Why has my uk iphone 4s suddenly stopped working in USA?

Phone: iPhone 4 S
Contract: monthly "all you can eat" contract with Three 3 UK
Problem: I can receive texts in USA but not send texts anymore! And people can no longer phone me from the UK in the USA.
Does three think my phone has been stolen or what? I have not told them I would be going overseas over the weekend.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Contact 3 asap you may have been frozen because of inadvertant excessive
data use or more.
All you can eat does NOT apply overseas
AND if you did not enable roaming they will certainly believe your iPhone has been stolen
and taken out of the country

I received a £25 iTunes gift card for my birthday in November and I reddemed it on my iPod touch. I had purchased a film for £6 shortly after Christmas using it and then I decided to wait for the new Disney film Frozen to come out so that I could use the remaining money on it to buy it. However, when it came out at the end of March, I tried buying it but then I saw that the gift card had been taken off my account. Usually it showed that I still had it in the iTunes store at the 'Redeem' section but it didn't have any signs of ever being there. I tried re-redeeming it but it just said that that gift card had already been redeemed.
The only purchase since I reddemed at first was that film I mentioned earlier. I understand that gift cards only expire 2 years after they have been activated so I have no idea what has happened. It's a great pity to lose all the money that was still on it and I really wanted to get that film!
Could someone please help me understand what is going on and if I can still get it to work again???!!!!!

Thanks for the question. Based on what you stated, it seems like the iMac is not recognizing an ethernet connection. What is it connecting to? I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

There is no water damage or anything. I got that checked at the Apple store. I also have Apple Care + but didnt let them give me a new one yet because I have photos on this that I have no yet backed up that are very important. They are the last photos I have with my grandfather. Can anyone help me. Please!

If the phone shows the "connect to iTunes" screen, the data on the phone is most likely lost.
Connecting in recovery mode is your only chance to use the phone again, besides getting it serviced by Apple.

IPhone 3GS suddenly stopped working with wifi in only one location

This is the situation. I have an iPhone 3GS and it the wifi suddenly stopped working at my house (just with the iPhone).
I have an Airport express (latest generation) and a time capsule (1st generation). All of my devices (except a PC laptop which isn't much of an issue, and the iPhone) cannot connect to it. The devices I have are as follows: Apple TV, iPod Touch, iPad 2, the "new" iPad, a macintosh computer.
However, when I move the Airport express to my work location, and plug it into the ethernet there, the iPhone works totally fine. It seems like the issue is just at my house. The Time Capsule works intermittently sometimes; random devices cannot connect to the network sometimes. The airport express seemed to fix this problem. I have read that this problem is related to the operating system "Lion" but the network was working fine for months and months after I have upgraded to lion. Sometimes both devices cease to work, and there is no internet to any devices in my home.
The network is password protected, so that removes the possibility of neighbors connecting to the network. The name of the network contains spaces and "symbols" which I have heard is an issue for PC's trying to connect to networks. Both my home and my workplace are on the same internet provider.
My questions are:
Why does the airport express work with the iPhone at my workplace and not at my house?
How many devices can a 1st gen Time Capsule handle at once?
If I buy an airport extreme, will it fix this issue?
How can I fix this?
I have restarted the device several times (both the iPhone and Time Capsule) and it still didn't fix anything.

Using the delete all content and settings option is not restoring the iPhone. Using the delete all content and settings option does exactly that - all content and settings are securely deleted except for the firmware, which is not a restore.
If you do this followed by re-installing an app via the iTunes sync process, the app settings and any data created and stored by the app will be lost. 3rd party app settings and data created and stored by a 3rd party app is not stored with the app on your iPhone and is not stored with the app or synced with the app in your iTunes library on your computer.
3rd party app settings and data created and stored by a 3rd party app is stored separately from the app on your iPhone and is included with your iPhone's backup which is updated as the first step during the iTunes sync process.
Restoring an iPhone with iTunes completely erases the iPhone first followed by the firmware being re-installed. After the firmware is re-installed, you are prompted to restore your iPhone from your iPhone's backup, which is the default selection. The other selection available is as a new iPhone. After either one, this must be followed by a sync with iTunes. If you restore from your iPhone's backup followed by re-installing an app that stores data you need to access, the data will be restored with the app. If you restore as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup followed by re-installng an app, the app settings and any data created and stored by the app will not be restored with the app since you didn't restore your iPhone from your iPhone's backup where this data is stored.
If you restore your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup with no change, you can follow this by restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup to recover the 3rd party app settings and the data created and stored by the app along with all other data included with your iPhone's backup.

I felt the same way. It happened on my 4s which I use in the kitchen as an ipod and it just suddenly stopped work, just like yours did. Only upside was that without music I also stopped cleaning the kitchen until it was fixed... now why wont my iron break?

Why did video and audio chat suddenly stop working?

I used to be able to video and audio chat with my parents, but it suddenly stopped working. They use AIM.
I get the "There was a communication error during your chat" message come up when I try to connect to their video chat requests. I spent a couple hours reading the old posts on this issue, but nothing seems to work for me. Thanks to anyone who can help me -- my parents in Illinois want to be able to see their grandbaby!

Ok,
Most routing devices have ports that are open (1 - 1024) that allow you to use Web Browser and Mail apps without any set up.
Certain apps need other ports open or allowed as thy are normally closed (1024 - 65535)
Now there are several ways to open these ports.
One method is called Port Forwarding and points the ports you list to one IP on your LAN (The one your computer is getting/using)
Now if the routing device is left doing DHCP this IP can change now and then meaning the Port Forwarding is no longer pointing to the Computer (IP).
If your computer (or your parents in this case) is left on all the time it tends to keep the IP as the Lease as it is called is renewed.
However if the computer is Off for longer than the lease time It will get a new IP
The thing to do is check the routing device's Settings.
This site lists many devices.
If yours is there click on it.
On the next page Click on iChat
You will now see the Default Access Info (And the Port Forwarding info)
DO NOT DO the Port Forwarding but check the settings.
If it does have Port Forwarding set up check the IP it lists as going to matches the one you see in System Preferences > Network for your computer.
AS you say your parents were away for a time I suspect it may be their end.

My iPhone sound suddenly stopped working.

I have had my iPhone 4s for over a year with no problems other than the occasional slow down, etc. Just last night, the sound on my phone randomly stopped working. It will work for a few seconds then stop, and just keep doing it. Its my ringtone, text tone, keypad tone, music, and video apps. I've tried turning the phone on and off with no luck. I just want to know why my phone has suddenly started doing this when it was just working fine and how to fix it. Please help?

None of these methods worked, so I just took a very thin paintbrush and dampened it using a Clorox wipe. Then, I just wiggled it around in the charging port. The sound worked for like 3 seconds then it stopped again. So I continued to clean it and it worked! After I listened to my music for about 30 minutes until it stopped again. I just blew hard into the port and it started working again. I think the problem was that the phone thought it was docked into speakers because it was so dirty. I think I'm going to get an Otterbox so this doesn't happen again. I hope I helped.

Thank you for the additional information,
When you distribute your form, did you select "Copy Link" and then pasted in the email or did you select "Email Link" and your email client automatically launched with the form url in the body of the email?
You may want to check (if you are using MS Outlook/Exchange) the email format you have selected: HTML, Plain Text, Rich Text. Please check with your IT about this setting.
Also, if you were to copy another link, for example, http://www.adobe.com in your email, would it still highlight as a link or plain text?

The matter isn't closed for others coming to this thread looking for an answer. Repairing permisions is much easier than a reinstall. It worked for me.

Why did my junk email filter suddenly stop working?

I have been using Thunderbird successfully for some time. Usually junk email goes to the Junk folder automatically. It suddenly stopped doing so. MY settings have not changed.

What happens in you use Thunderbird safe mode?
Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu (alt+H) , click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender.

IMessage on iPhone 4s suddenly stopped working

I was texting my friends as usual today when suddenly my iMessage just completely stopped working. All of my contacts turned to green except for one but whenever I sent a text to her, it would fail to send. I tried turning off iMessage and returning it back on but it remained at "waiting for activation" for hours. I tried resetting the Network but that did not work either. I'm getting pretty annoyed at this problem since all my group chats and other iMessage chats will not be working for me. Solutions anyone?

3G on my iPhone 4 suddenly stopped working for my and my mom. Help?

My Mom and I have had iPhone 4s for almost a year. They are up to date. Yesterday and Today, however, the 3G no longer works. It has always worked up to this point. Does anybody have any ideas as to why or how to fix this? Thanks

-My Dad's iPhone is fine
-They are not Jailbroken
-The 3G worked up until yesterday
-We have not left the area for a while
-Other people we know with iPhones are not having any issues

try a reset you won't lose any data. hold down the home/power button together until you see the apple logo and then release. wait for the phone to boot back up. see if that helps.

Help, why did all my adobe products suddenly stopped working ????

im a photoshop and indesign user,
suddenly one day photoshop is freezing on open, and i cannot do any functions with it.... so eventually frustrated with it, i uninstall it and try to reinstall. however, i open creative suite and it tells me i need to update creative suite, so i do this. creative suite finds a problem half way and tells me it cannot complete the install.. after that i cant even find creative suite on my computer any more. it has vanished completely. i also notice that indesign isnt working.
so i go to the adobe website and try to re-download photoshop from my account history. and no matter how many times i click the download button, nothing happens !!!!!!
what the HECK IS GOING ON??? someone please help

You need to say what version of Photoshop and InDesign, and what Operating System you are using?
Did you deactivate before reinstalling (you may not have had the option if it was not working).

Your phone may be out of battery or may have shut down due to overheating.
Try plugging it into its charger. If an empty battery with a charging symbol appears, you're good. Just let it charge for a few minutes.
If you were using your phone excessively and it is extremely hot, wait until it cools down then turn it on again.
