Why have I got an exclamation mark in the top left corner of my outbox iphone 5
I sent a message to a third party and it got delivered ok. Since then I am now seeing an exclamation mark inside a red area in the top left hand corner of my iphone 5. I've tried logging out of Yahoo and then back in. I've switched my phone off for two minutes and then gone back in but the thing is still there?
Help please anyone.

Hey Scott! Like I said, I thought I had done some damage -- even though the drop was just a couple of inches that was my very first thought, but when it came and went with which app I was in (or not) I knew it wasn't a damaged SCREEN. So I wondered if it was a different damaged part, memory or some such.
When I saw that others had the exact same shape, I could only imagine that perhaps the phone was indicating it was running a diagnostic, had been forcefully dropped, had a faulty/damaged accelerometer or some other purposeful object. It clearly wasn't random, it was a definite shape.
Hey Paul! I'm hoping they've seen the issue and tried replacing a few parts or something... Ya never know. As a (mostly) retired guy I have the time!
I also mentioned in a kind of oblique way that I had enabled the Kanji keyboard. I should also mention that I have the field strength test enabled so that I am able to see the -db numbers instead of the antenna bars. That's right in the same area, so it could be related.... maybe... or not. The screen was unlocked when this happened and I'm guessing I pushed a whole lotta buttons and/or icons as I was grabbing at it... I wonder if it is possibly an easter egg of some sort -- just the right combo of touches. Then again, it bounced right on THAT corner... LOL
That's the only stuff I've ever done to the phone. It's never been jailbroken or anything like that. It has taken a few falls in its lifetime but none resulting in any obvious damage.
It's a 32GB iPhone 3Gs and it is now 2 years old (bought June 27, 2009.) I'm just happy that it seems to be OK. While Apple's stock may be the largest market cap in the US, my portfolio sure isn't. -
My iPhone 5 have the glass popping sound when I press on the top left corner of my phone but I don't know why, I don't see any visibility of the glass coming out. My friends all told me to not exchange because after all the software is perfectly fine.
My phone just turned 2 months old. But in Singapore as long your phone is under one year warranty I can still go for an exchange at the respective telco, but my friends all suggest me to not change now cause after changing it'll be a refurbished set instead of a brand new one.

I have just installed a bigger harddisk and more ram in my MacBook Pro (from last year).
Now there is a question mark in the upper left corner of finder. If I click on it, there is a message : the object doesn't exist, well my message is in danish, but I think this is a close translation. So what is happening?

Welcome to the Support Communities!
It sounds like you have a cellular data plan and there is no service where you currently are.
The article below will explain this feature and how to turn the setting on/off.
The article has more details and screenshots, but I've quoted highlights below for you:
iOS: About the Cellular Data setting
Cellular data is used for data communication in cellular networks. It does not affect your ability to make or receive phone calls or to use Wi-Fi networks for Internet connectivity. If you turn off cellular data, you will be unable to:
See the cellular data icons in the status bar (for example, LTE or 3G).
Send or receive MMS messages. However, you can still send and receive SMS and iMessages if you're connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Retrieve or listen to new Visual Voicemail messages. To retrieve these messages, enable Cellular Data.
Use Personal Hotspot.
You can adjust this setting by going to:
iPad: Settings > Cellular
Additional Information
You can also enable or disable cellular data for certain iOS features from this setting:

I was just installing windows 7 onto my MacBook Pro. I selected to have 200GB for Windows and the rest leave for Mac.
I clicked install and the bar filled up as it should do. However, once the install had completed, my MacBook turned itself off. I assumed this was normal. Now, my MacBook has a black screen with a white flashing underscore in the top left corner.
What is wrong and what should I do?Hold down the Option key when starting up then on the sceen that comes up select Mac OS X to boot from.
The Win 7 install didn't go well and is hung in some way. You should use boot camp assistant to remove the win partition and start over.
Make sure you are using a Retail version of Win 7. A Branded OEM version, like ones from Dell and HP, will NOT work to install Windows 7 on your Mac. -
I have a small window quickly popping up and disappearing in the top left corner of my screen?
I apologize in advance if this has been covered elsewhere, but I have been searching and haven't found anything yet. And thank you for any help you can offer, it is greatly appreciated.
Every 15 seconds or so a small, empty window will pop up in the top left corner of my screen and then vanish instantly. It opens and closes in a blink, so quickly that I am not able to interact with the window in any way. However, it shows up momentarily as a firefox tab on my bottom panel, so I know it is a firefox problem.
It is only an issue because whenever it pops up I am exited from fullscreen if I am watching a video online, and anything that I am typing while the window pops up will be ignored.
I am currently running Linux Mint Olivia 15 Cinnamon. However, I had the exact same problem when I was running Windows 8. In both cases, firefox has been installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled, which does not fix anything. I have updated firefox since it started happening, which also did not fix anything.
It was very tricky, but I did manage to get a screenshot of the box while it was open.

So I downloaded acrobat XI Standard from the Adobe website, when I go to install it, it says "Adobe XI Pro" at the top left corner. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? I have a volume license for XI Std. so I would like to use the Std. version.

I've edited my NEF photos in lightroom and have tried to export to a formatted CD. When I try, I have several issues. I either see in the top left corner that the files are ready to go to CD but there is no further instruction or I get the pop up message that the files are offline or missing??
Just for background, in what format are you exporting your images? Also, are you able to export them to your hard drive in your chosen format? I haven't tried exporting directly to CD, but if you're able to export to hard drive and copy to CD, that may be one solution.

It's not a link, its an icon that indicates the photo cannot be found in the location where PSE expects it. This happens because you either renamed, moved or deleted the photos outside of PSE. To fix the problem, use File->Reconnect (you will have to find the actual file in one of your folders), and in the future, no more moving, renaming or deleting photos outside of PSE; if you MUST rename or move photos, do so from within PSE.

I have placed my SIM card into my iphone 5c and have confirmed co with my cellular network provider.However despite numerous reboots I am still getting "No Service" in the top left corner. Please advise

I have changed my account to SIM only and when I put my new SIM Card into my iPhone 4 it just says 'no service' in the top left corner, also iMessage has stopped working too. I can only use my phone on my WiFi at the moment, does anyone have any idea?
I already have, I contacted Orange yesterday and they said I will receive a text to confirm the registrastion for my new SIM Card, they said the text would arrive between 2 and 24 hours and its been over 24 hours with no text recieved

The Apple logo in the top left corner was purple... why?
This is just a weird anomaly that I'd like to figure out. On March 7, I noticed the Apple logo in the top left corner of my screen had turned purple. Once it happened, I wasn't entirely certain it wasn't always like that, like maybe the black background I had was tinted purple, but wasn't noticeable elsewhere. (Plus, none of my friends that work for Apple had anything to say about it.)
Tonight, after working on my computer for a few hours, I looked up and the Apple logo was back to dark grey, so I know something weird was amiss.
I'm using the same exact background on all of my "desktops," and have been for months... did anyone else experience this? I can find nothing on it, but it seems really odd. The rest of the colors have been consistent, so it's not a display issue... and if it was, the screen shots wouldn't look different.
Obviously not important, but strange.
I have a MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum) 2.4gHz and use an external display.Weird, the same is happening to me on an 8 core mac pro. We changed the graphics card to a Nvidia a little while ago so I tought this might have to do with it but it did it before if I remember correctly. I also have a macbook pro and it doesn't happen on the macbook pro. We are only macs at the studio and I am the only one that this is happening. I know it is know the speakers close to the screen nor the screens themselves, cause I tried a bunch of different screens. I remembered trying out Istatsmenu a little while back and the color scheme of that app was purple. Maybe that has something to do with it... but the other day the apple logo was greenish/gray. It doesn't do anything, system is running fine, it's just weird... anybody has an answer?
