Why has the "currently playing" symbol disappeared in itunes 11.0.4?

The little loudspeaker icon that appears to the left of the "name" column has disappeared from my itunes 11.0.4. I can't find a button in Preferences or a selection under "View" that would get it back. Does anyone know how to make it reappear? (I know I can look up at the info bar to see the title, but it's a lot faster to just glance at the name column.) Thanks!

Why has the "resume play" feature never worked on rented on demand movies.

I've had Fios for over 2 years now and have been generally happy, but there is one feature that is driving me and my family crazy! The resume play on rented movies does not work, has never worked, and from reading these forums Verizon has no fix for it. It's been a known issue and it boggles my mind that it can't be fixed. When will there be a fix?

This problem seems to have been known to Verizon for several years. I just completed a Live Chat with a Verizon representative and was told "This should be resolve in few days.". Is this the standard response Verizon has been providing their customers over the past few years when questioned about the problem? When I questioned why it's taken so long, I was told "It was resolved in between but there were few settings that were still suppose to be changed and they are working on it. " If Verizon spent as much time actually fixing the problem as they have in addressing all the inquiries that have been made about the problem, this issue, most likely, could have been resolved a long time ago. Enough excuses. Let's have a solution!

Why has the big battery indicator disappeared?

My iPod Touch (IOS 6.1.3) no longer shows the big battery indicator when the iPod is turned on or plugged in for a recharge. The battery seems to charge ok according to the tiny battery indicator but the big indicator has disappeared for good. Also, when plugged in, the tiny indicator doesn't show charging is taking place.
In addition, the device no longer shows up in iTunes and doesn;t sync. I suspected a defective cable but chraging does seem to work. Have tried recycling power to no efect.

Why has the Purchased Music tab disappeared in the Greek itunes

Hello,
when iTunes launched Match here in greece last week I jumped on the bandwagon, however the "Purchased Music" tab has now dissapeared from iTunes and i cannot redownload any of my purchased music. Also the iTunes Match icon has dissapeared from under the STORE menu.

I''m so ****** this is happening; I want to know why Song//purchased from ITUNES STORE Disappear after awhile from my playlists!! I purchased them...then I'm able to play for like 2 months; THEN THEY DISAPPEAR!! what the **** is the matter with them? I'm not going to purchase a song TWICE!!! What- the....??

Seems I'm having a similar problem where songs on my purchased playlist for the same artist and different albums disappeared (exclamation point on song names and message saying they can't be located). I went back to my iTunes account to redownload them and don't have access to the download button for those songs. They're grayed out and read "downloaded".
I back up but haven't lately thinking I was safe. I once contacted Apple about another purchased song that all of a sudden had a glitch in it. I went back to redownload it and had the grayed out button. Apple reactivated it, no reason given as to why it was deactivated BUT I discovered the song downloaded from my "cloud" purchased playlist had the same glitch in it where it didn't before. So, I'm guessing that the songs on the cloud are syncing to our playlists on our computers. Which is disconcerting. I know Idid not accidently throw out the songs for the same artist and different albums. So, something sinister's up. I'm contacting Apple with this concern and will post the results.

Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

IKR! But u an order a connector that can plug nto any old speakers and then connect to your charger port and it will play music!

It should not take more than 4 hr. Is there any indication it is making process? i.e. When you click on it to play do you get a message like "Will be avialable in 2hr 34 min"? Is that time changing? I would cancel the download. Restart ATV and then retry. If it goes more than 4hr then there is an issue.
As another option you can always download the movie to your computer and use the iTuens menus to play it from your computer under the Computers icon.

An exclamation mark means that it doesn't know where you moved the music to. To fix this, click on the exclamation point and when it asks you to browse to the location where you moved it to, use the normal commands to go up and down folders in your external drive until you find the song. Repeat as necessary.

You might be able to achieve what you want by using Party Shuffle. Set the source for Party Shuffle to be the playlist you want to listen to or add the tracks you want to listen to by control clicking on them and selecting Add to Party Shuffle. Once everything is in Party Shuffle, you can rearrange them to your satisfaction. As the songs are played, they'll roll off the queue. You can quit iTunes and even when you restart, all your songs will be there, in the order you want, waiting for you to hit play.

If you are referring to Pages v5.2.2 on Mavericks, or v5.5.1 on Yosemite — the rulers do not disappear in the Pages document when using the Print (cmd+P) keyboard shortcut. The document horizontal rules are temporarily obscurred by the drop down print dialog sheet.
I observe no evidence of disappearing rules unless they are forced via the cmd+R keyboard shortcut.
