is no longer available to be set in front of the navigation bar where I've had it for years now. The reason I chose Firefox in the first place was because I could customize it to my liking. I know you can simply right click and "Reload" the tab or just get used to going to the end (right side) of the navigation bar but that defeats the purpose completely for me.
Here's an analogy; Ford decides they will now replace current model cars in the US with British standard style vehicles. Every car sold by Ford will now be right-hand steer. While this may seem like a "no biggy" to some, others, especially those of us who are inclined to drive standard transmission vehicles, may be a bit resistant to that change. Not sure if I successfully made my point or not but hopefully I did.
Initially I thought I'd start by "Has someone fallen and hit their head?' or "Did Steve Ballmer suddenly take over Mozilla, in particular the build of Firefox 29, because this one smells like a Windows 8 (aka the aroma of a full sewer tank on a hot day)?" It is understood that updates are required and as an IT guy, I've been around for many a faux pas where the kinks just need to be worked out. They happen. Maybe some consideration will be made with Firefox 30 to those of us in the states that are used to left-hand steer vehicles.
I may be missing something here, and will gladly fall on my sword if that is the case, but there is no indication that I've seen from the Mozilla sight that the "Reload current page" control can be manipulated in any way as of Firefox 29. On the bright side, I now have a good reason to go back and review some of the browsers I discounted back in the day when I decided to go with Firefox.

The font in Safari's bookmarks bar and tabs bar has suddenly changed to a lighter font. How do I change the font back? I'm not speaking of the font size/type in the web browser in viewing web pages, but the font in the application itself has changed. It's rather annoying and would like to be able to change it back! I'm running Safari v5.1.7

OK, Margie, here's what to do . . .
First Quit Safari.
Then Find your User's (Home) folder library.
It's hidden, but here's how you find the Home Library:
Click on the desktop to get the Finder menu. Then go up to "Go" in the menu bar, while holding down the option key.
You'll now see the User Library in the drop down list. Open it, then look for the Fonts folder.
Take the fonts folder to the desktop.
Restart Safari.
Any better?
(Warning: This is only for the Users/Home > Library > Fonts folder. Under no circumstances, should this be done with the SYSTEM > Library > Fonts folder.)

ive only found how to stop the address bar from disappearing and everyone with the tab problem seems to have posted this over a week ago and still hasnt been fixed yet if noone has a fix im out and done with firefox they can suck a fat one
why add this feature! i can understand the address bar but not the tabs all you have to do to hide it was push the tab button again and its gone was that so fucking hard that you had ruin a perfectly fine browser

In Firefox 23, as part of an effort to simplify the Firefox options set and facilitate future improvements to Firefox, the option to hide the tab bar was removed.
Fortunately, this can easily be resolved if you desire the keep tabs hidden. You can install "[https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/hide-tab-bar-with-one-tab/ Hide tab bar with one tab]", an extension hosted on Mozilla's add-ons site, which will restore the ability to hide the tab bar.

Just downloaded Beta 4 and find the panorama button is missing from the tab bar. Your video showing how to manipulate tabs show the button on the right hand side of the tab bar, on my download it is missing why, also some of the other bars shown in your video are missing to, why??

You can add it if you want, right-click on a toolbar and select Customize. You can then drag and drop the "Tab Groups" icon from the customize toolbar dialog onto the toolbars. You can use this method to add other icons to the toolbars.

Why clicking the same tab of tab bar returns to the top view of navigation?

Hi, I have a problem combing the UITabBarController and UINavigationController.
I have 5 tabs and in some tab using navigation controller to switch the view layers.
Suppose i'm on tab 0 and go to the second view layer of navigation controller.
When i click the tab 0 again in the tab bar, it takes me back to the top view. It's really weired.
Why do this happen? Can i override the effect?

Either someone has installed a client side cert into Safari or the site in question has let their SSL cert expire. (not your fault). You could try using Firefox or Chrome instead.

The question "Adjust the location of the tabs bar" has been closed, but the solution is unsatisfactory

The updates from version 29 on have moved the tab bar as well as changed the position & function of the address bar. The "solution" to the question in quotes above is not a solution, the question was just closed. The question owner was able to return 95% of the function the way he had it & has settled for that. I don't find it acceptable & have opted to revert to version 28. I'm worried I might have to switch browsers after using Firefox since the first beta version. Is there no way to keep the options from version 28 (mainly the position of the tab & address bars) in updated versions? I tried the Classic Theme Restorer, but it didn't help. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit & Firefox 28 right now with no problems, but I assume as Firefox advances some functions on the older version will fail. Help please?

I can't remember exactly what the issue was with the address bar, just that it's orientation with other objects changed. I'm an old guy ;-) & don't do change well anymore! The tabs bar was my biggest issue, if it's not directly above the window I get really messed up when browsing. I'm starting to believe I should just switch back to IE & be done with it. Firefox has been great, but realistically all I use my computer for now that I've retired is e-mail, news & a little research. Actually. I just convinced myself to use IE. Thanks for your time.
